  1. What would be left, then, to discuss in Off-Topic?
  2. Grats, keep on improving. Was that really necessary?
  3. CR seems to be rather respectful. With the way this topic was prefaced I expected a great deal more 'beef.' Grats Coll, it was well done. :)
  4. If more communities posted, maybe it wouldn't be so solely combat driven. Thanks for posting this, for that exact reason! :) Happy birthday.
  5. It's in the first post, if you read it.

  7. PKRI's are more fun because you get more than one chance to tank :P plus you run outta arrows/binds etc a lot of strategy goes on :P Agreed, though after the 2hr mark they get extremely tedious and boring. At least for me they do.
  8. Another not-so-bad site like this is sparkpeople.com. I use it all the time.
  9. Out of sheer curiosity, what OS are you running?
  10. Their original difficulty stemmed from the fact that they required both the fire cape and the level to slay. Regardless if you thought that was fair or not, that is an undeniable fact. Removing that requirement for everyone and replacing it with something so easily achieved as a fixed number of points (that yes, would take time to do, but you can indefinately acheive it) lessens that difficulty factor. These monsters were clearly intended to be a challenge, but now they are as mundane as say, Dark Beasts. Whether or not you think it's appropriate or not to have minigames integrated into a skill is a simple difference of opinion, one you could discuss without having to resort to calling other people children lol.
  11. Looks lovely, I love all the color.
  12. A million out of 10, 99 Runecrafting is the one cape I respect the most. :D
  13. Well that's pretty decent, if not intended as a bit of a distraction XD Nice finding that out, Bassy :)
  14. Moved to the appropriate forum. :)
  15. Really? You'd compare say 6 hours of slaying with 2 hours of Jad? Even when most slayer tasks can be semi-afk'd with a cannon? I'd agree with the sentiment that this wasn't a terrible compromise given the choices they had, but it most certainly brings down the challenge this content originally possessed, thus degrading the quality of the update. IMO.
  16. Only a point or two higher in max damage? That doesn't quite seem right. Why aren't they significantly harder? I guess that would be seen as too much of a 'punishment'. Meh, I really liked this integration concept that the slayer skill was starting to display. It would seen now, though, that this will no longer be the case. It's a little heart-breaking. Virtually no use to use the fire cape now EDIT: during slayer tasks, I mean... I'd buy the ability just so I wouldn't have to wear it in order to be assigned them--if I had the level for such a thing, of course. The fire cape will have a ferocious ring-like effect where you'll have +4 added to your damage when you hit.
  17. ^ =D> This topic really deserves a bump since no action has been taken to remedy any of the issues mentioned. /facepalm We have the TICT Tourny '10 going on right now. You are correct; we are not going to inundate people with events, shindigs, etc. There's only so much that people can handle at once! :P Content for our site will be underway shortly, we're starting CD events, the tourney is underway, etc. As for changing the stigma that Tip.it is a CWA-only spot and inferior, I think everyone--not just the staff--are doing their best to change this. I see quite a few people posting night out topics, pvp fight topics, etc. We allow PvP as a method of fighting in all our events (TWR and TICT). Short of grabbing them by the head and shouting in their ear, there's not a lot of things that can be done to speed up this transition. Word of mouth is and always will be, however, the fastest and most effective way of changing the minds of the misinformed. :P
  18. Grats baalboy. :) I haven't seen you in ages since you stopped posting in the Clan Disccusion board :o Pro tank! <3
  19. Yeah, I got that lol. I suppose that the benefit of the doubt should be given and the person he said that to should just be assumed to have come late...But having recently fought a clan that used similar tactics to boost their ending opts in a time-cap fight, I'm skeptical. Don't mind me, I'm a suspicious person by nature.

  21. So they stepped up the difficulty. What's wrong with making the game, which has undeniably become easier over the years, a little bit more difficult? Had Nomad's Requiem released with a slayer monster, people would still whine because of the challenge. (Irregardless of whether or not you might find it easy, mind you. Some people had difficulty with it, just like some people find Fight Caves incredibly easy.) It's a good thing--a hard thing to get used to, as change often is, but overall a good thing indeed.
  22. Not really much difficult than having a slayer monster that, say, requires a quest to access.
  23. Wow that looks pretty amazing. :s How many hours did it take?
  24. "Get here for ending." Hmm. :3 Better luck next time Ascension.
  25. You can't get assigned them unless you're wearing a cape... If you could, then I actually might agree with the whiners. Wow, really? Then what's the issue? GAH! Sometimes, I really hate people. :wall:
