actualy ranged slayer is not totally pointless. As you can max melee with slayer and still not have 99, ranged is useful here. Tasks like nechs, DKs, and bloodveld's also compete with chins in terms of xp. I cant see your slayer level, but if its 80+ you may want to check out bladewing's guide to chinning nechs in general guides.

after jagex's last attempt at a RTS minigame I'd rather they left them alone for awhile.

I prefer to value my time high, rather then low. I figure if I try I can make 1.5m p/h at DKs and TDs, without herb farming+dailies, 2m p/h with. While most of my money making time isnt spent at DKs/TDs I use these for sake of simplicity. As I said in our PM conversation grow better herbs, and work on getting a better connection. Although I don't see how connection could be THAT big of a factor seeing as I get ~500 ping on one of my computers, and still manage to make well over 1m p/h.

If you have a decent (90+) defense level and a unicorn you can tank irons, but otherwise I agree with L0rd. zs>whip>lbs>dlong>dscim

so true. Happens all the time, item x is worth 10m and starts crashing. Despite the fact that it will obviously never reach 1m, people begin selling it for 500k-1m out of fear, lowering the price further.

I get heated over it because PvP is a major part of my RS playstyle, and I think this (the OP's suggestion) would do the opposite of help. Your ideas decent although it would mess with PvM. It wouldnt make zerker pures overpowered because if they are in void they risk their whip. The low def of their armor and their stats balances out the power they gain so nothing is imbalanced. risking a whip isnt as much risk as you seem to think. Most zerker pures I know (actually the only one I know well is lvl 56 n00b and hes not zerker anymore), have no problem with risking a whip. It helps them more then say a range tank because their armor has low defense to begin with. Lol famous people with vids are generally rich compared to 95% of other players in their category. I don't get what your second statement is saying. Range has much less def bonus than meleers. not generally. Also most higher level pkers can make 2m+ per hour and have 100m+ banks. If your tanking right in ranged, you should have higher defense bonuses then a meleer with comparable risk. DFS+T legs+T helm+black d'hide body beats rune+whip+defender hands down. EDIT: 56 is famous? I know about him. Tanking doesn't win fights. Ko power does. High lvl pkers don't use void, they use vesta's if they want damage. and as I stated earlier ko power means nothing if your constantly eating. A mix of defense, accuracy, a KO potential would. Void is moderatly high in two of these things and low in the other. You should never be constantly eating, not even 99 range with a fast weapon like knives can make zerkers or pures constantly eat. Eventually they will hit low damage and you can take the offensive making your point obsolete. with 99 defense and max defense gear I've been combo'd to death many a time, even without specials. Low defense would only increase this chance. Sure, youll surrive the first 3 hits shark->brewing but after that? your pretty screwed.

dont even bother with a tortise to bank. Its like 15 seconds with a ring of dueling.

Get veng and risk high in non +1 I'd reccomend torags legs+helm black dhide body glory accumulator rcbow+ss/hand cannon snakeskinboots and barrows gloves. Use onyx and dragonstone bolts use brews insted of super defs, range pot 2 supper rests bolts veng casts and rest rocktails. Use eagle eye steelskin and rapid heal.

I belive miscellanea updates 24 hours after you last put money into it. for example if I put money into it at 6:00 today, it would be done at 6:00 tomarrow. If I took the money back out, and put it back in at 7:00 it would be done at 7:00 the following day.

I would say that if this was implemented, moderation should be left to clan chat officials. When activating voice chat you would receive a message saying that you could potentially hear offensive things and that jagex bears no responsibility blahblahblah. After that all moderation would be left up to clan chat officials, who could have the option to temp/perm mute people from voice chat, and individuals would have a separate ignore list for voice chat. Could be turned off throughout a CC or set to ranks only. Could also have a option to listen or to listen and to talk.
