  1. To Dutchdreams ^ You quoted Rose instead of me - just pointing out a few flaws there. Anyway, mistakes aside, I'd just like to present my stance on luring one last time. I lure FOR FUN. Money is just the bonus. What the guy above doesn't seem to realise, is that there is a difference between "most" and "all" When I say MOST lurers are pixel hungry, it does not mean, that ALL lurers are pixel hungry. Therefore, my two previous statements that he so eloquently proclaimed as being "contradictory" or something to a similar meaning, are infact, quite acceptable. MOST lurers are pixel hungry, but not ALL are. See - it makes perfect sense! Most lure for pixels, but not ALL lure for pixels. If you wish me to drop the pre-school-esque, patronising dialogue, please, PLEASE, do not make stupid points, picking out the "flaws" in peoples' arguements, whilst quoting the wrong person, AND giving false meaning to what I actually said.
  2. Yes, they have fixed that - and this guy has got it completely wrong. Im not gonna say how exactly to do it because a)most people know and b)less money for me.
  3. Yes? Duke Freedom - absolute legend And yes, they do. They werent really kidnapped - just captured. And I heard something on radio about them being in iranian waters, in which case, I guess they deserve it.
  4. You contradicted yourself there. Scaming IS lieing. But lieing is not scamming. So no, I didn't. So you're saying it's perfectly fine to steal and mislead people and that it's not included at scamming? You're logic makes no sense at all. Lieing and misleading people are what defines scamming. To deny that is to deny that scamming even exists, which it does. The only reason that luring is not against the rules is because its impossible to report. It's a very drawn out process and there is no way to prove it through Jagex currently report system. Unless someone flat out says "I just lured you and took your stuff!" Which still doesnt prove it because the action is not being shown in play. I agree with Wakka. Jagex would ban luring in a second if it was easily reportable. To some degree people deserve to be lured it they being stuff into the wild. But I do have a problem with lurers decieving people into going into the wild. You LIED to them when you said you would sell or buy their items. You LIED if you said you weren't going to the wild. I also have a problem with you believing you're smarter than anyone because you can trick 10 year olds to go into the wild. The one thing that I find strange is these little kids have the reasoning abilities to figure out this game and raise enough money for a rare or something good, yet they don't have the reasoning to know not to take it near the wild. It seems almost like a paradox... As you probably realise - luring is a lot more complicated than "OI COME TRADE ME UP HERE." The best lurers, know how people think, and exactly what to say. Question - Why is tip.it so anti lure - and RSC so pro lure? Dont give me a stupid answer which I expect to get such as "ZOFL CAUSE DEY NUBS," from some guy who joined these forums about three weeks ago - give me a real answer. Also, whats with all these recent luring threads? This one is okay but the ones that really annoy me are the "LURER GETS OWNED" threads, which are just blatantly untrue. Some lvl 85 or something saying he hit solid 20s with dds specs to KO a lurer - not likely. You know why it isnt likely - lures farcast. They get them into the wild and BLITZ or BARRAGE - and thus, slickety bam, you can't move. EDIT: I dont think Lighs was trying to deny that, he was just suggesting that theoretically it is possible to lure someone without telling a lie (this has happened maybe once in the history of runescape, as NOONE is that stupid.) However, its irrelevent. If you dont tell a lie, its not REALLY a lure. Luring is about lieing - just Jagex cant ban it cause its too hard to prove, therefore it isnt bannable. And as long as it isnt bannable Ill continue to do it. Oh and btw, not all lurers are "pixel seeking noobs." who "dont play the game properly" I played the game properly on my main and got two 99 stats, then realised it was pointless, and decided to focus on my exams and lure in my spare time.
  5. My mentality is, as a lurer, that I want to play and have as much fun as I can. Now here's where most people are against me - on the moral side of things. For here there is a difference on our views of the game, and how it should be played. I dont really care about runescape or skilling - I used to, but then realised that none of it really mattered to me. I used to play endlessly searching for adventure and no-lifing to the next 99 I could reach - then realised one day, why am I doing this? Now - I just play Runescape when I have some spare time, and I play for fun. Solely fun. I dont lure for the pixels. I dont lure for the somewhat sadistic feeling people crave, of knowing they have taken someone else's hard worked for bounty - I lure for fun. PURE fun. I try my hardest at it, when I have the time, and I try to become better. It also has taught me a lot about how people think. For example while I am luring, if I say something that brings up a feeling of nostalgia or something that makes them ponder that takes their mind from whats happening in the game - they seem sometimes to envelop me with such creedence - that I could make them do practically anything that their distracted sense of skepticism would usually notice, but may slip under the rug in this certain case. Some people are too paranoid and distrusting to lure, and have so much arrogance or fear that they dont believe a word you say. On a good day I get 1/2 solo lures, and 1/3 team lures. To express the success of a seasoned lurer in terms of runescape money - its impossible, as on some days I can make 0, but then others I can make 100m+. I can only estimate. Id say on average, I lure 5-10m a day, without no lifing it. I know people who no life it and make 100m+ a day. Some days even into 500-600m. They do however have days or even weeks where they lure hardly anything.
  6. They never learn.... We'll just have to kill 'em again. 'nuff said. With your flat level 65 combat stats? Gl son

  11. Okay right..ive used my ink, and ive decided to try and turn the pepsi sign into a giant TIP.IT. We can convert the P, ive already coloured most of the bottom of the P in black..I just need help from everyone to make the P black, and turn it into a T. And then we can start on the TIP.IT. With the right backing it wont take that long.
  12. I dont think we should go the tip.it logo..It would be too hard and noobs would just mess it up..I think we should just have in massive black TIP.IT or something like that, right across the middle...Ill start it =)

  19. Well in the past few weeks, when false bannings have caught attention on Tip.It, the case has usually been reviewed by Jagex. So hopefully that will happen. Im sorry about your account. Keep it real, Bix
  20. N0valyfe basically owns Zezima.. Well, I know that Zezima has been playing alot longer, and back when he was playing at a lower level, it was so much harder to gain levels, but the fact is, he has gained more levels than ANYONE, just in Rs2. And considering Zezima was already high level when rs2 was released, hmmm, well, yeh..

It IS chosen. That's the only reason it can be considered sinful (though I do not agree with that), because the person is accountable for the act of killing himself. You forgot the rest of what was in that sentence. I guess I used the wrong wording. It is chosen as such, but if things are chosen, there has to be another choice. And yes we can see other ways of sorting it out but maybe he could not. Therefore he felt like it was his only option. And if you really have only one option, you really have no choice. The fact is, he didn't know how to help himself or get help. Therefore suicide was HIS only acceptable option.
  22. Soap? That's some crazy [wagon] soap. Hehe. Soap.
  23. user1991 replied to Jaguar_Kings's topic in Off-Topic
Guys, suicide is not chosen. It happens when pain exceeds the person's recourses for handling with the issue, or infact the pain. Sure there are people worse off in the world, yes, but not everyone has the same threshold for mental pain. Ive been through alot in my life and sometimes I've thought about ending it all, and yes the things that have stopped me have been realising that people are here and care about me. Maybe this guy didn't realise that, or didn't give himself enough time. Suicide is in a way selfish. But I think that he may have been under alot of pain (even if his issues weren't that big,) but you have to remember that different people tolerate things differently. Maybe to him he was too ashamed to ask for help. Whatever his reasons and thoughts behind doing this are, don't call him a coward. Maybe you think differently to him. Maybe he had alot of issues with his personality that didn't enable him to think about getting better. Its a shame when anyone dies and even worse when they're young and its through suicide. R.I.P
