gear doesnt help much IMO. after basic dhide+neit+rune def+whip, the only buyable upgrades are karils (doesnt help much if your good at switching), and things like a fury. Your best way to spend that money would be to invest in some chins and get that range level up, then power melee at AZs.

technically incorrect, they nerfed dragon armour lumps from TDs in January 2009, but it was in patch notes. And assuming you mean solo, its probably worth it.

A speed 6 weapon hits once ever 2.4 seconds, where as a speed 4 weapon hits once every 3.6 seconds. On task, with 99 strength, piety, super strength potions, and a strength bonus of +107, a zamorakian spear maxes at 473, giving it a theoretical DPS of 197.08. On task, with 99 strength, piety, super strength potions, and a strength bonus of +87, a leafbladed sword maxes at 418, giving it a theoretical DPS of 174.2. On task, with 99 strength, piety, super strength potions, and a strength bonus of +122, a Dragon battle axe maxes at 514, giving it a theoretical DPS of 142.77. There is an 11.61% difference in theoretical DPS between the ZS+LBS. There is a 27.56% difference in theoretical DPS between the ZS+DBA. LBS+rune def has a accuracy bonus +87 stab. ZS has an accuracy bonus of +85 stab and +65 crush. DBA+rune defender has an accuracy bonus of +83 crush. In order for LBS+r def to beat a ZS, you need to hit 0s with the ZS 88.39% of the time. You should elaborate. you said LBS+rune def is preferable because its more accurate, then you said DBA+rune def was preferable because you like higher hits. Also 10% higher damage does not compensate for the 50% slower speed of a DBA, making it lower DPS.

it appears we have found the kind of person the constitution update was geared towards! sorry to break it to you but, higher hits=/=higher DPS, also that argument combined with your argument for LBS+r def contradict each other.

When I use mining brawlers I just go to the coal spot at like level 10 wildy. I wear black d'hide, neitz helm, brawlers, don't really need anything else as it's really easy to escape PKers. thats what I did too (see video), I wanted to try out iron @ hobgob mine banking it to get an accurate count though. edit: I just tried out dorgesh, it seems slower then adv gnome without brawlers, even with brawlers. I think wilderness is definitely better.

well I decided I cba to write my own guide so I'll just feed you data/pics/vids :D mining: gear/invent setup: agile legs are substitutable with black d'hide chaps, skillcape with a cape of legends, and skills necklace with a glory. starting xp: 1042023 ending xp: 1099118 almost entire iron. 394 ores+2 gems. I dunno if gems count.

Im mostly this except i think im more Nostalgic Old-school player EVERYTHING was better back in the day. People were nicer, game was funner, etc etc etc. Nevermind the terrible graphics, the broken gameplay and the community that was even WORSE then it is now. These types of players will overlook any bad stuff just because they want to prove that it was better back then also your opinion is invalid if you think otherwise. I think Runescape more then any other game is flooded with these guys the community was undoubtedly MUCH better in the past. I started in 04, looking back on it the community is more nicer and more alive now then it was then. I dunno if you were referring to early rs classic but since rs2, at least in my own personal experience I have dealed with less [wagon], less noobs, less just all players i dont want to be around then ever before. Also a lot of the scammers arent around anymore. Maybe theres more elitists now, i dunno i dont exactly run into them often. Clan Chats bring more people together then ever before. Also Jagex allowing fansites after years of fighting them was a major plus for the community. But in my personal experience the games community is improving instead of declining. I would say clanchats were the single biggest cause of loss of community. Rather then going DKs with my freinds now, I can be slaying one of them can be soloing tds and one can be chilling at the GE and we can all talk. Theres more 12 yearolds now, the "miniclip generation." There are many more [wagon] now, and while scammers have decreased due to the trade updates, overall the community is in decline.
