Yep, a thread about what we're awesome at. I know there isn't one of these threads on the top two pages, and making a new topic is no worse than thread necromancy, so I'll make this. (This is also the first thrad I've made that isn't asking for advice, so if there's a problem with this post, just pm it to me.) So, what're all of your unique talents? Is there anything you really want to learn how to do? I myself can whistle and hum simultaneously, fall and get up very quickly, and can make rhymes quite easily. The last of which made me briefly consider a career in poetry, but I doubt I'm good enough to succeed, so I dumped that idea pretty quickly.
  2. Sicne I'm sure you're all dying to see what I look like when I have a hologram on to hide my dinosaur body: Me and my girlfriend. Me at a friend's rgaduation party. The guy is said friend's dad, and the girl in the blue hoodie is said friend's sister. For the girl in a red hoodie's identity, see above.
  3. I know of him because I lurked here for a full year before I made my account. And since my first thread was "Ever Caught Them?" I think of him almost castrating himself when shaving his groin.
  4. It's also flip side of the coin, most of us would know its a joke, but for greater consequences, some other players might not consider it to be one. Especially those who are new to RS and just try to stick to the rules. For the most part, I know some people would be saying stuff that's totally against the rules, and then throw a quick response of "just kidding" to annual what they just said. Why do it if its against the rules? I think the more appropriate action for this case would be without the mute, but some sort of warning message from Jagex with a screen shot of incident, stating something like "even though your intention was not malicious in any way, we recommend you to take some indirect approach with similar incident in the future" Just my 2 cents Even the stupidest newb wouldn't give someone their password so said person could scam them. I mean, it's like walking around saying "Give me your wallet and I'll take your money" in real life. No-one's going to give you their wallet. And that's completely different from what happened. It shouldn't even require that. Maybe a warning to player who reported him for wanna-be-modding, but nothing else.
  5. The mime's mime family. They'll mourn silently.
  6. A nerd who can defend himself. That's pivotal. A badass nerd is still more or less a nerd :ugeek: Okay, I like the label "badass nerd."
  7. What the [bleep] is wrong with you people? I mean, context has nothing to do with it. "Give me your account and I'll scam you" is a fairly comrpehensive sentence. For it to require context would be "Give me your account" "So I can scam you." This reminds me of when I ws banned for a week, which was then turned into 3 weeks by an update for telling hyt chat that "Hey guys your password is muted see? 598753" "Oh, crap." Even taken out of conext that message is fairly obviously a joke. And my message was far worse than OP's. By the way, as a point, I'm saying the following to show you how TIF handles their reports far better than Jagex. Give me your TIF forum password via pm, and I'll hack your account and link dirty websites and viruses on all the threads.
  8. To quote a certain comic: "If a tree falls in the middle of the forest, and no-one is around to hear it, how many liberals will it take to reinforce all of the trees around it?"
  9. Oooh, ooh can you guys tell me what I am? I always figured nerd, but here're my traits: I'm heavily commited to the martial arts I play video games, mostly RPG's and RTS's, but tend to get bored of a discard a game similar to a week after starting on it. I'm on the computer all day, but I'm talking to my girlfriend online. I have an optimistic outlook, but a dark sense of humor. (I also make puns a lot.) I'm smart, but don't try hard enough in school with homework, etc. Oh, and I read. A lot. (I'm fairly ambivalent as far as music goes, by the way.)
  10. We'd probably be French, which leads to the question: Would the French Revolution have happened anyways if the United States hadn't rebelled? I think so, so chances are the Untied States would've formed, just French, and maybe with a king/ dictator instead of a president.
  11. Actually, most of us would still be over in Europe. Not many Americans actually originate from the 'red indians'. Arthur Wellesly wasn't born somewhere else. I read that as Arthur Weasley. He would've owned Napoleon, too. After all magic > primitive firearms.
  12. Actually, most of us would still be over in Europe. Not many Americans actually originate from the 'red indians'. Also, it isn't like SPain, France, the Netherlands, Denamrk, and all the other European countries would've said "Oh there's no England so let's not go take advantage of two whole new continents to exploit." To be honest, without England we'd probably be French right now, (America, that is) and Napoleon would've ruled the world.* *Assuming the lack of an American Revolution didn't remove the French revolution and thus didn't remove his chance for power, and Arthur Wellesly wasn't born somewhere else.
  13. Do you want change for your dollar bill? Because you obviously need more sense.
  14. If said friend can't/ isn't willing to fix it themselves, it sounds like you'll need to get aprents or something for rehab.
  15. I'd tell her to distance herself from said guy or end the relationship. He doesn't need her to cheat on him again.
  16. It's funny because you are. And I've found lurking these threads is really informative. Maybe one day I'll be able to post on them and actually contribute.
  17. I c wut you did thar.
  18. Them being in the kitchen.
  19. I'm no economist and frankly have no diea what I'm talking about, hence why I avoid this thread, but.... Your "Growing Income Gap" graph seems to show a period of high taxes directly before the great depression. Just saying.
  20. Why no-one wants to work at a supermarket.
  21. I try to but remember that "Cool" Group i explained? he hangs out with them, while i hang out with my real friends, I moved away from that "Cool" group and i never plan to go near them again. If he saved your life, I think it's worth trying to rekindle the old friendship then. I mean, think of it from his point of view. "I saved his life and he doesn't even talk to me anymore, that shows what kind of person he turned out to be..." This. It shouldn't matter what social group he's in. He obviously is a true friend because he literally saved your life.

    Troll harder.
  24. If a true friend is someone I trust implicitly, then I have only one.

Actually, I'm engaged, althought it's our little secret due to our ages. Please don't flame.
