What resources do you have available to you? What's your summoning level? Are you trying to train range at the best exp per hour or is multitasking more important to you? Training range via slayer not only results in slower range exp rates, but slower slayer rates as well. If you're training for the long run, it shouldn't hurt you overall, but if you're trying to accomplish short-term goals I would advise seeking more efficient methods.

If you can use the range inside the cook's guilde (requires Varrock Diary level 3) I'd use that. If not, use the one next to Catherby.

The innovative bit is that they're calling it a skill instead of just a huge content additon Ahh...excuse me XD Sadly, my bitterness has not abated. At least when they 'hyped' up Summoning, I knew what to expect. It was worse not knowing. inb4 ranted about 40 pages ago. :lol:

Nomad's Requiem came out after Temple of Sennisten. It's possible that between early December and mid January they had 'cemented' their stance on this. Though I'd love to see the Jmod quote that says it. Certainly it would help clear things up.

I'm usually of the opinion of "Wrap up your loose threads first, then start new stuff!"... But I have been dying for more guthix-related quests for ages. I mean really involved--not just with his mythology, but with how he's impacting current-day events. Yeah, While Guthix Sleeps and the mentions of Guthixian Edicts were pretty darn involved, but it was such a small fraction compared to Saradomin and Zamorak-touched quests. The fact that Pest Control didn't come out with such a quest when the minigame was released or even later reworked is an absolute crime. I'm glad they're addressing it.

Well, you can solo it yourself, although you might have a hard time finding a world empty for you. Corp does three kinds of loot-distributing teams, usually: FFA (meaning no LS/CS), lootshare (so items are distributed based on your Lootshare points), and coinshare (which will distribute coin split rare drops for median GE prices) You might find it difficult to find a team since your combat stats aren't 90+. Also, if you plan on doing Lootshare, you'd most likely have to do it for a bit to raise your LSP before you'll actually get something worthwhile. CS is the most fair, but again it goes back to the stats. I would not recommend FFA teams for you as you don't have either extremes nor maxed melee. I would say Wraith is your best bet of the two, but personally I'd recommend making your money elsewhere and just buying your own Elixir that way.

I'm pretty partial to the spear types. Whether or not it's the best, I'm not sure.

It's hard enough to break into the pvp scene on f2p let alone p2p for a smaller clan. And if a bunch of big clans all of the sudden started pking very well and very often in the very cramped, tiny amount of p2p worlds, it'd be pretty crappy...or at least, that's what I imagine it'd be like. I'll admit, I don't know a terribly large amount about p2p pking.

Oh. I really wasn't expecting an update this week. But when I saw the image on the main page of Zanaris...Ah well, I guess I started to dream! I'm glad they made the special tasks consistent throughout the slayer masters rather than just Kuradel. It makes logical sense. Thrilled they finally added a left-click clearing option for weeds and dead plants. Nice and streamline now. :) Oh no...they 'fixed' the ancient mace spec in the patch notes. Does this mean I can't boost to 95 prayer anymore for my F2P wars? Crap! EDIT: Nope, mace specs can still be used for f2p wars. Wahoo!

Moving to Forum Updates & Suggestions. Should get a better answer there as this is really a forum related question. I've never used the IP Lofi skin myself, maybe someone else knows in the meantime. :)

They were necessary before the internet kicked in. Now that's like carrying around a beeper when you have a cell phone with unlimited texting. Kinda antiquated. Yeah, they're cool and they do a lot for the value of a collectible game, but to the average fella they're not needed.
