How to skill fast ?
I don't see why people say you should never ever use warbands on x or y. All 5 skills they serve can be made a lot cheaper and/or faster by using them and since most people can only do 1 wave, maybe 2 waves a day to get their 3 camps it makes no sense to be exclusionary. If you only do it for mining you've only got a 6/10 chance of there being a useful tent there for you, so if you 'should never' use it for anything but mining are you honestly suggesting wasting 4/10 warband trips because the right tent isn't there? If you have 2 skill choices 9/10 camps have something useful and 3 or more you have 10/10 chance for tent you want. By all means mining ought to be a priority at warbands, it is the one that benefits most in terms of speed, but it is ridiculous to claim you should not ever apply it to any other skills ever as that just means you xp waste running camps that you could have got a sizeable chunk of xp from.

Vorago is actually a lot of fun, and if you have nex gear it's not all that hard once you figure out how to handle each phase. Of course fun is totally subjective and 'if you have nex gear' is part of the limiting problem. The fact you NEED armour that costs so so so much (and in most cases the t90 weapons too) for it to be 'not that hard' despite it being relatively low in terms of the top-end now is the huge limiting factor. Even more so since the stupid 20% charge lost on death thing. Of course nex gear should have value and true top end bosses should at least have a hard mode needing the best gear, but when there is such a price disparity between tiers (It's what like 5m or so for a GWD set, same ballpark, probably less for a ports set yet even the cheapest nex set will run you like 100m) and most of the good pvm money making needs you to overcome that in the first place it gets problematic.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra
We do not know of anyone outside the avatar who had bending post-lion turtles before the badgermoles etc taught them bending again. The only group we saw go in to the wilds were the firebenders copying Wann and the evil spirits killed all of them as far as we know. Admittedly it is a grey area but as we have direct lore that tells us people first learnt bending from the badgermoles, sky bison, dragons and ocean and moon spirits that is a pretty clear indication no-one had bending prior to that in the form of powers given to them by the lion turtles. Though Aang getting energy bending does kind fit with it as the Lion Turtle tells him in the past they bent energy not elements implying the avatars powers and the powers lion turtles gave out derived from niches of bending energy whilst the general populace learnt to bend the elements opposed to the energies at a later date via the badgermoles, sky bison, dragons and spirits. Also your video proofs show the exact opposite of what you are claiming. On the Fire Lord he shut his eyes, like he does when entering avatar state, and then has the lion turtle montage to come back with glowing eyes (aka avatar state) as he energy bends. Yakone he does come out of avatar state but then as he takes the bending away and the camera pans out his arrow and eyes light up, which shows he is in the avatar state and only dull again when he has finished. This is again shown when Korra's eye specifically light up (avatar mode) when restore Lin's bending. In all 3 cases you can explicitly and clearly see the eyes light up, a known indicate of avatar state, right as they do the energy bending. Heck for the Fire Lord there's a whole montage of Aang completely lighting up.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
In bts vid or w/e they said the brothers changed weekly, so I'd assume each side being different each time at RF was for example sake rather than a feature and that in-game it'll be like Left = dharok, ahrim, torag Right = karil, verac, guthan for a week then switch up the next week.

Runefest 3 Discussion
We have royal, however if balancing seriously needed it, they could add it to frosts drop table They can't just wedge it in. 3rd age ranger is already made of white dragonhide and the dragons are extinct. However that being said the smithing rework concept of 3rd age battlefields remains yielding necrosis metal for lvl 70 smithing stuff when applied more broadly to other skills could extend to white dragonhides for ranged.

How to skill fast ?
Add warbands into farming as well and swap LRC mining out for drop mining iron - its much faster just a lot less afk. Firemaking Curly roots gives better xp:hr than magics (unless done with ring gloves and ba horn + non-bonfire), probably similar situation for elder logs too.

Runefest 3 Discussion
Really? I can't say I've seen anything that contradicts things pre-existing in lore and I watched the entire live stream other than the Golden Gnomes and some of the side stage things that were just sort of random not big reveal stuff. Only thing mildly out of place is some of the gods are in different tiers to what Osbourne previously suggested, but prior comments of the god hierarchy were all a work in progress thing Osbourne was going to bring out so it doesn't really contradict anything to have it change before the final unveiling. 07 stuff is certainly all over the shop in terms of lore butchery, but those players clearly don't care for the lore and 07 is much further behind so it kinda can splinter off down it's own path of AU lore if it so desires.

Lumbridge Rebuildathon [30-Oct-2013]
That should be fixed now, but you have to collect it from the pile. Ofcourse i get this after it's too late :( I tried giving resources to the memorial on an f2p account and I was able (I didnt give any resources yesterday). It might be a bug or maybe they are letting people give stone today as well due to the mishap yesterday Was Bob actually there? On my account where I did it yesterday Bob was gone this morning.

Runefest 3 Discussion
Yeah theres plenty of discussion and pictures in Update Teasers discussion what with Runefest reveals all being teasers of updates, its a natural port of call for such debate. That reddit is a bit patchy as he missed things eg: • Three pillar storylines that some quests will revolve around: Stone of Jas (Missed, Presumed Death was the first in the storyline). Will be comprised of world events and quests. Decisions in the quests and world events will mix. Players will help decide who gets the Stone of Jas. (Missed this one, but I think it's Zaros or the Elder Gods) - this took up an entire third of the discussion and was the elder god pillar and included concept of elder gods. The Dragonkin • God Hierarchy - 7 Tiers Tier 7 - Avatars and Aspects (Avatar of Bandos, Apmeken, etc). Not affected by the edicts. Tier 6 - Demigods (Itchlarin, Amascut). Not affected by the edicts, but can open small portals. Tier 5 - Inexperienced Gods (Brassica Prime, Marimbo, etc). Largely affected by the edicts, but some expections. Includes Zamorak post-BOL. Tier 4 - Experienced Gods (Bandos, Armadyl, Tuska, Sara/Zam pre-BOL, etc). Affected by the edicts. Tuska will be seen in future content. Zamorak went down a tier, Saradomin went up after BOL. Tier 3 - Not mentioned, but I assume Saradomin post-BOL. This was mentioned it is 'High Gods' and is currently 'lonely' as only Saradomin is in this tier. It has the power to create or destroy on a continent wide scale and to manipulate other immortals (eg gods) Tier 2 - Transcendent Gods (Guthix, Zaros, Seren). Can manipulate and mutate life, but can't create it. Guthix is dead. Tier 1 - Elder Gods (Jas, Ful, Freneskae Creator God). Can create life. Cannot be killed, ever. Another example Marimbo vs Brassica Prime: They did NOT say it'd be a new minigame or that'd it permenant. They talked about it was world event 3 and first showed a picture of them fighting then said this would be unlikely because its not what they are about, they'd rather have a big party. They said they'd do something a bit different that would be fun rather than fighting and it'd leave a lasting effect on the game.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra
That is a wiki, it is not verbatim facts, it is written out by fans interpretting what they see. The fact, as the wiki does state, that previous avatars had energy bending shows the fact that it was a power they had and existed previously within them which contradicts the idea of Aang not having it and being given it because the avatars powers are directly passed down each time. It could easily be seen as the Lion Turtle simply giving Aang knowledge of how to access the power, not the actual power itself. This would fit in with Lion Turtle's as a whole since they allowed people to us bending when entering the spirit wilds and gave all 4 to the avatar BUT they are not the source humans learnt bending from. It is established that after the Lion Turtles left people did not have bending and they learnt it from the Badgermoles, Dragons, Sky Bison and the Moon and Ocean Spirits. This directly implies no-one was ever truly given bending, it is something they either have or do not have and simply must learn, the Lion Turtles only gave them knowledge of it and with each Lion Turtle favouring one element the people of their city naturally bred a stronger affinity for that element as hunters who used it better would survive more. You can even see the genetic factoring of bending in Aang and Katara's children - an airbender, a waterbender and a non-bender. Equally it is shown in Mako and Bolin brothers but one is an earthbender and one a firebender. Of course we must not forget Katara the last waterbender in the southern tribe with her grandmother Kanna, her brother Sokka, her father Hakoda and her mother Kya all being non-benders. Equally a big chunk of book 1 was about how Korra had not managed to reach the avatar state - the only state in which we have seen energy bending done. When she sees Aang and reaches the avatar state yes she gets her bending back and starts energy bending but that does not mean Aang HAD to give it to her. Since there is a preexisting association between the avatar state and energy bending it more logically implies Korra could do it now because Aang helped her reach the avatar state. Even if you do take the view the Turtle directly gave Aang energy bending and he directly gave it to Korra it still does not support the idea of Korra giving people other bending powers. As even with that context we only have proof of an energy bending avatar being able to give energy bending the avatars and of lion turtles being able to gift a 5th form of bending to the avatar, not of an avatar being able to use energy bending to give an elemental bending to someone who never had it.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra
Aang did not 'give' her energy bending. Energy bending is an abilities avatars have through the combination of all 4 elements in avatar mode, Aang just showed her how to access Avatar mode and thus energy bending. The Lion Turtle told Aang about it in the original series and how avatars before him had done it and showed him how to access it, everything we have been told of it so far suggests it is specifically an avatar power related to being in the avatar state. Aang showing her how to do it is no different to how Aang had meetings with the previous avatars who helped him with water earth and fire bending and the spirit world - they weren't giving him anything just showing him the way. And it is not possible at all in how we know energy bending works. We have seen energy bending do exactly 2 things: 1) Take away the fire lords bending 2) Restore the bending of those who lost it through the equalisers We have not seen energy bending ever give anyone a bending power they did not have in the first place; it simply is not something we have any proof of being within the remit of energy bending.

Avatar: The Legend of Korra
I don't see on what level of story telling or plot twist they could ever reach a point where Korra is giving all 4 bending powers to some guy she clearly hates and views as evil to create an evil avatar of sorts. Heck we don't even know if it's possible that she can do it. Yes avatars have used spirit bending to take peoples bending and give it back, but we've never seen them give them a bending power they never had and the Beginings episodes showed the avatar only got all four through the power of the Lion Turtles. I could see Unalaq being possessed by Vaatu to avoid being re-sealed and then Unalaq coming back in book 3 or 4 having gone to study other bending powers and managing more powers through Vaatu's presence - but I just can't see Korra give it to him, she has no reason to and we do not know she even can do that and even if that plot did somehow play out do you really expect it to be some epic battle? Korra, Aang and everyone before spent years, or at least months training to even be able to use other bending powers slightly, let alone mastering them. If that plot line did unfold Korra is already years of study ahead of where Unualaq would be in air, earth and fire bending.

Zaros as god of Control would be terribly useful as, well, control... in a project the size of Gielinor, some things are bound to be forgotten, that's what you have bug checkers for :P. It's a really good backstory too, imo. The TokHaar are sentient as well, so that's no problem, and everyone knows a good AI is the best type of interface. Zaros' mask is undoubtedly Sliske's inspiration as well, that's a great connection to make. All of this looks excellent, I hope Inventing will be a nice skill to train as well. I dunno whether I'd assume he's an elder artefact just because the Elder gods made him.t The Elder gods ARE the only ones bale to create life, they created every last plant and animal originally after all. On the basis that the gods left Gielinor empty I could imagine Zaros being something of an early 'experiment' in controlling life forms on other worlds whilst they were absent, that they decided didn't work. Rather than a literal artefact, especially as they recently said in podcast he has never had an elder artefact or been involved with them, it'd be a bit of a big lie to say that when he himself is one. It seems contradictory to me as well in terms of the Stone of Jas being the strongest elder artefact. For that to be true surely gods who used it, and mortals too, should've been boosted much more than we've seen happen. Plus the fact the Stone was obviously still around in the 2nd age and Zaros still dominated implies he has more power than it offers.

Another thing on the ports V2: Hopefully they have stayed true to their word and the new ship parts includes rebalancing existing parts so all are level with each other and an entire set of ram/figureheard items for sf to balance that.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
I also agree with the idea that it is by no means 'expecting everything to be handed to them' if people find the prices pushing in to billions ridiculous. I am by no means the best money maker in the world, but I do ok and my account is now approaching 10 years with near maxed stats. I've done my fair share of money making over the years, but I've never been a merchant or hugely in to pvm so I simply don't get to rake in billions with no effort. It took a concerted effort to save up for expensive skills and decent gear; and even now I'm nowhere near max gear really. I dislike the element of the game where to really make money you either have to do masses of research and get deep into merching and price watching or be forced in to facing top end pvm regardless of how you enjoy it - especially as most of the top end to be done well requires you have the stupidly expensive gear in the first place. It's unbalanced and prices as a whole are distorted by too much gold being around.

No I don't think it was Ascension, she looked more normal humanoid imo. I was thinking maybe Moia or pre-boss mode Char.

3 new adventurers the cook, the architect and the hunter sound interesting for sure. Intrigued how 2 new trade goods will be divided up special voyage wise with the 3 new adventurers. 62 new voyages is nice, 21 of them will be story presumably (6*3 for each adv solo + 3 for a new trio story) A further 18 could be story too if all 9 adventurers had new stories for the new regions. They made a point about how Seren looks similar to something we've already seen, my only thought was Dramen but I feel like there is someone else rather obvious she looks like.

It annoys me the darn memorial counter isn't working. So we have no idea of how close we actually are with it.

Like they did with dg? If so, dont expect it to be as viable in any way The way they've said it implies that it is made for four people and that you cannot do it with any more or any less people in the group.

Implying the ports armour were all that useful before t90 armours... In reality all ports armour 'went' as soon as power vs tank came in to being when in 99% of cases it became Nex > GWD > Port > Barrow

I was thinking this what with it being dated 2nd May 2013 and rev 5 it is clearly somewhere in the middle of development in terms of planning the gods and gods being actualised for MPD.

I suspect that map glitch (and the black hole in place of bol crater) probably has something to do with a last minute patch in of a small map fragment to cover up a further ahead than the live game is world map of post-rebuildathon area with the camps largely removed

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
Having watched that video I have 2 main thoughts: 1) OMG Thoose barrows pets are adorable I want them all. 2) It sounds to me as if coinshare is being 'removed' from direct drops kind of in favour of a lootshare style given out top end item that can only be traded and then when traded the trade value (either via direct trade of ge) get auto-coinshare out. Aka bypassing the flaw of it being unusable if ge value isn't right and instead acting as a tool to remove the trust trade element out of sharing it non-coinshare ways.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
Seems a like a nice month from what they've posted thought I did lol a bit at t90 melee power armour from barrows. Of course it is too early to judge truely but it seems as if the t90 power armours are going to end up matching the t90 weapons. As in t90 melee kinda easy to get and thus reasonably cheap (reasonable in the context of an overinflated economy where most high end stuff is rather stupid high prices) T90 ranged its doable for the average joe, but kinda takes more effort in less rewarding places so costs more than melee by a good margin. T90 mage just off the charts cause the boss that drops it is not rewarding enough for the vast majority of players and thus doesn't come in to circulation as much as it really needs too.
