If by magic armour, you mean don't like your magic bonus go below NEGATIVE 10..... None of the barrow brothers have any mage def whatsoever. Even Karil, who wears one of the best magic defense armours in the game, is extremely weak to mage because he has lvl 1 magic. I was hitting fine when experimenting with black sally at -25ish. I just burst with SOL and ahrim top/v skirt now. Much easier and always end up with more runes than started with(except waters).

It's not common knowledge that defender>DFS? :-? no, it is but its also common knowledge that the majority of humanity is [developmentally delayed]ed/lacks any common sense/knowledge/etc therefore it is fair to assume the majority of the rs population is as well we also know that the majority of the rs population is 11-14 year olds who have a higher percentage of [developmentally delayed]ation/lacking common sense/etc compared to humanity as a whole and thus we can conclude that even though it should be common knowledge dfs< defender this is not true if that makes any sense Somebody sure is on their high horse. When most people play video games/go out to have fun - they go for the most efficient right? They always think of saving the most time? Some people do. We don't all have fun in the same way. Before you try to twist that, understand that putting on a defender instead of a dfs is in no way requiring more effort or attention. If you're going to get 99 slayer though, or even anything else remotely high, those 2 minutes add up to a dozen or so hours, which most would rather be spending on other skills/mhing. What you call a couple minutes on a slayer task, a person going for 99 slayer calls a couple hours with the amount of tasks done. I honestly don't know anyone who would give up a huge bonus while slaying just to wear a party hat. You won't get trolled if you don't have the cash for something like Bandos, and are instead going for the next best thing like verac w/ prossy. It's the people who buy useless pieces of crap like the DFS when there are better, cheaper options that get trolled/flamed/whatever you like to call it.
