Or maybe you should stop caring about insignificant [cabbage]. Kids are disrespectful. This is not a new thing. Actually that is pretty terrible and any person with a conscience would get mad about it. Honestly, this. Rocco, I'm fine with pacifism and all, but it can be taken too far. When a person who can't defend themselves is being picked on (like a mentally disabled person or a cripple), you should help. Why? Because they lack the capability to help themselves, and if you stand by and allow misdeeds to happen that you could have stopped, you are nearly as bad as the perpetrators of those misdeeds.

It's cool on paper, but in practice it just doesn't do well. Hazards mean that he's easy to detect. You'd need to feign it as a Psychic type to lure in foolish ghosts and Darks it can hurt. Poor guy just doesn't have the defenses. He does net an awesome surprise kill every now and then though. To truely screw over an opponent, have him pretend to be Shedinja.

Even if you spend all day on it, is it even possible? :-? I don't know. I've decided it takes me about 100 seconds per page (Very rough average) So that'd be about 17 hours of what I have left. (I have 100 pages read so far). But you'll slow down as you get tired and/or bored.
  4. ^I've made it to the top twenty! OT: Martial Arts styles that degrade the rank system. I went to a tournament last week in which one of the four dojos participating brought almost only Junior blackbelts. It turns out that in that style you START as a Junior blackbelt with a white stripe, and proceed through it. But since Junior blackbelts are traditionally a student who has tested for blackbelt, but does not reach that studio's age requirement (a rare occurance), they basically got a division to themselves. Meanwhile, the normal under blackbelt division had as low as two participants per division. It's a pain to show up expecting a full tournament, then only have to spar one person to win first place.
  5. People who try to prove points about human behavior and such using literature. (Or even worth, things like the law and science.) Sure that book mayv'e been good, but the only reason it's characters did what they did was because the author wrote it that way. They obey what the author thinks is true, not necessarily what is. (To a level this is what annoys me about essays in my school's English classes, as you use books you read in class to prove your points. And sometimes classical authors just got things wrong.)

    That is freaking amazing.

That is grotesquely brilliant. People back then were actually creative. This, but with the addition of an extra hole being cut for your groin. And honey and fecal matter slathered all over that as well.
  8. You just need to move on to bigger and better things in life. Like what? Real life is even worse for me. I'd be dead by now for sure if it weren't for this game. And now my motivation is deteriorating more and more for this game. So things don't look good for me. If I ever decide to commit suicide I'll write a goodbye post. Which is kind of likely. Paperbags, I have no idea who you are in this game, although your name seems to ring a bell. However, let me give you these words: Firstly, don't give up on life. You have talents, no? Things you're good at? Take those and run with them. Life gets a lot nicer for a lot of people after highschool. All you have to do is survive through it. Also I'd like you to think what your suicide would do to people. I'm sure most of us here and Tip.it, especially those that know you personally would be shocked and hurt if you committed suicide. Remember that by doing something like that you are irreversably harming the lives of many others. Everyone you know in real lfie, and then people they know will be affected by seeing them affected. Could you live with yourself if you ruined someone's life becasue you couldn't stand waiting for things to get better? If not, then rememebr that would be your legacy upon death. Like I said, I don't know you. But you could change the world. Perhaps you'll invent the cure for cancer, .Or perhaps you'll simply make another person happier, and inspire them. And maybe that person will do something great, or simply inspire another person. A single good deed has effects reaching further than you could ever guess or know. Getting bored with Runescape isn't the end of all things. I know what it's like to have Runescape being the only worthwhile thing in your life, as I've been there. But let me tell you that real life is a way cooler MMO than Runescape will ever be.You should see the emergent gameplay out here. But really, life is far preferable to death, especially for a person who is still young like you. And if you think simply being alive can't make a difference, then pm me and I'll show you stories of men who contemplated suicide, then went on to change the world. Actually, some of the greatest men ever almost committed suicide before they even began. Don't give up.
  9. Just wait until I post.
  10. recharge costs = ammo. So, all melee weapons are overpowered, at least.
  11. One activity still has strict division in most western culture and one does not. It makes no sense to compare the two. Disagree. Males wearing makeup has become much more prevalent in western society. (Not that I would choose to  ) http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18062886/ns/health-forbescom/ 52% is still a far cry from acceptable, but I see your point. The comparison isn't as poor as I originally thought. Actually, I've had many girls try to force me tow ear makeup and/or ask me why I was so reluctant to wear it. And by "many" I mean at least six in the course of two years.
  12. Basically, a tiny percentage of these are legitimate, but the vast majority are scams. And most who will do it legitimately are just hoping to lure in higher risks. This should be kind of obvious when you think about it. There are more fun things to do with money than get yourself called a scammer by everyone in the grand exchange if you're legitimate.

Give his cellphone number to /b/ Fixed. Yeah, really that should do the trick. Or text the girls back, and give them him number, along with a story of how he was handing out your number. Phrase this as insultingly as possible and maybe they'll all send him hate-texts.

  15. Oh, okay. That should work fine. Especially since then you'll be liable to be sued everytime you make a joke. Suddenly, a newspaper writes ana rticle about how a company sucks, and is sued for all it's worth. Or people start egtting carted away for insulting the president. The moment you limit free speech a little, especially udner vague terms like "offensive", then you open up loopholes elft and right.
  16. ^I once stabbed my girlfriend in the eye with a nerf sword. Actually, there are very few people I know who I haven't stabbed in the eye or nearly stabbed in the eye. ...All accidental, of course. You don't need to worry unless I have to hide in the closet for an extended period of time.
  17. Or that yes, she doesn't want to hurt you. My apologies, i'm currently going through a stage where I see the worst in people. Really need to stop this. Can I ask, have you actually done something wrong for this letter to be written or are you just doing it for the sake of your relationship? I'm pretty good at telling when she's lying, but I doubt I can convince you either way. Well, her parents logged onto ehr account while we were chatting and thus overheard me ranting about how they sucked as aprents, how much my parents hated them (untrue, but I felt like having allies), and how much they sucked in egenral. I was doping this to cheer ehr up and ebcause I was angry at them for screaming at her for basically no reason. I don't think I was really in the wrong, as they should never have eavesdropped on our personal conversation, but I also understand why they now dislike me for insulting them.
  18. Well, it turns out part of the issue was that she thought her depression was ruining my life. So, after convincing her that she'd actually made me less of a [puncture], less judgemental, and happier in general, I think we've made some major progress.* She had to go to the store with her parents, but when she gets back, I'll work out with her the apology letter and our plan of attack. So yeah, things've improved. *And no, she doesn't want to break up with me, or if she does she's the best actor I've ever seen. We still exchange all the mushy couple stuff that you guys probably don't want to hear whenevr we part or meet, and she initiates it as much as I. And I don't think you can tell someone you love them on a regular basis without prodding and actually want nothing to do with them.
  19. It couldn't hurt? I feel like it would change very little, but I fail to see a down side to this plan Well, my girlfriend insists it will do absolutely nothing, and says she'll be disappointed in me if I do. Ugh... I don't get her right now, which is rare. Normally we're always on the same page, but I just don't get why she reacts so violently to this idea.
  20. Sorry I stopped replying, but I've been rather busy lately. Now, to past posts: She didn't really want to break up with me, she's just freaked out about not being able to see me. Especially over summer, as she's afraid to sneak it. The only options here I guess are to hope she becoems willing to sneak hanging out, or that I can mend things with her parents. I'm going to work towards the latter starting Monday. Now, I have two new issues: One: She hasn't come online at all today, which is very unlike her. I can't get a friend to call ehr to check up on ehr tomorrow, and am really, really worried. OTL Two: What do you guys think of a three or more page apology letter as a good way of repairing relations with her parents? I'm hoping the sheer amount of (apparent) time required will help, and that they'll be more likely to read at elast some of it ratehr than rip it up, due to its length. Eh?
  21. Well, she had her period today, so that's solved. And I'll try out new chats with her later. But... she's looking on her parents not letting us hang out as the end of us ever seeing each other. Mind, we can still see each other in school, chess club, when she waits for the late bus after review, and when a mutual friend (Skyler) sets up stuff for us to do. Also, I'm hoping her mom, at least, will eventually waver and let us see each other again. But, she's just.... I can't cheer her up right now. And I can always cheer her up. I need help. I need her to realize that we can't change what happened, but we can face the future positively and make due with what we have. We can make it through this until things get better.
  22. Okay, I need help cheering up my girlfriend now. We're both kind of bummed by us not being able to hang out much, but she's got a lot mroe of a pessimistic attitude. She's sure we'll be caught, won't be able to hang out at all, and that her parents will never relent. orz Now, I've already asked a really close friend of mine to call ehr tomorrow to help cheer her up (he's gay, and in a relationship so there's nothing to worry about there, in case anyone was wondering). Also I'm trying to find as many methods for us to communicate as possible. So, I'm looking for a really good online chat that doesn't require download (and isn't Facebook), and really good ways to cheer her up. Since right now her outlook and mood are worse than I've ever seen them. (To compund the problem, I'll be away from home from 10:30- later than 4:00 tomorrow.) EDIT: And now she's got even more to worry about. Her period is two weeks late, and she's had cramps through that time. She thinks she might be pregnant. However, as far as intimacy goes, we've only ever gone as third base. And we've always been very careful that once something touched my junk, it stayed away from her junk. So basically, I need other possible explanations for this. I don't see how it's possible for ehr to be pregnant, but the situation is weird regardless.

I really only post here once a week when I come home anyway. And it was with somebody else, not the jellyfish. Let's up the ante. Iamdam won't mention anything remotely sexual for a month, unless directly asked. Meanwhile, Tim will make sex jokes and sexual implications in every single post.

I was utterly transfixed by Orpheus's post.
  25. [hide=Well, here's an update.] He parents did read our messages, and they now hate me. So yeah, we're not allowed to hang out outside of school anymore. (Although that's easily avoided using clubs and mutual friends, luckily.) But I basically am not even allowed to call her anymore. Her aprents also changed ehr Facebook password so she can't use it. (She has several other accounts, though, so....) The main problem about this is that Mid-Winter break starts this Saturday, and if it weren't for the fact that her parents don't know she can go on the internet with her Kindle, we'd be compeltely devoid of methods of communication. (I somehow doubt they'll let me call her when they're doing their best to make us break up.) I've also talked to my parents about it, and they think I shouldn't apologize. Yes, I said I thought their parenting skills suck, but that was in a private conversation caused by them being total asses. And I was right about most of the things I said. Also, by spying on our conversation, they definitely commited the greater crime in my eyes.[/hide] And for replies: @catie: Simply standing up to them won't work. For one, her parents consider any challenge to their authority to be a cardinal sin, and would severely punish her just for speaking against them. Also, she has anxiety issues and self-image problems. [Luckily, her parents have finally agreed to let her see a counselor. But regardless, standing up to them isn't really an option for her. Oh, and as for the typoes, I'm a two finger typer, and I was in such a mood as to not want to spellcheck when I made my last post. Anyways, I've never concidered the occasional "ehre" to be a huge issue communication-wise. @Giordano: Unfortunately, her dad believes that teenagers can't make valid points. So he'd just dismiss anything I said. Also, her parents have never even made an attempt to meet mine. (Mine have made a couple of attempts, but gave up when none worked.)
