Thanks everyone for the help I've decided to go for prayer, partly cos I think its a nicer skill and also the arguments put forwards for it seem better. I will be using fdbones I think as the time saved is well worth the extra cost in my opinion.

To above your KC is now counted seperately to the brothers you've killed. You may as well give barrows a go I'm not sure if at your levels meleeing or maging is more efficient. Don't waste time on your kc but don't specifically try and get 0 if you need to kill something do it. Qeltar's list of moneymakers puts barrows with max setup at 800k an hour - I think these are still linked to GE prices but not 100% sure.

Right well I have an urge to spend my bank on one of these skills as they are plugged as some of the most useful. My bank is currently worth 250m So should I spend roughly the 195m I will need to get 95 prayer from 70 with frost dragon bones and leave 50ish for gear. Or should I spend the money on herblore? I don't really know what herblore level this would get me or the best way to level herblore. I will not go above 96! What I want to do in the future: I will slay till I have maxed melee stats and the move onto any boss hunting that I can. My current combat stats are 80 attack,defence and strength. 75 range, 80 mage and 70 prayer along with 42 summon!!! Anyway thanks for your advice in advance..

Well thanks for the advice guys went quite well I died on Jad but got much better at side stepping and should be able to go a lot smoother and quicker next time. I'm a bit annoyed as my mouse literally missed the button rather than missing a prayer switch but ah well will be better next time :D

Ok right so what should my invent look like in terms of brews, restores and prayer pots?

In regards to weapons would I use a whip with d def as my weapon set up or a more powerful weapon e.g: godsword. Only reason I would think godsword is that sidestepping the 360's means that as you are reattacking everytime the weapon speed doesn't make so much of a difference am I right here or am I wrong?

Basically I wasn't trying very hard and it was the 360's that fluffed my attempts I was sidestepping them but messed up and the sgs healing wasn't really doing enough and I was running low on brews so I didn't really think it was worth carrying on that much further as I wouldn't be able to do Jad with the resources I had left. My second attempt I got to wave 52. This was really one of my main points should I just use brews to heal in which case how many should I take or do I need an EE/SGS/Guthans to help me out? And also to Quyneax I'd be perfectly prepared to buy bandos to do the caves but would probably sell it afterwards as although I'm sure it will increase my damage output but right now as my bank isn't massive 120m ish I would rather spend the 40 odd mill bandos costs on training herblore, prayer and other skills that will enable me to make more cash later on - the thing about the SGS its not mine its a friends but he can loan it to me for 24 hours if I ever want it so I can't sell that to buy bandos otherwise I would :)

Well I'd always been told that range was the best method to use but recently I have been hearing a lot of people who sound very keen on meleeing the caves even at slightly lower combat levels. As far as I understand this involves killing everything with melee normally and sidestepping the 360's. I have tried the caves twice and found sidestepping the 360's slightly difficult and took two pretty nasty hits 300+ however I'm sure I can improve with more practice if its worth it. However I was thinking about meleeing everything and then swapping to range for the 360's and Jad - sensible? Also do I need an EE or EEE (not going to get the herb level for that very soon) to melee effectively or will an sgs/guthans do? Right my levels are: 80 attack, 81 stength, 80 defence, 83 hitpoints, 75 range - will get this higher if needed. So if it would be sensible to melee the caves what would my setup and inventory be. As regards to gear I already posses I have a whip guthans and veracs barrows sets a sgs that I can have on longterm loan from a friend. Fury and zerker + 20m I'm prepared to spend on gear. Anyway slightly rambling post I'm sorry but all help is appreciated.

You do get more points for the more eggs you collect. You lose no points for killing the runners with the cannon in fact you may gain points if it stops a runner getting past. As to the last one I'm afraid I don't know but I would presume the amount of potential gained is based on your performance on that wave and you don't simply gain experience from doing the same wave horrendously. But as I said I don't know, sorry.

Yeh it takes out 10% of your cash to a max of 750k a day so make sure you have atleast 750k in your coffers everyday. So basically 750k + 75k extra for every day you leave it. I have heard (indeed I am currently using) that 9 on maple and 6 on coal is currently the most profitable because of the drop in herb prices but I may be wrong.

Mmm save your charms till they are worth more experience. Get your summoning up with quest rewards and tears of guthix.

Because I play on two computers. One of which is a desktop on which I interact with other players kill monster and do the risky things. I also have a crappy old laptop which lags too much to do those things but is capable of boring things like superheating or training fletching/herblore.
