There isn't a flower patch on Harmony island, just a singular allotment patch.

I've grown all of those aside from the potato cactus sofar and they all disappear once you've harvested them for the first time. Grapes take a number of picks to harvest but disappear eventually, like an allotment patch. Really? Everyone else I spoke to said grapes stay and regrow like fruit trees/bushes.

Barberry bush is 1 harvest and gone, way to conform to the existing harvest styles of plots jagex... The further we get in to this update the more it seems near entirely useless; Snape and Potato Cactus may be handy but then they should've been farmable from day 1. The grapes seem like they may hold value and the well bush is kinda debtable atm but the rest kinda seem like a waste.

In that case theyre pointless. 600 experience at 92 Thieving is literally pointless. When you harvested the fly traps from the allotment, did you get a single amount of farming XP, or was it multiple as if you were harvesting watermelons and the like? edit: never mind, looked up fly traps on the official wiki and they harvest for even less XP than watermelons, so the point is moot Snape would definitely be better than watermelon as an XP crop, and if sunchoke plants are harvested multiple times (with corresponding XP each time) then they'd be the best XP crop for allotments. Sunchoke harvest in 1 as do fly traps.

Naturism is synonymous for Nudism Naturalism is a philosophy to do with the laws of nature (opposed to the supernatural). A Naturalist is someone who wants to live at one with nature, this does NOT have to be nudism (though it can include it), it just means shunning tech and artificial produce. Though I don't think this meaning is strictly in the dictionary, but it is how it is used.

You can't use seeds to shortcut MA. You still need 300 MA Rank to reach the only shop that buys/sells the seeds and in getting that 300 Rank you will get like 20* more points than you even need for imbuing the rings.

Butterfly flowers seem like the biggest waste of dev time ever. Jarred butterflies weren't even useful when they came out let alone now, I assumed when reading it the flower was going to attract butterflies making a sort of mini hunting spot with a higher concentration than in the usual places but nope it's been Jagexed and is about as useful as a chocolate teapot, made without the chocolate.

I don't see why you'd need more MA points tbh at the cash-in thing unless you die a lot. I got 300 rank and quit it, bought all 4 outfits + imbued warrior, archers and seers and I got like 370k left.

inb4 to get the seed you have so get 4596 MA rank exactly then go to falador park whilst wearing a piece of 3rd age armour then frog transform three times and put on the dwarf warsuit then spin sof 10 times before teleporting using the zaros teleport to the lunar lodestone where you must wear an alchemists amulet and starfury weapon whilst performing all the actors emotes to cause a lvl 4 monkey with 8.6million def spawns with a weakness to thrown and once you kill him he drops the seed. You know something nice and simple and un convoluted that people could *obviously* discover without major hints from a jmod over the course of several months.

I thought they were just going to be god brew + god wine = super god brew No need to change the original Zamorak brew recipe (torstol + jangerberries), except for the fact that torstol is just so expensive and better used for overloads. I thought zammy brew used zammy wine.

I wonder why they are being so coy about what the 10th seed is and how it's gotten. The God Brew's also intrigue me: If the new grapes make wines to make supers, but Zamaorak wine already exists this presumably means the Zamorak Brew original recipe will be changing. Also Guthix Brew has kinda gotta be entirely new, unless they intend to give us some weird upgrade Guthix Rest Tea or Guthix Balance Potion; which raises the question in my mind with the year of the gods and all why not, as a bare minimum, do the big 6 in grapes and brews? But then Jagex often makes odd choices, such as having only 8 god emissaries even though there is obviously currently named 10 godly factions (as shown in the masks where Marimbo and Tumeken got placed) and they could easily bolster it to 12 as and when the Karamajan and Fremminik gods are named.

It's like they wanted to make hybrid armor as useless as possible. Seriously, I'm trying to think of a reason for those stats and the only one that makes sense is spite. I mean, an almost negligible defense plenty for the offense sets, to balance a noticeable offensive boost? Then hybrid armor gets a massive drop in its defenses to balance the fact that you can switch styles - which, thanks to the way the combat system is designed, is something that you only have to do for two enemies that hit fairly hard? I can't speak for TDs, but Akrisae will eat you alive even in T70 tank gear. Why would I fight him in something with considerably lower defenses and a benefit that's dubious at best? Imo they should've done it like: Each tier has base stats. Hybrid is T-5 defence and lp, but benefits from the classlessness Defence is T+10 defence and lp 'Power' is T-10 (or maybe -15) defence and lp with the damage boost of a 1h T fastest wep (like currently) That way hybrid wouldn't be entirely pointless, defence would be significantly better to make it possibly worthwhile for high-end bosses and 'power' were maintain its dps maximising power with enough of a def dent to make it trickier to use for much bossing + making defensive more worthwhile.

The degradation of Old School RS
Yeah, this is number 57132 on the list of updates that was the death of Runescape. You mean 57133, you forgot the Runescape launch being the death of it too. In all seriousness though - calling something the death of Runescape kinda immediately invalidates and undermines any point you may be trying to make because it has become something of a runescape meme used jokingly by some and others, who try to use it seriously, just sound like whiney can't-take-change idiots because people have been touting basically every update ever made to the game as its death right from 01 through to now, not to mention in recent years there is a great trend of the people who claim it often being shown up by the fact they have barely tried the new content and haven't even bothered trying to understand it. (Eg all the people calling eoc the death of rs when it was in beta and they didn't even have beta access, all the people calling rs3 the death of rs despite not having beta access, people calling every high level update the death of rs because they do not have the stats for it, people calling every low level update the death of rs because they have too high stats and it's not useful to them etc.) If there's a lesson 101 to be learnt in debating Runescape it is: Never, under any circumstance, claim something killed or is the death of rs; it immediately invalidates any point you may have. The only exception to this rule is when Runescape does actually cease to be, at which point it will be post-humously viable to assert a specific change as the death knoll of the game. But yeah by and large I agree with many sentiments on this thread, OSRS is the haunting ground of players unable to accept change and would rather march on blindly in a dated and awkward game in the name of nostalgia than move forward with the times. If it's gonna go the way of RSC and die, let it be, don't try to rebrand to make it the primary game just because you are in your nostalgia bubble and don't wanna move forward doesn't mean the rest of us should be dragged down with you. Don't get me wrong nostalgia can be good, I mean look at all the youtube gamer channels that play classic games to sizeable audiences and we all have thoose old movies and shows that are so dated now yet we still love them; but nostalgia should never take the place of the march forward and OSRS should never take the place of the live game as 'Runescape.'

Slayer; Range&Mage training
This so many times over. Pures sucked in all but a few specific circumstances pre-eoc, post-eoc they just suck all together. And even if you MUST make a pure for w/e reason you NEED defence. Without defence you are basically gonna be 1 hit but pretty much anything and everything that's remotely decent for slayer.

Dungeoneering xp and monsters left
Within DG the ONLY factors that effect you individually are prestige & deaths. The floor base xp, level mod, bonus rooms, complexity and 'guide mode' alterations are identical for everyone in the floor. Monsters dead vs monsters alive does effect level mod, but its the same for the whole team and 9/10 killing all the GDs and any vital puzzle room kills should be enough to not be hit by it negatively - but even so the time spent chasing down monsters to purposefully try and boost it would mean worse xp:hr than just doing the floor normally.

Divination - one of the new skills reported by IGN
I think we really need some beefier bosses before we can get proper support mages going. As in bosses that really really really cannot be done with less than 5 or so people, but then with the advent of support mages team sizes can be shaved down a bit. But then they'd likely need to build a better lootshare system for it to work out fairly too.

Divination - one of the new skills reported by IGN
The bit I found intriguing is that Osbourne said spellbooks/prayers for other gods are entirely viable and that normal mage and prayers are supposed to be Saradomin books since he is like the default faith of current times. I'd quite like to have a spell and prayer book for each god even if the content was predominantly the same with only a few tweaks in like the non-main stuff and cosmetics. Could even play with elemental affinities. Eg in Bandosian we've seen some geomancers so have an earth-only spell book that could be balanced with a Zamorakian fire book, Armadyl 'storm' book (aka air and water)

I'm kinda torn of Dramen being the third - on the one hand she does look sooooooooo much like the dramen tree spirit which is like too obvious to ignore, but on the other hand is it TOO obvious? Like a purposeful red herring. But the location of the Dramen tree, its one of a kind nature, the power it gives to work with the void between worlds for fairy rings does lend itself to being at least an artefact. Some might say that's flawed since Guthix memories said only stone staff and horn found here, but Guthix didn't find the Kiln either did he? And if the tree is an artefact and/or Dramen the elder god manifested in some way it'd make sense why Saradomin apparently first entered Gielinor on Entrana, his crown can find these things afterall.

well, may i ask if any of the 10k captains have speed as their highest BASE stat? 1. If speed is the highest base stat, fire him/her, it's the worst kind of captain. 2. Aim for the 1% or +100 trait voyages that boosts stats in his/her strongest stat (IE the 750 base stat). I dunno about the worst kind of captain... You should see some of the beauties I rolled before :P. Is the general consensus to boost their best stat as high as is possible then? I would've assumed it would be handy to have some all rounders at least. From discussion earlier the general consensus on the 'best' captains is (going from memory forgive any minor mistakes) 1) Morale captain with 4* +1% morale 2) Combat capt with 4* +1% combat 3) Sea capt with 4* +1% sf 4) Sea Capt with 4* +1% morale 5) Sea capt with 4* +1% combat 1-3 are the main ones to aim for though and obviously getting a blank capt is haaaaaaarrrdddd so you just gotta roll with it and get what boosters on you can til you stumble across a trait free one to use.

How many RuneScape originals from 2001 are still here?
If you have members you can go see Hans to receive 5 yr/10 yr vet and/or be told days til you can claim the next cape; from this you can work out your exact join date. The only limiter (though it should not apply to you) is that they never logged join dates prior to members launching in feb 02 so all jan 01-feb 02 accounts share the same join date of the day members arrived.
