I really don't see why we need a poll for this at all. It's simple: People who want to use it can, people who don't can ignore it. "Oh but I don't wanna lose rank blah blah" they already said they'll keep the current style of hiscore as a separate category so your precious rank will be ever preserved there. About the only issue to debate is whether the existing or the prestige scores should be used as the main hiscores, with the other being a 2ndary alternate to view. I mean it literally does absolutely nothing to you or your gameplay if you opt to ignore it, but for maxed people who want it it'll make a world of difference. Besides with how Jagex polls go it'll pass even if they have to pull PR stunts, alter options/levels and then outright ignore the results anyway (Remember how OSRS only reached existence with an additional membership fee, but they kindly let us have 6 months free to celebrate...like 8 months ago)

Missing, Presumed Death
Your theory has holes in it where you've made massive leaps with little to no evidence or reason and in some cases is kinda contradictory to what we know. Whilst Zaros was a master of the Shadow realm he is not currently there, so it would not be simple for him to take control of Sliske with the edicts in place especially as from what we've been told each world has a Shadow realm, just like each has an underworld. So you can assume the Edicts extended to the shadow realm, just like it covered Zanaris. It does nothing to explain how he got the Staff of Armadyl, the Dragonkin had it and Sliske got it from them. Nothing Zaros requiring in that and nothing Zaros could've done from behind the Edicts. It does nothing to explain how he 'teleported in' to kill Guthix. TWW clearly show us he could not get in until we opened it and then he used the commotion of the fighting to get to the final chamber. Plus Guthix openly told us he knew what was going to happen and let it. If anything Guthix had more to do with Sliske getting in than Zaros. Zaros involvement does nothing to explain capturing a dragonkin, finding the stone or capturing Death. Everything we've been shown of Death suggests he is not particularly powerful, capturing him does not seem to be a particularly epic feat, especially for a trickster like Sliske. Zaros involvement can't explain finding the stone, he's just a Tier 3 disembodied spirit god at the moment, he can no more locate the stone than any of the other gods can. I mean if Saradomin can't manage it with the Crown Archival why would a weakened, off-world god be able to? Equally it doesn't explain anything to do with capturing a dragonkin. We know nothing of how the gods can deal with dragonkin, for all we know they are just as powerless as us. The only person we know to have had any success is Robert the Strong. Plus I don't think it does anything to explain giving us the key or the purple haze. Sliske wanted all the major gods there to witness the rules of his game, with communications already established to Zaros in Sennistein and the edicts fallen it is not exactly rocket science to open another portal if you have the power. Plus Sliske gave us the key because he had no further use for Death. Death was merely a ploy to get Icthalarin to attend and as far as I can tell Sliske wouldn't do to well without Death working. He uses wights after all which as essentially souls he has trapped, by that logic he would need Death to be severing the connection to the body in order for his wights to be remotely mobile and useful. It's certainly a possiblity that Zaros and Sliske are in league, but what we've been shown so far doesn't really prove it at all.

Missing, Presumed Death
That's a really good ideaThere can't really be people on other planes from Gielinor because Gielinor had no native intelligent species gods brought them all here; then with the world gate and such lost we haven't had access to travel to other worlds for a long time aside from the odd small world that is utterly dead (Kethsi etc) so as it stands logically speaking there can be no-one who thinks of Gielinor as home (enough to make them come to its underworld opposed to the one for the plane they are in) who isn't already on Gielinor. That's true but maybe a god (or someone else) brought them there while investigating other planes for their armies, elder items or whatever and they either got left behind or stayed there for w/e reason. If Jagex wanted to I'm sure they could come up with something to explain them there. The further we get in to the sixth age the more plausible it becomes, but as it stands the idea of a god taking them there has the same issue. The gods were last able to influence Gielinor to long ago for any of them to still be alive and currently they seem more concerned with getting here than taking folks elsewhere, and any they do take elsewhere are unlikely to of had time to die. It'd certainly be an interesting theme, but it'd be tricky to pull off before later sixth age/seventh age (Mod Mark and/or Mod Osbourne has mentioned they can foresee Gielinor entering a 7th age at some point during game time so not entirely impossible). On that note I do wonder if we are going to see the ages changing more swiftly now (still talking in years), I mean in general they have been getting shorter. 1st was roughly 4000, Zaros Empire in 2nd lasted 2,000 so 2nd age is 2000+, 3rd Ages lasted 4,000, 4th was 2,000, 5th was 169. And since the ages are marked by big events the gods being back with us to protect the world we could easily see something worthy of an age change quite quickly. I mean 2nd Age began because Gods arrived (other than Guthix and Seren) 3rd because Zaros 'died' and war began 4th because Guthix ended the war. 5th because the spread of runes led to human dominance and the restoration of civilisation opposed to tribes. 6th because Guthix died. If we kill off a few gods, discover an elder god or see a new god rise quite rapidly all could be cause to proclaim a 7th age. But this has gotten a bit rambly tangental...

I hope at some point in the Dragonkin line we meet one who has been receiving our memories via the lamps for sure. I don't think fighting us would be their goal necessarily, I could imagine it being the some like the guy who made the QBD interested in research and study who put these effigies out there to be opened by only the best of the best so he could study them for ways to overcome the Jas connection.

Apparently Relomia's location in the citadel is randomised for each user, but she's always on a lone rock somewhere during the puzzle rooms. Also I hear rumour the chaos ele hint about pming her refers to her having special dialogue via god banner (sliske faction of course) during the time she is stuck. @above

I guess I missed that :/ Does anyone have a picture? If anyone is aiming to get a picture: When you are in the store room go out the back to the garden bit you should see an npc dot to the north in the middle of the air marking Relomia He can't be found there after the quest :/ *She

I liked how the emissary was there stuck on a tiny stone unable to move.

In response to #3 That is a very good point, hadn't thought of it from that angle. I guess I'm still mildly disappointed doesn't get included when others with less lore to them or pure joke do, but it does make more sense from that angle.

Missing, Presumed Death
Probably because it is quite easy to subconsciously write or say the well know phrase missing, presumed dead when trying to write the intentional pun on it missing, presumed death. The title was never Missing, presumed dead it's been Missing presumed death since we first heard about it through to today.

Evolution of PVP combat!
^I agree with that and there is always the issue of what do you do if there is no clear majority victor. If you release 5 pvp models and all attract about the same which one do you then pursue? Sure one may be ahead but if they are all roughly around 1/5 of the audience will it really please the 4/5 not playing it?

I should probably add that I did really enjoy the quest despite finding the twist blindingly obvious and having the few minor gripes listed. Set up a nice foundation for the coming days.

F2P outgoing trade limit and bonds?
If you use the bond for membership and are a therefore a member it should remove the trade limit, same as getting membership any other way.

[hide]Sliske probably set up the podiums himself. If you had taken the time to examine the Guthix podium you might have guessed at that; the podiums were only for the gods he wanted to bring in. Dunno why there was a Brassica Prime podium though. Maybe Sliske just put it there to annoy the rest.[/hide]

So I finished the quest...what was the big twist supposed to be? All seemed rather predictable to me I did have a couple of minor gripes though:

I'm not saying cutscenes cover it all, but the recap NPCs and books do cover all the necessary lore. And no matter how you frame it the technical requirements of making quests replayable just does not work in a game like Runescape, there's just so many loopholes of things that you simply cannot be allowed to do or own whilst the quest is in progress that it's a literal nightmare for bugs if left to be done in the live world which is where instanced areas come in to play. But then trying to create instanced versions of huge swathes of the world hundreds of times over for each quest just becomes an equal headache of excess coding and data. It's nothing like the trouble of resetting skills, skills as I said before are already built of a system where every action is tested against your current level due to existing draining mechanics and they do not have knock on consequences in to areas being locked or unlocked, npcs being in alternate locations, items not being allowed to exist for you. Afterall it may be dodgy to have say blisterwood logs without the lvls for the quest anymore, but it doesn't have any game-breaking consequences tied to it in the way having them when the required quest is no longer completed does. It's all very well saying I don't think they need to be instanced but saying it and doing it are another thing. When quests involve changing landscape, npc locations and more and their interrelations with other content and quests make it no simple matter to just toggle these things back. This is something jmods themselves have mentioned being problematic. To me their dev budget is far better spent in the remaking of old quests thereby putting more cinematics in to them and allowing those to be rewatchable and where possible having small replayable segments (such as the DoC battle) than trying to chase the technical nightmare of trying to make them replayable entirely. Alongside the addition of more recap npcs with more in-depth dialogues.

Agents of SHIELD
The movies are about super heroes and how Shield brought them together. The TV show is about what Shield is and what normal people are doing behind the scenes to deal with there incursions and entities that can lead to supers. As far as I am concerned Shield is standing on its own just fine in the show so far without supers and they don't really need supers to deal with things. Sure we might see some super villain types come in, but I don't think its going to be any big bad that they are entirely incapable of dealing with themselves. Also given the interrelation of the shows and movies I don't think the glimmer we saw of a super villain will necessarily be part of the TV show. Though as a teaser villain Franklyn Hal aka Graviton is an interesting one, suited to use in the TV show as one of the lesser villains that most wouldn't immediately know.

I don't think the cinematics really do a very good job for the replays, honestly. They cover some of it but a lot still gets left behind. Especially because they don't even seem to have them for some recent quests and definitely don't have them for the older ones. I think they should put the resources into quest replays now because the longer they wait the more its going to take in order to do it. Quests shouldn't be one time things when so much is tied up into them. I'd disagree entirely. The core moments of quests are covered in cinematics and coupled with the recap npcs and the various books and such we get the lore is covered in ample detail, not to mention the great work of fansites at compiling information from across all the storylines and sources. Yes not all cinematics are currently replayable but they have said it is possible and something they would like to look into doing when dev budget allows, and that looking forward they intend to do it as much as possible. I mean DoC did it, we've bee told MPD will do it. Mod John A has already said he's looking into making the BotD ones replayable. Not sure if it got done but there was talk of allowing the druids to let you rewatch TWW scenes and the priest at bol lets those be rewatched. That's nearly every cutscene we've had so far this year replayable or due to be replayable. The coding, server space and effort required to make old quests replayable just is not worth it. It may work for some select quests (Eg Elder Kiln and Boe) where they are contained in instanced locations anyway, but for quests involving free roaming in the world the level of work required to make it replayable is just not worth the pay off. As I said in my original post, it's just not possible to be done for the vast majority of quests and Jagex have acknowledged this. Even looking to the future any quests that involve roaming over large portions of the world, opposed to the self contained corridor quests, would be ridiculously complicated to make replayable other than select moments.

True but we have recap npcs for most big series and if they work on the cinematic replayability that'd solve the problem of the lore replay. Skills aren't quite the same in reset, they are all already coded to be you need x to do y if you drop below x you can't do y because we've had plenty of stat reducing effects in-game. Sure there's 1 or 2 things that may be grey areas (eg Pop), but most stuff has the code already there to deal with your level dropping.

Agents of SHIELD
But Shield isn't all about superheroes, so why should the show centre on them? Plus Ward is MEANT to be a bit emotionless and robotic due to his one man killing machine training. And it isn't a world without context it directly follows on from Avengers Assemble, and subsequently Iron man, capt america, thor, hulk etc. thats like 7 or 8 movies of context for ya.

I think using a prestige like system they could allow you to replay through them a bit easier. First of all they'd need to require that you reset your whole quest list, this way they don't have to worry about the exp because you couldn't just repeat the same quest over and over for massive exp gain, most quests aren't really very good exp for the time spent. Second when you prestiged the quest list, all quest items and reward items would be removed from your bank until you re-earned them during the quest. Also you'd lose access to any areas that require the quest to obtain entry. When listening to the podcast, all the stuff they mentioned only seemed like an issue if you were replaying 1 quest at a time because if you have to replay them all before you reset then exp isn't really an issue, and if you have to replay them all then they can actually take away all quest rewards you've obtained without causing issues. They also haven't said its impossible, they said they aren't working on it which is an incredibly stupid idea considering how heavily they seem to be pushing the lore now and how top-heavy the game has become. A lot of the players have been playing for a long time, I don't remember a lot of the quests I've done too well just because its been so long. They take several years to finish a quest-line and by that time it can be hard to remember the previous quests in the series. Certainly a blanket reset on quests would make things simpler, but some how I don't think 99.99% of people who want quest replays want to blanket reset all near 200 quests. And it still wouldn't be an easy task, there's a huge number of variables to be reset to revert quest related changes that probably couldn't all be altered without a serious load screen or forced log out. Then there's the huge thousands of items to be checked for in several places for removal to reset quests and the question comes then of where to draw the line: Should someone lose their stockpile of blisterwood stakes because they shouldn't have them? and If they don't what steps are then required to build in the exception and stop those stakes being used to shortcut the quests? Should all the Temple trekking rewards be revoked too and you have to re-level all of them? The vyre kills for boosting weapons? The list is just endless.

They've mentioned in podcasts replayable quests just aren't possible. Due to people/items/locations disappearing/appearing based on quests they'd literally have to confine the entire replay into an instanced area, plus they'd have to add in duplicate variables to check for certain things, such as keys etc, to correctly register that you don't have them despite the fact they may be sitting in your bank. Not to mention insanely tight checks needed on said instances to make sure you don't have anything you should not have in terms of keys, abilities items etc and special instanced spell books and lodestones etc to correctly route your movements within the instance. Plus it'd be next to impossible to allow you to leave the instance and come back to it later because the potential for game breaking bugs due to conflicting data on where an npc is and what you can do is enormous, especially for npcs involved in a large amount of quests and content unlocked by the quest, or it's follow ups. It's just a lot of work for very little pay off, especially when you start factoring in a lot of quests use huge swathes of the world and they'd each have to have their own instance to be replayable. It's just not something you can make every quest work with and, for quests not made with it in mind, a nightmare to add. They have said though, with a bit of work, they ought to be able to let us rewatch most cinematic cutscenes if they got the dev budget and, as shown in DoC quests in self contained areas with replay built in from the start can have some replay-ability.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
I wouldn't say its a 'use this instead' item for nex gear. Based pn the tank vs power armour binary in most situations the rankings go: Nex > GWD > PoP > Barrows Because basically nothing needs more defence than GWD gives, and the added dmg of GWD and nex gear makes for faster kills. It's only marginally better than Barrows because it will mean you use slightly less food. I mean it does still have it uses, good for high end boss tanker role and good for certain bosses where your less experienced and want to extended your survivability, but in pure metagame terms its borderline redundant.

25-September-2013 - Runescape Bonds
I loled at them when I first saw them my thoughts were: Tom - Fails at googling and/or is a liar, ignoring the paid ads that always tend to be filled with annoying crud the top money making results are like all proper guides and videos on money making. Either you are so bad at searching you missed all these to find a bot or you are a liar and you were intentionally searching for a way to shortcut the system. He also needs to learn better internet security, repeat passwords and no AV to stomp malware? Rookie boy. Sam - Sam is just going to die and rage quit. If his friends are telling him he can do Nex with Ganodermic when the guy can't even make the gp to get it (I mean seriously few hundred k can be done in an hour or 2 with 0 skills) they are utter trolls. Katie - Girl needs to put down daddies credit card and get herself a job. Also parents seem utterly useless. firstly you let your kid steal ur credit card? gold star parenting there! Plus really phoning the police over card fraud? Phone yer bank, we all know there ain't jack the police can do, but the bank can cancel the card and clear debt from ya. As for a8jk13tjkp - hot dam you can talk and hold real conversations whilst performing multiple different forms of activities. YOU SURPASSED YOUR CODING YOU ARE NOW FREE. Terminator in the making, all I'm saying.
