  1. If you are metagaming you do not have time to do so. Typing takes precise ticks which impacts on the xp:hr in the long run. Plus being unsociable is hardly a good measure to go by at all many people be clicking away but watching tv or talking on skype and not paying attention to chat, some will even have chat turned off. Not talking is the absolutely WORST measure of botting, especially seeing as most bots these days are more than capable of holding a basic conversation so if anything passing basic chitchat of hi, what's your level etc. is more indicative of a possible bot than not talking at all. I remember when bots used to talk. I would say "Stupid level?" And much to people's bemusement, the air altar became filled with quick-chatted "My Runecrafting level is []." And if you try out some of those AI programmed to hold a conversation, you'll see it's easy to distinguish a difference after a few lines-they tend to say something random or miss anything subtle.
  2. It's just putting two and two together. Between the people who admit that they have botted (if you've known they for a while), and the people who one might suspect are botting (how many people can click repetitively and not even have the slightest desire to say "Hi," despite having time to do so), what conclusion does one draw?
  3. I've just gone mining in World 1 Rimmington, and there is someone with combat level 117 botting there. I won't post my methods, but it's not difficult to tell whether someone there is a bot. So yes, some high levels are botting...
  4. I guess we'll really be getting the short end of the stick this time.

A firefighting minigame, where you fight fire with fire.
  6. You can go to Future Updates (and get trolled).
  7. The RuneTrack website functions off the hiscores and hence does not work for F2P players. Maybe it wouldn't seem so stupid if you were one of the players kicked off the hiscores with the update.
  8. That is kind of what I meant to say. Sorry for my lack of clarity.
  9. The sticky/announcement threads are helpful and all that, but many of them are kind of one-off aside from occasional reference. Would it be possible to hide these or at least shove them down to the bottom of the page so one can see the actual active threads without scrolling down?
  10. This is the classic problem of the dog chasing its tail. Without members, you can't have an active site, and without an active site you cannot attract members.
  11. Yes, because if we can't remove them, we know what happens: "1M please, I accidentally added my dragon pick to the toolbelt."
  12. I heard spear, and then you just choose whichever style the monsters are weak to, if you don't mind XP split into different skills. Range can be trained at Flesh Crawlers or Giant Spiders in the Stronghold of Security (down the hole in the middle of Barbarian Village). For Prayer you're best off making cash and then buying big bones, unless killing Hill Giants is faster for you than making money, but I doubt it.
  13. If you add a log to the bonfire, and then immediately click the tree, the time to add the log to the bonfire is also counted as time spent chopping the tree.
  14. You mean $2 to trade off all the money...
  15. If they pull any of that you-have-to-be-a-member-to-help-us-with-beta-testing stuff...
  16. You do? We are? I think I almost fainted.
  17. Obviously if everyone in RuneScape started training on QBD, the value of any unique or valuable drops would plummet. And I *thought* killing bosses was supposed to make you rich, not gain massive amounts of xp.
  18. It's not loading properly for me either.
  19. You might have guessed I played pokemon. And it was so annoying being treated like a total idiot every time you started fresh.

For everyone's information, when the boost runs out your lifepoints appear to slowly drain back to your previous maximum.
  21. I can agree with most of that but I don't think you'll be able to force general chat like "How was your day?" But if you want to chat with someone, I'll pm you ;).

I think it increases max LP (but you still need to wait/eat to reach that threshold) and then possibly vanishes after the specified amount of time.

Right click and choose Holiday-Items. Yes we can, surprisingly. Yeah. But um, like, is there a way to take it off. Not that it's not nice but I kinda wanna be the fake Polarbearblu. Can't have it telling everyone I'm real. And did anyone notice you get more exp for adding the log to the fire then lighting it separately? Right-click Xuan and choose "Clear-title."
