I'm pretty sure its more efficient per invent space too if you don't need prayer. (3 brews+1 rest=1680 and ~100 prayer, 4 summoning pots=240 spec bar 240/20=12x148=1776+natural regeneration rate)

In over 5k chest I have seen a 1/12.6 rate. I've had back to back double chests, and a 460 chest drystreak. It's all luck.
