Well I'm currently working towards full elite void and the deflector along with it. I gave conquest a go today and I wasn't great at it - I was wondering is there a guide and tactics that I should follow or do people just do matches and then resign for ranks or what? Also how long does 250 conquest ranks take to gain and also how many commendations would I get over this time? Thanks for your help.

Personally I would go with the chaotic crossbow for the time being and stick with ancient curses for the small difference deflects makes. This is really just gut feeling though, I don't know the maths.

I don't have a link but you should check out FanFiction its a website devoted to amateurs writing their own versions of popular stories from tv and novels. It can be reasonably good and with better stats than yours is 1.5m/hr + however with your slightly lower stats it is probably not as gooder money as green dragons or mort myre fungi. Having said that if you get lucky with a karil's top, dharok's helm or ahrim's skirt it can give you a nice amount of gp in one go which gives a big boost to someone of your levels. Basically if you fancy some fun and want to try your luck then have a go at barrows there are plenty of good guides out there which will help you out a lot on the other hand if your looking for fast and efficient money I would not necessarily suggest barrows.

Chinning nechs although awesome is not as fast range xp so that is another thing to consider.

As far as I can remember you in fact need level 45 herblore for the legends quest however you can boost from 43. You boost from 43 using Greenman (M) ale which again irc is about 50k.. The money you will spend on the boost is probably equivalent to about what 34 - 45 costs if you just do it buying the cheapest experience you can.

I know it doesn't seem to be anywhere near but I would be so tempted to wait until a new skill came out then train it normally for however many weeks it is until you can use dragonkin lamps on it and then shoot straight to the top 100 or lower in the new skill ..

I would say they are definitely worth it for monster hunting in pretty much all situations. Whether they're worth it for slayer really comes down to your income I wouldn't imagine there are too many slayer tasks were normal prayers won't be entirely adequate.

I know this isn't what you asked but I would honestly tell you to seriously consider getting wired speakers. The mark up on price for wireless speakers is huge and you can get some really good wired speakers for the same price you'd get some sub-par wireless ones for.

Does anyone else get logged out when switiching worlds and then cannot log back in for another 10 seconds or so as 'Your have not logged out of your previous session'. Quite annoying when I was trying to find a emptier world for my slayer task.

The Runetek 5 update is the most annoying thing thats ever happened in RS. I used to have to spend maybe 3 hours getting a 8.(less than 10) and I would have an awesome PID for Castle Wars as I did this when there was no free trade if this was still the case I would be doing rapier stakes as it stands I CBA to get PID everytime I log in and have to stick with boring old boxing.

Part of the difference is how many you can do per hour. You can super-heat quicker than you can high alch.
