While superheating at SW everybody just calls you a bot. Playing on my crappy laptop I lag every time I try to type in the game so someone will accuse me of being a bot and I won't reply because I know it makes me lag. Very irritating and annoying. I would put this trend down to what I put most trends down to: The vast majority of the worlds population are idiots.

I say its 288 and so does Wolfram Alpha : http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=48%2F2%289%2B3%29

I was quite interested in this topic so looked up a RWT trading site to see just how expensive it is. Back in 05 when I was a noob I did consider RWT but didn't because I was convinced that I would just get scammed. The prices I just checked now are £0.5 a million. I could earn £5 an hour in a minimum wage job e.g: 10mil an hour quite a good moneymaker :P Then again you risk being banned and considering the amount of time I have put into this account it is really, really not worth that risk.

Right well mounted glory is a piece of furniture in your house in I think the quest hall but could be somewhere else. You mount a glory on the wall and it provides unlimited glory teleports when using it. So with that and portals tabbing to your house can give you access to teleports to a lot of places around RS. Stealing creation is a minigame where you gain points by gathering sacred clay I'm sure Tip.it has a guide somewhere. The points can be spent on proto-tools which give you double xp in certain skills until they run out. E.g: Construction, smithing, fletching, fishing and there is even combat armour.

Well mahogany tables sounds fine in terms of levelling. You could always get some stealing creation hammers to speed it up a bit - thats if you like stealing creation. You may as well get some experience from the stuff that you want to have in your house. Although it won't be much making the rooms you like and things you need could get you a bit of experience. So making sure you have all the portals and mounted glory etc.. I can't really offer much more advice construction is basically fast and quite easy albeit expensive.

Yeh Thanks for the advice guys taken it on board added all the stuff you suggested up with the quests I'd already identified and it doesn't look as if it will take too long. Thanks Nifflin I am slowly working towards WGS just very slowly :)

Guthans can be kinda useful at barrows.

Right well I need 176 quest points to get my barrows gloves and I'm only on 124 so basically are there any fun and particularly needed lot of quests that I should know about that I might not have thought about. Now obviously I can't list every quest I've done but to give you an idea I've done every quest needed for RFD. And all the fremmenik ones bar Blood Runs Deep which I will hopefully do soon. So I know this is a bit of a difficult question but any suggestions taken kindly. I've also been away for about 11 months so I've missed a few.

I think theres a CC called 'hornblowers' that specialise in filling penance horns but I'm not sure they still exist. I know of a few BA clans who play very well but they can be a bit snobby towards horn fillers and not necessarily play in the way that is best for filing your horn.

I saw a guy at castle wars yesterday called 'runescape' .

Verac's works reasonably well.

Fighter torso can be incredibly quick to get if you enjoy and are good at the minigame. Even the first one isn't that hard I would say my first took 4 hours if a BCP is 20mil I'd need to be earning 5mil and hour which I can just about do if I really try and you may well be able to earn much more. However it is not necessarily the case that everyone can earn the money for a BCP that fast. When I got my first torso I had never seen 20mil!

I hope you understand that barrows last for 10 hours of combat it does not just suddenly break. I assume you do but just clarifying. DO NOT buy the dragon platebody whatever you do it is a complete waste of money. Also what monster do you need this defence against? Because for most things you will only need barrows bottoms and a fighter torso for perfectly adequete defence.

Regarding that I would need a unicorn. If I bursted/barraged lobs to say level 96 from 85 how many charms would I get/what level in summoning would I get?

Right well I've finally managed to get the hang of this flipping malarky and along with barrows I'm managing to slowly amass a nice cash pile. Finally got myself 70 prayer :) Anyway to point: I wish to train my mage level fairly high (94+) and I am wondering about the best way to do this and the amount of time each stage will take and how much it will cost. So my current plan is: - Superheat gold ore with goldsmithing gauntlets until I have 70 smithing required for 'The Void Stares Back' - I think this should get me about 80 Mage although this could be off. - Once 80 mage is achieved string amulets until about 85. - How much does this cost? - Do the amulets actually sell at all well? - From 85 onwards I will burst rock lobs and ape atoll skeletons switching between the two as to not get too insanely bored. Probably starting at Ape Atoll for the faster experience and moving on to Rock Lobs with a higher mage level. How does this sound? Range: 95+ - Get 80 doing slayer and other things utilising my cannon on some tasks. - At 80 move on to chins at Ape Atoll. Do I really need void for this ? Or will a high mage attack suffice ? How long does void take on the veterans boat? So basically I want these starts partly because I find the skills useful and I have always wanted to train them but one slight other thing was the possibility of duo Arma with 95 + ranged and 94+ Mage what sort of Defence level would I need ? Are these stats good enough to do it? I don't mind if I'm not the most efficient Armadyl killer ever - however is this another one of those ' Theres no point unless you have have Turmoil, Overloads a Packyak and Chaotics' ? Slightly rambling I know anyway thanks for the help guys.

Barbarian Assault Addicts was once a member now just a hanger on :P

I used to be seriously into BA before the horn came out and still live in a clan chat devoted to it. So what I'm saying here is taken from what people there say and I don't necessarily claim its 100% accurate the full master horn will last about 600k experience. Also you should find a cc dedicated to horn filling rather than just BA as to fill your horn the quickest it is suggested you do waves 1 - 6 repeatedly and very fast. Really shouldn't take long with a good team.

So basically I want 70 smithing for 'The Void Stares Back' and I don't know how to go about it. My impression was that smithing is very expensive and to be honest I'd rather train prayer with my money. However I heard some kid going on about how you can get 99 smithing for 10m (TROLL?). Anyway whats the best method to level up smithing from 55 (that won't break my bank)?
-
Title says it all comment here if you wish to sell. Thanks :)
-
Get 80 attack and defence, level up to 99 strength get 94 mage and 70 prayer and become a Torva - Chaotic pure.
-
Darts or knives for jack - best d'hide - best amulet and range boosting gear - range potions. Void if you've got it shouldn't take long at yaks really.
-
Slayer might not be that great to begin with but you'll soon move on to creatures which are much more fun to kill and also get much nicer drops. Like most things in runescape you really have to stick with it for a while before its worth it. Otherwise with your stats you could kill Ankou in the security stronghold which are decent xp and can yield about 100 - 150k gp an hour.
-
Thanks for that advice seems quite sound. Anyone else know about the other two?
-
Right some slightly random questions I could so with some help on, thanks: 1) How hard is the Pest Mother in "The Void Stares Back" to kill? What sort of stats and gear do I need to be able to do this? How hard is Nomad to kill (again what stats and gear are needed)? 2) Recently I have been experiencing some lag on runescape not particularly bad but enough to inhibit some of my gameplay. I was just wandering what this was down to? My internet connection is about 7mb which I would have though fine for playing runescape. Could the lag be produced by my browser (internet explorer) or just the slightly old laptop that I'm using at the moment? Sorry if any of thats dumb I'm not really that in to that side of computers? Although -> How does RS now order the people on its worlds for who has the fastest click. I used to play castle wars a LOT and it was common knowledge then that you were assigned a position within in the world depending on your the last two parts of your IP address (please don't tell me this is wrong I have much personal experience of it working) is there a new system whereby it is decided on who is ordered where on the world or is it just randomly generated when you log in? (Don't feel you have to answer this second slightly rambling question.) 3) What would a better use of my saved up 20mil: Buying a fury? Buying the bones for 75ish prayer? Considering my current prayer level is 65 and my general activities are Barrows and slayer. Thanks guys and girls (though I doubt it.) EDIT: By the way the detail I play on seems to make no difference to the lag I experience.
