Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
Ok, I give up. :P Thank you for that valuable information! Hope the non-daemonheim dungeons come out tomorrow. All the dungeoneering updates should come today. Both the rings and the non-daemonheim dungeons seeing as there are 2 weeks left after this week in this month, one is going to be the clue scroll update and the other one is going to be this months rest week. Or the double xp weekend to fill the no-update week. Any news yet when this weekend is going to be?

RuneFest Tickets Sold Out & Venue Location
That still doesnt answer the question of why you would want a commemorative item for something you are not attending (even if its not by choice). Why do people only see it as a "commemorative item", it is a cool item to have wether or not you are going... On the runefest-website it was announced as followed: "Buying a ticket to RuneFest will entitle you to an exclusive free RuneScape item! This item will never be made available again, so the only way to get it is to make sure you get a ticket to RuneFest. The RuneFest Flag is a prestige item that players will be able to plant in the ground to show off - a feature that no other item in the game shares - as well as having lots of features like the ability to set off fireworks, sound triumphal horns, and loads more! You'll be able to collect this item before RuneFest itself, and it will continue to improve in the run-up to the event." Could you name me another item that sets off fireworks?

I wonder if the 'skiller class' raises skill lvls while dungeoneering. Would be great to take away the burden off making potions to boost over 99-stats to open skill doors.

RuneFest Tickets Sold Out & Venue Location
Are you joking? spending $75 to go to an epic, possibly one time only, runescape event and meeting the creators of the game that controls many of our lives is hardly asking too much. if money was really that much of a problem you could have just canceled your membership for a few months and gotten cash together. to call it "offensive" is a complete overstatement. according to your logic, Jagex is wrong to charge 5.95 a month for membership and give the "richest" people who can afford it a better game. The thing is... They didn't tell the exact location, they didn't even tell what was going to happen. 75 pounds (which is 113$ btw) is alot for some to pay in blind faith. + They promised an update "soon", which was over two months ago. That update was that tickets were sold out. Lol. Also: comparing membership, which pays for RS as a whole, to this event, which the surplus was meant to go to charity, is strange to say the least. Those "richest" people you talk about pay for everything and get the whole package, non-members pay nothing and get a free meal -> seems kinda fair. This event is paid by every member and only those who got fully refunded get the whole package, the rest is left with scratch. -> kinda unfair if you ask me

Rock climbing boots affecting RuneScape
I have some friends who will screenie it shortly. Just thought I would open up a whole new can of worms for you all to feast on. It's from their routine Pmod In-game meeting surgeries. Great. If they knew these figures beforehand, why did they let the update slip through. Talk about incompetence... And the whole coverup afterwards, good job lieing and deceiving. EDIT: where are the screenshots?

RuneFest Tickets Sold Out & Venue Location
This sums it up for me, thanks. If you bought a ticket solely for the flag you just got refunded and get the chance to sell off a ticket to a soldout event. <_<

Vuvuzelas in runescape ?

How many people have maxed out? Part 4
Thanks for the replies on the maxed out-forum issue. This really bugged me when dungeoneering got the cap of 120...

How many people have maxed out? Part 4
I was wondering the same thing about the 'maxed out'-forums... It seemed reachable one day with all 99's, not so with 120 dungeoneering  Nice list, good read. Ivy seems to have ruined woodcutting cape.

Celtic Knot Sliding Puzzles
Like too few challenges in this game are revloved around defeating monsters, including getting those clues in the first place. I do think it's a healty addition to have those kinds of games within the game, although i don't think they should be anything an average person with a few hours of practice shouldn't be able to do within ~10 minutes. Puzzle boxes now- a bit too easy, but going significantly harder than that would propably put quite a few people off from the start. You have to factor in that there aren't too many people around with the stats and skill to boss hunt in significant quantity while having the ability and the patience to solve a tough puzzle. Then again, if people like puzzles that much, why are they playing RS. They would rather play puzzle games then I thought...

Yes, actually. Though I only see one update they can screw up. That being TT, either they create a false hype, and the items aren't that great, or they create a glitch that gives you infinite items or something. Well... TT: - new items with high stats compared to the items ingame now, rendering the previous items +- useless. - high rarity for items who should really be widely accessible, only hoarders will benefit Quest: - a 5-minuter with incredibly lame story Dungeoneering exclusives: - extremely high dungeoneering lvl reqs, while the highest prestige/floor currently is 35 at lvl 69 dungeoneering, making it kinda pointless to grind the skill before batch 2 is released. I hope they take the right decisions though. lol

+1 That is why I keep a lvl 3 clue scroll banked, I hate them. (Well, that and the needed tt-gear you need sometimes to finish a clue. Takes alot of bank space) And take away the only decent reward from mobilising armies, leaving that minigame with nothing. I hope not. edit: or they could make the option to imbue these rings... I was kind off angry at first when the kingly-update came and introduced 'crowns', because I have a yellow partyhat and thought it would crash. But the graphics ain't the same + alot of people would like to buy a partyhat and can't afford it, so a crown is a good substitute for them. (replace phat with h'ween mask and crown with dragon mask for this update  ) Smart business move giving BTS in a no-update week, noone is complaining now. I can't see any updates I'm not looking forward to. Dungeoneering dungeons will give people something to do until batch 2 is released. (hopefully no insane dung req's for now, they should keep those until batch 2 is released) I wouldn't mind if they gave frost dragon to F2P, they should get rewarded for a high dung lvl too imo. Bit low on quests and I would like to have seen elite diaries, but all at its time, that is ok.

Will Jagex reply on Monday?
How do we know they are not lying to cover their asses? You don't. You never will. But if you really distrust the mgmt. that much, I have to wonder why you would want to keep playing. If they're telling the truth about checking the number of climbing boots on each account beforehand, why did they ask for players' names to gather evidence and to decide wheter to rollback or not. If they checked it before the update they would have known this after the update I think. That gets another definition, just like RWT got another definition with the flagstaff. It's all peace and cookies if you make your own rules.

Shark/brew thing and this update are the best evidence to prove Jagex-employees don't play this game on their free time. Shark/brew thing was known in all major pk-clans and clan wars-clans, they *found out* years after and even considered it a bug...

You fell in the same trap as I did, apparently it was a fake. Or an attempt to coverup the truth afterwards. Either way, it's fishy. because Jagex would try to cover it up if it's fake Wether it is true or fake, both are hurting Jagex' *ahem* good reputation.

Wouldn't that be 135 billion? Which I agree is still alot to be pumped into the economy in one day though... Are they going to blame BTS again now? IMO they need to hire a crisis manager to deal with these kind of situations in the future.

Tip.it Now Rated as Platinum Fansite!
Congratulations!!! So now that we have the platinum, can you be less strict about the rules again? This is the only and same complaint coming over and over again... Wooohooo!! Platinum!! *runs off to advertise Tip.It to fellow RS'ers*

True, it was apparently a fake. I, just as every corporation in the world, am not afraid to learn from my mistakes and make things right. I hope I did a great job in this too?

If this was the case, I see no reason why Mod Mark H was on forums asking to name players so he could investigate their account. These investigations would according to him be taken into account when they decided on a rollback or not. (this was prior to the decision not to rollback) That they didn't investigate this kind off stuff and the impact it would give beforehand shocks me... We can only estimate the numbers. 2 million members playing on and off? maybe 5 pair of climbing boots at average? 10 million climbing boots x 45.000 = 450 billion?

What..? 1) He is the man in charge covering up after a mess has been made. He has all the reason in the world to lie about such things. (BP anyone?) 2) If you're that sure about that why did he ask explicitly to name people who had alot of climbing boots. (like anyone would name themselves or a friend) Either he is lying or you're wrong. 3) Yes it would take ages to collect that many boots. But there are bots who collect this kind of stuff for you. Just like there are bots buying neitiznots. When people used these bots, some must have had tons.

He was asking around on forums to explicitly name people who had alot of climbing boots so he could check their individual accounts. Apparently that is the only way they can tell how many climbing boots there are ingame. I asked if he could check how many were ready to be sold in GE. He responded the most one guy was selling in GE was 3.6k. This happend 2 hours after the update. - most people were expecting a rollback and let their climbing boots in their bank - others were panicing and began to alch them - others sold to the shop for lesser profit - most people weren't on at that time to renew their offers I wondered why he only named the maximum one person had in GE instead of giving a total number of climbing boots in GE. -> my guess is that must have been a huuuuuuuge number.

Pkers quit generally speaking sooner then? As rares can only go from one owner to another.
