True Ownage v THE Clan ___________________ THE approached us for a couple of rounds of Matched Opts fights and we happily accepted, hoping to put a recent bad war between us far in the past. The rules were as follows: 2 Rounds of Matched Opts, CWA Classic | Center Bounds, R1: All styles, R2: M/B/R, Corrupt Items not allowed, Dungeoneering Items allowed, Rings allowed, Date negotiated: Friday 21st January, Time negotiated: 5:00 PM EST. ___________________ Round 1 We pulled an average 23 and walked to CWA determined to win. True Ownage Starting: 23 (dropped to 19) THE Clan's Starting: 19 ___________________ We started off attacking with a new tactic, helping us to get a half kill lead. With strong tanking and good leading, we were able to stretch our lead out as the war progressed, eventually winning with a 12 person margin. We also had a DC. True Ownage Ending: 12 THE Clan's Ending: 0 ___________________ Round 2 We gained one for Round 2 and geared appropriately. True Ownage Starting: 24 (dropped to 19) THE Clan's Starting: 19 ___________________ This time we knew THE would really like to win, and knowing Melee, Binds and Ranged is our strong point we had some confidence also. THE attacked and piled Vornollo who did an excellent job tanking. He helped us open up an early lead, which quickly became a 2 man lead. Despite THE doing well in keeping up, we managed to extend our lead and win by the same margin as Round 1. We also had a DC in this round (Hi Leah <3: ) True Ownage Ending: 12 The Clan's Ending: 0 ___________________ Random Picture of the Fight ___________________ Thanks for the fights THE, I'm glad they were both extremely clean and we'd love to war you soon again as I can imagine a clan with your history is bound to have players coming back for the Wilderness return. - Jack

Written by Warria06, thank you for the 2 rounds my favourite team. - Jack

Rushing when you're meant to defend is probably what gave you the early lead - thus having a big impact on the ending result. I expect there'll be some sort of consequence, however we'll just have to wait and see. For now - grats AK and good job WG recovering like you did.

The CJ tournament is still going on, and we've had the TICT, followed by Clan Europe's tournament so it's been a busy end to 2010 for clans. When CJ finishes, if we don't see improved activity then actions need to be taken. I see so many clans who are on TWR war each other, but don't set it up as a TWR war. This is the main problem TWR has. My clan is guilty of it too - don't think I'm critisizing all TWR clans here. But why? I honestly have a couple of ideas of why this is happening and how we can fix it, but I think it's better to be discussed between Clan Officials before it's considered by everyone else. The TWR clans have the right activity...they're just not TWR wars. As for PVP - it's the main reason I can imagine why top clans don't come. The top clans never cared about RSC because to them the Rankings never reflected the true rankings of clans in the clan world. It does need more encouragement. With the old wilderness coming back, there should be set rules and extra rewards for PVP warring. I even think there should be House Rules for PVP with wildy coming back - once again a discussion officials need to have. We're also forgetting about one thing. There's a LOT of small clans out there who could join. True Ownage was a small, unknown clan when we joined. So was Downfall, Legendz, Envy and I could list more. Most of the old smaller clans have gained some sort of reputation - and the same could be done in the next generation of smaller clans who join TWR. If TWR is looking for activity - surely we have more chance in getting 10 small clans to join rather than 10 big clans. BUT, saying that, the standards would drop and I do agree that RSC is particularly poor because of it's negative atmosphere. Adr1an is right, we should take advantage, but it's difficult to cater to top clans as they have no care in the world (for the most part) about us smaller clans and therefore you can imagine all the complaints about activity prevails, even though taking that away TWR would turn into the same format as RAW and end up in the same place - the graveyard. So yeah, I'd say wait until after CJ (which is why I haven't replied in Conclave) before we jump to conclusions. If I have anything else constructive to say I'll probably bring in up in the Conclave.

Fools. Downfall or Envy?

We did well, it was very messy to begin with but extremely fun. Thanks for the fight.

So the images are pretty useless. Cool I guess. No, not at all - using multiple ones may stretch the boundaries but you can use at least one easily :) Thanks Jack and Pieter for putting this together, really nice to see non-staff taking initiative in this way. Congrats to everyone who won! Sorry about that - I wanted to incorportate the Tip.It logo into the signature. That's what made up most of the file size. :-|

Awesome job Downies. <3:

True Ownage v Perception ___________________ After seeing Perception pull 24 against UK, Leah set up a PKRI with King Soulja and agreed on the following rules. 30 Minute Capped PKRI, Spiders to East Tree, Melee, Binds and Ranged allowed, Corrupt Items not allowed, Rings allowed, Higher pull attacks, Ending at member's gate, Date negotiated: Thursday 6th January, Time negotiated: 4:45 PM EST. ___________________ We outpulled Perception by a couple and got ready to attack. True Ownage Starting: 60 opts Perception Starting: 48 opts ___________________ We rushed in and Minnie tanked an early 3 kill lead for us, basically giving us full control of the war. Perception tried to keep up but the number difference proved to be too much - leading to them regrouping half way into the cap. The rest of the cap we spent more time looking for Perception's pile than actually piling them, but there wasn't much they could do. Before the cap ended Perception regrouped at RDG with about 21 opts and as the cap ended we had an immediate 57 fallen in. Not realising Perception were still at RDG we waited at MG for a few minutes and in that time Perception gained a few people. The win was never in question, thanks for the fight Perception. True Ownage Ending: 57 opts - immediate (2 people logging in, 1 north in the ending pic) Perception Ending: 27 opts - 4 minutes after the cap ended ___________________ Random Picture of the Fight ___________________ Cheers for the fight, was our 2nd ever PKRI just like for you, rule breaking was very minor if there was any and it was lovely and clean. Much appreciated. :) Thanks Downfall for the AC! - Jack

Yeah, cause no one here does that. I personally think it's very cool that he's stuck around for so long.. and this topic has more merit than others in this forum. And I also notice that the few resentment comments are coming from the people who are rather new to RS or the clanning world. If you're going to call it bragging (which I really see no hint of in his posts), why can't we call your post jealousy? Let him have his moment - nothing wrong with it. It's good for his clan that he's stuck around so long but I'm sure there are other individuals who've been around a long time too who wouldn't dream of posting a topic like this, especially in CD. I don't see how you can say this has more merit than others in this forum, THE Clan posting an anniversary here in CD is okay because they're a clan. However, this fine RuneScape player is an individual, and I'm sure there's a Goal and Achievements forum somewhere on these forums for him to post in. Not going to reply or post again, as I don't want to ruin the topic any more than it's probably been ruined. Great achievement Rafi, but if people didn't speak their minds this would be a boring, boring forum. Congrats and good luck on 126? :P

Hey everybody, So a while ago in the Conclave we discussed a possible yearly awards post to award the clans who have had a very good year and who relate themselves to these forums. 2010 brought bigger and stronger clans to the TWR, and helped re-enforce the competition and now TWR could have several different clans who are strong enough and experienced enough to fight for the #1 spot. It's a shame that this year amongst the bigger clans the fight has been taken out of the game onto a large scale, with denial of service attacks on clan forums, clan teamspeaks and apparantly now on JaGeX worlds themselves. It's great to see that no clans who are active on these forums participate in such destruction of our clan world, despite many clans this year making a name for themselves in PVP warring. It's been a bad year for the clan world in general, but this is a rare time where we can all sit back and reflect on what's happened here on these very forums and know that most of us here have grown stronger and had a good year. Anyway, I have the results of the Clan Awards for 2010. This year there were a few different awards; with a couple of Team awards added into the mix due to the impact they've had on the clan scene last year, alongside a few TWR awards. Before I go on, I'd like everyone to recognise the fact that these awards wouldn't have taken place without Pieter_00777. He's done a lot to make sure that we have these awards and on behalf of everyone I'd like to say thank you for all your hard work Pieter. Without further ado - the results. All signatures were made by yours truely, if I got your clan colour wrong I apologize massively - I'll be happy to change the colour of the award if I am mistaken. I'm sorry that the results are up several days after the deadline - this is my fault due to...well you don't need to know the details! Enough talk: Best Matched Opts Clan Best Warring Clan Best Country Clan Most Friendly Clan Most Organized Clan TWR Rookie of the Year TWR Most Active Clan Most Potential for 2011 Most Improved of 2010 Most Respected Clan Best Clan Signatures Most Underrated Clan Best Overall Warring Team Most Friendly Team Friendliest Clan Official Most Respected Clan Official Most Intelligent Poster Best Clan Discussion Contributor Best TIF Clan Moderator Best Personal Signature And that sums up 2010's awards! Congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everybody who voted and also to Pieter who constructed so much of these awards. On a personal note - thank you to anybody who voted for me or my clan. The votes were counted by Pieter - if anybody has any suspicions about the final results feel free to PM him and he'll let you know the scoring for the award in question. We both tried to put on the best awards we could between us and I think we've done an alright job. Enjoy and Happy New Year! I hope you all have a prosperous year, best wishes from me and True Ownage. - Jack PS: Usually when I post a topic there tends to be a small mistake...apologies in advance if you spot any... :D
