The people criticising Jiblix for restoring his membership clearly didn't pay much attention to his message: Jiblix does not hate RS, but was angry about Jagex's lack of action against bots and took a public stand through his video-making. Jagex have now taken major action against the bots, and as far as he's concerned it's mission complete - why should he stay away from RS if the issue was the bots? In what way is this a defeat or a betrayal of principles?

This is a silly little scheme if ever I saw one. Suppose they want it to balance out with Jiblix's e-fame for reasons that didn't do them many favours.

Ultima Online has an economy similar to Runescape's and it manages to survive with a public test realm. I would assume that Runescape's community is a bit... Different. You would be right. Ultima Online is a lot older, a lot more mature, and a lot smaller.

This page has reminded me of those aspects of American culture that I hate. One of them is the sickening homecoming, but by far worse are the beauty pageants for six year olds.
