  1. The thing is, these rookies better end up getting something accomplished, otherwise Minnesota has just traded for Ainge's unsuccessful strategy (over the past four years) of stock-piling young talent.
  2. Don't stress over it too much. The more you stress about it, the more obvious it'll be, and the more attention you'll attract - the wrong kind of attention if you get what I mean. It's just another small phase in your life - act accordingly.
  3. Maybe he means lines between the individual forums on the index? :uhh:
  4. Why is that? Standings can't be decided throu each conference because they barely face the western teams, vise versa. All star game is The Best of the Players on Eastern Confernce, and the best out of the Players of the West The all-star game is a publicity event - hence the term 'all-star weekend'. Just because you take the top (most popular) players from each conference and stick them together on the court means nothing. Basketball is a team sport - hence I determine the strength of the conference based on the quality of the teams, not players. And the all-stars aren't going full out the entire game like they would in a real one. Quite often, even if it's only a quarter or two, there's some playing around involved - nothing too serious. They really only start stepping it up near the end of the game.
  5. Yeah, the west is still going to be better than the east. Just because a bunch of aging superstars have been brought into the broken conference doesn't mean they'll just gel. There's something called team chemistry that has to be built and maintained. I'd say while the east has some new shiny toys to play with, the big guns in the west have are just finetuning their weapons.
  6. I think this might be the season the Rockets actually get past the first round. You've still got the combo of Yao and Tracy, but now you have Battier and Scola to fill in the gaps. Only problem is PG, where we have a selection nightmare. Oh and Mutumbo a year older too lol
  7. According to FIFA's site, they got 4th and the fair-play along with Argentina.
  8. I'm extremely happy for the Iraqi National Team - they unite their nation and bring hope whenever they're out on the pitch. But gee, I hope there aren't going to be as many deaths as there were after the semis :-s.
  9. Ahaha, that was a good one . I was like 'Hmm, must of been a combo of Battier, Scola, and some other players...'
  10. Nightwish - Wanderlust
  11. Ljundberg's gone now too - there goes what's left of the unbeatable team.
  12. Moved to the Art Bazaar.
  13. Lupe Fiasco? Not sure if that's mainstream or not.
  14. I'm disappointed that they didn't show the Weasley twins' swamp

I took the SAT twice (April and June). Didn't study at all both times. Ended up getting the same score . April: 2120 Math: 780 Reading: 680 Writing: 660 (8 on the essay) June: 2120 Math: 710 Reading: 730 Writing: 680 (8 on the essay) Then again, my composite score (which many colleges will accept) is 2190 if you take the highest score of each subject. Close enough I guess. However, most of my friends did better and I guess they did some studying. But 5-7 hours a day is too much. Much of the test is just common sense. Sure, you can memorize vocab, but is it really worth the effort to memorize hundreds of words when you only find about a dozen of them on the test? Math section really isn't that hard. I guess if your grammar isn't that great you can study that. Practicing writing a timed essay every now and then might be helpful too - I suck at them :XD:
  16. And Liverpool get Babel too? This is the year, eh? Thought he'd hold out for Arsenal :-P
  17. There is a video game sub-forum for this here. And there is a sticky to advertise here.
  18. I've never ever seen any confusion over this... in fact the only spam I've ever seen caused by it was this :-w
  19. Moved to Help and Advice - Music, Movies & Television is for non-runescape related media.
  20. Tevez to Manchester United? Jeesh, and at the beginning of this summer, I thought Hargreaves was all they needed for next year :-P
  21. Please use the marketplace for all transactions :-)
  22. From what I've seen, Advance Wars Dual Strike is of fine quality ;-)
  23. Found an interesting article on Eduardo da Silva. http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport/2007/06/04/croatias_biggame_poacher_strik.html [hide] [/hide]
  24. raz, stow the language. We can see the point you're trying to get across, but if you use any more petty insults, you might give off the impression that Johnson plays for a four-letter club that starts with a 'c' and ends with a 't'... As for Arsenal, I don't think we can find a 'proven' finisher - that's not Wenger's style to recruit players we've heard of :-P. I think the boys will just have to develop that sense themselves - surely they give themselves enough practice already ;-).
