:shame: Everyone knows it's China these days.
  2. I've always liked Dan Bull. Yet another good rap. @Overdoziz: no, that's a very normal English voice.
  3. This thread seems very pointless, insofar as I can't understand why someone making some sound investments reflects badly on them.
  4. That is hilarious. Certainly applies to me in most cases.
  5. One PR disaster after another. Yet another Jiblix.
  6. Some good points, though much of the criticisms apply to all MMOs and video games in general - don't expect virtual rewards to be tangible or lasting.
  7. I find increasingly that the largesse of international bodies such as the UN is a source of great irritation.
  8. The ni reference actually made it harder. With that there and reference to kings I had no idea what it was talking about. Without that I'd probably have gotten it quicker :P Strange - the ni reference was the only thing I got straight away, followed quickly by the tip and open. The dot took me a while.
  9. My God that was intense. Thanks, Killer. Edit: I see that DarkDude, myself, and Hartlar who came close, are all from England - could it be that the 'ni' reference stumped our Americans, Dutch and so on? :P
  10. It's because of the Armistice that we can have internet arguments. :P
  11. My problem is the opposite: I get tired earlier than I'd like, and have to forego my nightly reading some 2 or so nights every working week.

    Very impressive.
  13. Though I can see you're not trolling, I also see that you are speaking as a young person who is still very much coming to grips with the world, and has that sort of innocent (not to sound too patronising) amor fati that arises from having a happy, largely protected existence. In all likelihood, some experience of life proper will change your opinion on the matter. Or, as was the case with me, you may just realise it spontaneously.
  14. It's not like Ellen can seem to decide what's best for her.
  15. Once upon a time we were your age, and we know the sort of stories 14-ish year olds come up with.
  16. A little cousin of mine steals any possession of anyone's that she likes the look of. It was fine when she was 3 or 4; now she's 12, I don't even pretend to find it funny anymore.
  17. Makes me wish I was still a member.
  18. Almost everything in the world that has no rational or set answer can be boiled down to the second paragraph here, but that solves nothing. Furthermore, the real question surrounding abortion is when a human is considered human - it's not quite as mathematical or two-dimensional as 'Born > Unborn, Born < Unborn ?'.
  19. I must disagree there: some pieces of literature, most philosophy and even, in some cases, poetry - all fun in my books. But theatre does not do it for me.
  20. I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I was in the same situation. I got out of it successfully by telling her I'd always wanted to eat her out and it worked. Now that I think about it, was that even a good idea or was she just [bleep]ty? That is possibly the worst advice I've ever seen. Congratulations, you're great at making up stories. Oh Boros, you teller of myriad truths, you took the words straight from my mouth. @Sam: by the look of it, yes, she's made a complete fool of herself.
  21. Can't say I found it very comedic.
