Which hurts the OP if they have no way to tell which advice is good and which is bad. Edit: Arguing with idiots on the internet isn't fun for anybody, but since there is no quality control in H&A, it has to be done. If it isn't then there is a chance that the OP of the question will go with the bad advice. Solution to arguments in H&A; knowledgeable, trustworthy people be given the power to hide posts that offer bad advice to step into an argument and make it clear that bad advice is bad. I can tell that some mods Quyneax are tempted to do this at times but cannot because it is not an official policy.

It's not the best money, only mediocre, it costs more then that much per trip and drops are worth more then enough to cover those costs. Also inb4move

Well the very best would be to learn how to melee the caves. Guthans is overkill for healing if you are good at sidestepping, SGS/EE should be fine. It's all about luring, sidestepping and correct prayers. The caves can be done without any food at all. I suggest go all out melee, learn how to do it properly, and don't worry as much about food as it shouldn't be a big issue unless you mess up a lot. Jad shouldn't take much food, you should be prayer swapping versus him. Otherwise he will likely KO you.

Frost Dragons or TDS. Make sure to farm herbs on the side. TDS might be nice for the effigy/charm drops but frost dragons have more consistent profit.

Then really, doing as many quests as you can would likely be most beneficial and least boring to you. Here is a list of the quests that give strength exp.. 100 - The Blood Pact 600 - In Search of the Myreque 2,000 - In Aid of the Myreque 2,500 - Tai Bwo Wannai Trio 2,812 - The Fremennik Trials 3,000 - Land of the Goblins 3,075 - Heroes Quest 4,000 - Troll Romance 4,662.5 - Horror from the Deep 5,000 - TokTz-Ket-Dill 6,625 - Scorpion Catcher 9,000 - The Curse Of Arrav 10,000 - The Fremennik Isles (can be doubled) 10,000 - Roving Elves 13,750 - Waterfall Quest 18,650 - Dragon Slayer 20,000 - Fremennik isles 20,000 - The Chosen Commander 20,000 or 35,000 (optional when you speak to Daero) - Monkey Madness 22,000 - Haunted Mine 30,000 - The Path of Glouphrie 30,000 - Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf 55,000 - King of the Dwarves Over 300k exp total right there. So to summarize, train on undead with salve (e) which is an amulet gained from the haunted mine quest and tarns lair miniquests, take breaks to do strength exp quests or play pest control/soul wars. It shouldn't take very long at all.

Unless you are ever on ancients or lunar in which case a lumby portal never hurt anyone.

I was under the impression that the biggest influence was the stats of whatever weapon you were wielding. That being said I'm not sure about the slayer helm but my guess is no.

A tick is just .6 seconds. It is the unit of time that Runescape is coded for. That being said, of course the two take different numbers of ticks, because they take different amounts of time. As to WHY they take different amounts of time, I imagine it was coded that way for balance.

Just one question, did you make it to Jad in either of those attempts? What specifically stopped you?

You do, but it doesn't use arrows, it works for ammo like the crystal bow but degrades like barrows. So that being said it is cheaper per shot then Karils and Handcannon, which is ironic because it has lower DPS. to clarify, it degrades like a chaotic. barrows was a pre-tower of life update, as is crystal bow. In which case there is a separate compartment where the data of the degradation value is stored. Post-tower of life items such as dragonfire shields, chaotic weapons, effigies, etc. Have their data stored on the individual item. A 75% degraded barrows item, will stack with another similar 75% degraded barrows item in the bank. Dragonfire shields, chaotic items, effigies, etc. will not. As they are a post-tower of life item. Good to know, any clue as to what exactly about that update caused them to chance the mechanic for degrading items? Edit: I'm curious now and you're the most likely person to know.

If you get bored easily then go to soul wars or pest control. Otherwise slayer is okay.

It is the best helm for slayer, that being said if you design your task for power slaying it isn't that useful. I would still get it though.

True, but it's not going to fall so much as to make up for the price of arrows. That will never happen. Hmm, Is there any way you can alch and range or something like that? Is there any two skills that you can combine with ranging? (similar to the low alching when barb fishing) Chinning nechs gives range exp, hp exp, low prayer exp (urns) and very decent crimson charms. It also breaks even or profits depending on your luck. Bladewing had an awesome guide before he got banned, it might still be somewhere in the AoW. You can also skill (alching/fletching) while you cannon but I don't see why you would. What skill(s) do you have in mind?

Chipped Taverley housetabs are faster then walking for getting back to the dungeon. In the long term they will result in more profit.

Ezkaton -- what exactly is keeping you from getting the Soul Wars cape itself? Is it the "questing" or the battle against Nomad? :unsure: In the OP he says it is because of the time investment into getting the skill requirements for the quest as well as the potential difficulties of the boss fight. The price will fall, right now it is just a status item. It will take time, but it will fall.

The sheets are back up! Check the link in my siggy, it's their new home. Edit: Attacks should be made because if we approximate your income they are the best balance between cost and time. They are both important factors because if something takes too much time it becomes more costly to do (time=money). The Grimy sheets take both factors into account and give each potion an "efficiency ratio" which is a measure of how well it balances speed and expense. If you give us your maximum income/hour I can tell you for sure the very best potion to make.

DGS generally does floors 30+. If you can do any of these I suggest that you do them with DGS. That means you can start well before level 70, it might just be harder to find people hosting the floors you need. Also, if getting those skills up are all that's preventing you from getting a sw cape then by all means, level them up. After all, someday you may decide to stop using the cape, but at least those skill levels will be yours forever. You will likely kill Nomad on your first try so don't worry about that cost. Bandos/torso + sw cape > fire cape + prossy top
