Im not sure on this, but isnt coal around 200ea atm? so I think coal is better than maples, unless you are getting fletching levels up, and want some junk for lending items ect...

I decided to solo the KBD, in veracs, bought it, used ROL, fury, d boots and regen brace, t-bird for familier, and I manged 1 kill one without using any ppot doses, so i can get around 3 kills/ trip (no visages yet :wall: !)

^^ agreed with above ^^ BUT If i was gonna do this... I think I would buy a few godswords, and put 1 of each into the party room, then post on fourms says that I am buying all, junk, nomatter how much, then put the junk in the p-room to annoy people, then I would buy 10 Xmas crackers (to pull with friends, and make em rich!), and a few buyable 99's! (prayer, crafting, smithing, fletching w/addy arrows, leveling them all to 99 on same day!)

this isn't to bad a guide! I have done a few quests without guides though, and I used almost the same stratgergy as you mentioned (dont forget about asking somone more intelligent than you, its what I did ;)

I wasnt there, I dont even know you, but congratz :D 99 crafting is one of the rarer 99's so its not that often that I hear about people getting!
