  1. How did the loop start? It's part of a larger loop, which is part of another even larger one, etc etc going on for infitity. (That's the best I can come up with, anyways.) EDIT: You have no idea how tempted I was to say "God started it."
  2. Oh oh oh! How about time is a ring? Like, our apocalypse will kill God, but spawn a new one. This new God is actually the old one, but has no knowledge of what occured before him. It then creates the Universe. So we're in an infinite loop, with either a: everything repeating itself infinite times or b: the end is at the exact same time as the beginning, and basically everyone and everything is reborn. Or something like that.
  3. Well, here's a bit more unique of a concept. If our universe has a unievrse in every atom, and every atom in those universes have universes in them, and our universe is but a single atom in a universe that is but a single atom in another universe, etc... then I ask you: Would there be a universe identical to this one? With another TTanT typing this post simultaneously as me? Another Dizzle exploring haunted houses? And infinite others with all of us living every possible existance with our exact same minds? My head hurts.
  4. We're trying to be scientific about it. If we see something, we're going to investigate it, not make assumptions. You have to be skeptical. That said, I promise not to make it like Most Haunted, where we tell you stuff happened, but don't actually show anything and expect you to take our word for it. Edit: Video is up. To your question tfrom the video, I distinctly remember all three locks being intact in the first video. ...Weird.... If Dizzle suddenly stops posting, TiF needs to send a rescue team.
  5. Oh god yes. Smarts are so sexy on a girl. Especially with a nice pair of librarian glasses to complement it. ;) I bring up the controversies of TIF to my girlfriend to hear her input and I couldn't be any more turned on. Don't even get me started on the intercourse. I'm not entirely sure what you were implying there. The verbal intercourse, or another type?
  6. Or if you want a mind [bleep] of a different nature, what if we're an atom in a cell in a macro-being's nether regions? Because that could end up being a literal mind [bleep]. :twss:
  7. Let's hope we don't end up in some macro civilization's Hadron Collider.

I can make my girlfriend's aches and pains subside momentarily just by putting my hands on her and concentrating. Off-topic: I made a relatively successful thread!

Was it due to my occasional gay jokes? Because I'm sorry, I really am!
  10. As long as they're led by Google and Microsoft. Microsoft will organize it, but won't join because they're going for isolationism.

Seriously, what the heck? (Her allowance is tiny, so this basically means she gets no birthday rpesents, as he's taking the money out of that. And it isn't like her family is struggling financially. At all.)
  15. I don't exactly have a definition, nor care to think up of one, but I can say that I would definitely call the Native American's a civilization. I see no reason not to. They were their own people. They had their own culture, they're own society, they're own way of life. That's a civilization in my eyes. Faux didn't say that they didn't have warfare, nor do I think he meant it. The Europeans did slaughter a lot of the Native American's unfairly. They had no strong reason to what they did, they had no strong reason to take away their land (it's greed, that's not just), put them in concentration camps, rape their women, take their children away and sent to boarding schools, break their treaties, none of that. I don't blame everyone white person for what happened (like I know some native's today do), because they didn't take part in it. I can't say "I hate you for your ancestors", as that's not right. However, I can say that those who did take part, I have absolutely no respect for. Obviously I think what the Conquistadores did was wrong, but I think what Range was trying to express was that the Native American peoples weren't exactly pacifist victims either. They simply got the short end of the stick technology and luck wise. If roles were reversed, they would've done the same. (Now, I'm not saying what was done was right, but I'm tired of people describing the Native American peoples as total victims. Half of those so called 'advanced, peaceful' southern nations practiced human sacrifce, for goodness sakes.)
  16. Our immune systems were pretty well against what disease we did have, so there was rarely fatalities from a virus. It's the same philosophy when you go to basic training, you WILL get sick because different areas have different strings of viruses, and you're immune system hasn't built up a defense to them, so you get it a lot easier, and it hits you harder. Saying historically they're not important is as arrogant as it gets. You can actually learn a lot from the Native Americans if you have an open mind and actually learned the culture and everything they've done. There's a difference between 'disease' and 'sick'. You originally said there were no diseases before the Europeans, which was what I was arguing against. I agree with you in that the Native Americans were not much affected by their own diseases, though. The joys of not living in unsanitary cities such as there were in Europe. Generally for something to be 'historically important' it has to have shaped the world in some way, or have consequences for the future. The diseases that struck the Native Americans lack either characteristic, because the Native American lifestyle prevented them from causing much damage, and their isolation prevented it from spreading. (And do you think swine flu or avian flu will be remember and spoken of 100 years from now?) I never said Native American culture was unimportant, remember. Just most of their diseases. Although if syphilus originated in the Americas, as some believe, then that one could be considered important, as it infected the entire world.
  17. Because nukes had been invented sooner and we were starting over as hunter-gatherers? No, because I'm Native American, and that's what we did before there was a United States. No one said anything about any other country taking the territory, so I'm happy to assume the Native's still roamed the land. I'm afraid to say that the Native Americans would've probably been absued by someone else, then. Not completely true. If the Europeans didn't come when they did, we could have advanced ourselves enough to protect ourselves from further dangers. Disease killed far mroe Native Americans than actual Europeans did. So I have a feeling plague would've gotten you. ...Unless you had another plague before they came, and so instead the Europeans were struck down by disease.... There were no diseases before the Europeans came. The Europeans brought the disease with them. ...What...? The Native Americans had diseases, just far fewer due to their lifestyle. (No farm animals, less travel/trade, etc.) You also never hear of them because frankly, they aren't historically important. But to say the Americas were disease free is like saying there are no homosexuals in the Middle East.

  23. The only way the scammer's day was brightened was that he successfully caused someone to be muted. Apparently the OP's day wasn't brightened because he came to cry about it on the forums. My day (and a numbers of other posters') days weren't brightened, because we saw the whole debacle as sheer stupidity. Perhaps your day was brightened because you lead an exceptionally dim life... Jagex is a business, and whoever works there must have figured out that it costs them less to have naive players cancel their membership than hiring a PR worker and paying him a salary Anyway, I'm not exactly sure that you've been reading all of my posts, seeing as how you could only formulate a rather weak argument against a single snippet of one of my posts (and seeing how poorly thought out your argument was, it is likely you wouldn't be able to assemble a coherent reply to a whole post) But if, say, another person in the ge had read the message, it would've incited a chuckle. Hence it was a worthwhile message. And as for the second, that makes me lose respect for Jagex. I sued to think they actually cared about things like treating the players right over making as much money as possible. Now I'm not so sure. Hence why I no longer play.

I can play the guitar, bass, and keyboard quite well. However, the one instrument i have no hope of ever learning is the guitar hero controller. ^This except I fail at normal instruments, too. I can ride my bike no handed, and talk indefintiely about something without repeating myself, as long as I'm allowed to go on tangents and say things that don't make much sense.

Does this warrant a signature change? Only if someone makes me one. There you go. YES
