    Sure. [hide=Horrible joke][/hide]
  2. [hide=And here's yet another. O=] I'm the one breaking the board, by the way.[/hide] Actually, I think I'll dump my karate related images here, just for fun. [Hide=More karate stuff] Me being awesome at limbo at a karate Christmas party last year. Me performing a take-down I invented during a camp. And the next 2 images are of me getting murdered for trying to stab this girl. [/hide]
  3. I dunno, the thread here about it was pretty awesome for a long while.

Jeesus, by the posts on this page, at least 80% of TiF has had a sucky day today. And yes, made up statistics are awesome. Edit: The page before this.
  5. Well, I never went over, mainly because my parents told me to calm down and not overreact. (They don't know about the past abuse, obviously.) However, when I called her, no-one answered. Which is typical of her family when she's grounded. No-one ever answers the phone when a friend of her's calls. (Actually, her family just never picks up the phone unless the call is directly directed at that family member, or she's in the room to pick up the phone.) However, chacnes are she'll sneak online late at night tonight, and I'll also call ehr cell-phone at around 10:00. My honest guess is that she's fine, just bored, upset, and cut off. If I can't get in tocuh tonight, I'll barrage them with calls tomorrow. Mainly I'm holding out for Monday, when she'll be at school. ...If she doesn't show up at school, I'm going directly to her house and demanding to see her, though. Edit: She messaged me. He didn't hit her, he just screamed at her. Oh, and every message I posted here was sent by him. As in, he pretended to be her for a while. Oh, and he ranetd about me being snotty for the way I sent the emssages. Apparently politeness and good grammar are nasty, evil things. And, he's angry that I called three times, and only left a message the third time. DESPITE THE FACT HE REFUSES TO ANSWER A FREAKING PHONE, HE CONSIDERS ME RUDE FOR BEING WORRIED. Guys, if I strangle with man do you think the judge will let me off for "excessive idiocy?"
  6. If it's heartfelt and well written, yes. Don't you mean no?
  7. But if he isn't, he'll obviously be highly offended at me for showing up at 10:00 pm, for no reason. Plus my parents probably wouldn't let me out of the house this late....
  8. So, I have to apologize to you guys. As well as avoiding this thread for a few weeks, I didn't take your advice. My girlfriend has been fairly adament about legal action, mainly because she knows her mom is too weak to ever go against her dad. Also, she is afraid of it, I think. But, it's been getting worse lately. She managed to go 4 weeks without self-mutilating, but yesterday she ripped so much skin off her thumbs she needed to cover them with band aids at school today. Also, her fatehr recently told her to move in with her grandparents during an argument, and she actually consider packing up and doing so. Today she told me the only thing that makes ehr go home is the knowledge that running away gets you labelled as a juvenile delinquent and gets you sent to court. You see, her parents freaked out on her for not wanting to eat dinner (becasue it was a food she disliked and she was feeling nauseus). They then screamed at her for being lazy and not doing enough chores, when she regularly makes dinner, cleans dishes, does the laundry, and cleans the bathroom. Compared to her dad who plays Call of Duty all day and ingests 2 liter bottles of pop in 24 hours, despite having severe diabetes. He then threatened to hit her, and started saying I act like a snob around him and am not good enough for her. Keep in mind he hasn't seen me face to face in the past seven months. As a matter of fact, he's seen me twice. Once he was cussing at traffic and glaring at us, so I was silent. The other time he asked if I played World of Warcraft. Aka, we haven't exactly intereacted enough for him to have opinions on me. Now today, she went offline again in a similar fashion, and an hour and a half later came on and told me she'd been screamed at. After this short exchange: "got yelled again otl." "orzwhat for? ;;? [and did it start the moment you elft?]." "the usual." After this she ceased to reply for a while, and then this happened: "This is ambers father." "Hello? *May I ask what you've come here to tell me?." "i have come here not to tell you anything, was just letting you know the messages you were sending were not gettingto amber." "Oh, okay.Is she grounded from the computer/phone?Or just away for the moment?" "that's between us and amber. I am sure she willlet you know." "Okay I'd just like to know if she'll be able to contact me over the weekend So I can know whetehr I should try calling, making plans, etc." *This was sent after several minutes of him not replying to my initial response of hello. At this point he ceased to reply altogether. Now beyond the frustrating point that I don't know whetehr she's groudned from talking to me, and she boviously can't tell me if she is, and he obviously won't, I'm also worried. This is the first time her dad has ever had the audacity to post for her. What's happened? It could be Amber is just upstaiors crying or having an anxiety attack (I can't believe that's a best case scenario). But it could even be that he's beaten her. I don't know. Honestly, my main reason for posting here is because I'm freaking out and need to be calmed down. Help.

I just bought a bucket of cherry flavored popcorn for $0.50 due to Hallowe'en sales. Success.
  10. To be honest, this sounds more like RSOF than Runescape.

Whatw e need is a 9001% Vitamin B energy drink. And if memes annoy you, just remember that it'll cause many who love memes to overdose and die.
  12. This guy has a good idea; if you're good at something artisanal or artistic, make her something. You get twenty times the brownie points. I can't make anything, really not artistic unfortunately.. Back to getting ideas. Come on, theres got to be something you can make This website has a lot of cool projects and ideas and things to make, some of them are very simple and pretty cool too. Or you could get her flowers and chocolate or something that reminds her of something fun you two did together One word. Origami. Anyone can pick it up, all you need is a $5 pack of apper to last you a year (or just print yourself a colored square of paper), and girls freaking love it. For my girlfriend's brithday I did the folling: -Made an origami box -Made an origami heart -Put the heart in the box with a short note I also gave her a bracelet, but the heart in the box was actually the gift she liked more. (It's also very, very simple to make) Also, origami roses. Trust me, those things are the Holy Grail of romanticness. (Although they're fairly advanced, hey.) Looks like I'm going to be buying some origami off the local Asians :) Well, the internet is the best source for diagrams, and if you're too lazy to print your own paper, or would rather get high quality stuff then any craft store will sell it.

Culinary arts. No, he's definitely a sex counselor.
  15. Compensating? :-P OT: Lots of lint. Last time I had anything in my pockets it was a cell phone, pen, and slip of paper with library numbers. I think they are. Don't point that out, though. After all, they do have knives. OT: Well, at the moment nothing, as I'm in pajamas. But normally: Front right pocket has keys, a pen, and a pencil. Front left pocket has any gum or candy I'm carrying, my comb, and the bracelet my girlfriend gave me (which broke, hence why it does in my pocket until I can get it fixed). Back right pocket has my wallet. (It's fat enough that I'd notice anyone pickpocketing me, thank you very much. And also, I don't carry much money in it.)

    Not again.
  17. But how do I do that? I mean, her aprents have spoken of divorce, but ehr dad always talks her mom out of it. Saying the kdis need two parents. And I doubt she'd be willing to rip her household apart like that, either. I'll talk to her about it, though. (By the way, the last time ehr dad hit her was several years ago, he currently only hits her sisters, generally for things like crying.) Oh, and her mom only knows about all of this through her oldest daughter (the 15 year old) as she works days and the dad works nights. She does have a clsoe family though. Grandparents she visits often, and a pelthora of uncles, cousins, etc, so I guess if worst came to worst, she could find a new home easily. But I just wish I could find a way into talking her mom into making a stand (ignoring the fact that she doesn't know that I know about all of this). After all, a clean cut divorce would probably be the easiest way to save them. (I'm referring to the two younger sisters here, as Amber has support from non-family members to keep ehr going, but 5 and 3 years olds don't.) And I'm sorry if I rambled a bit with this psot, as I've taken to making these posts right before going to sleep. It helps me vent, if you will.
  18. My girlfriend has depression. She's usually fine around me, as I'm glad I can say that my presence tends to cheer her up. (Or if my presence isn't enough alone, I add in words to help.) However, I can't be around her always. Her parents have been treating her like crap recently. Her dad mentally abuses (and sometimes physically abuses) both ehr sisters, and screams at her often for things like having an 84 on a math exam, or sitting in the wrong chair. Her mom isn't abusive, but is bullied by her husband, and suffers from depression also. So when she's depressed she can be quite bitter towards her daughters as well. She has purposefully hrut ehrself ebfore to relieve the tension. Either digging finegrnails into ehr tempels or hands, or taking burning hot shwoers to sear her skin. In French class yesterday she suddenly started feeling horrible (she doesn't know why) and pinched the tips of her fingers as hard as she could. SHe felt really bad in French class again today, as well. She obviously can't get therapy, as her parents are the cause and she can't go up and tell them that they're doing this to her. (Her mom is a social worker so she might get it, but she might just get defensive, and her father would probably kick her out of the house, which he has done once before.*) *She refused and ran upstairs, and so he hit her instead. Oh, and she's 15 this November.

I'm getting sick of Facebook. The only reason I use it, aka its chat, is sucking harder than a shopvac recently. Does anyone here know a reliable alternative that isn't a pain (and is free) for me to get an account on? Oh, and it had better have message sent notification sounds.

is mine craft actually fun? I've heard it mentioned on my facebook newsfeed before Do you like Lego? I do love a good Lego set, yes also, Monty Python <3: Then Minecraft will be a dream come true. Lego without the cleanup and instead of bullies it has creepers, which basically have the same effect.
  21. So I'm not the only one here who ate a cigarette?
  22. Happens with everyone. You'd be surprised at how many teachers fail to spell the correct word. The one that does annoy me is waste/waist. It's so damn obvious which one is correct, yet they'd still constantly make the same mistake. One thing that annoys me; Brain farts. You raise your hand in class desperate to answer, then when you finally answer, you're stuck. :| Are/Our and Two/to/too come up too. Even if it does happen with everyone, there's very simple rules that are easy to remember for all of them. I see a lot of people say something like "Are we going to you're house?" You're is obviously a contraction because of the apostrophe, I don't see how people mess that up. "Are we going to you are house?" makes absolutely no sense. And speaking of sense, I see sense/cents/since a lot too... Yes two many people do that. It's so annoying sense you can't do anything about it, your right. I love you're posts This makes so little cents that I think were all going too be poor.

Which science? Elements/Compounds and such. If you like that now, just wait until you get into actual physics/ chemistry. :shades:
  24. Not when they tell you it's loading by some meter or spinning object and when its gone you still can't skip. <_< That's why I gave up on Kingdom Hearts. 20+ minutes of opening cutscenes that are too mindscrewy to follow... ...That was hard to understand? What part? Unless you mean the music video opening, most Square Enix games sport those nowadays. On topic: When people use the wrong word in place for something that has an established meaning. You didn't "itch" yourself, you scratched yourself. Goddamn. I'm pretty sure itch is a verb now, actually.
