If you count staking, losing 2X Blue stake would be my most expensive. I guess most embarassing was a 200m box where I had a solid 400 LP lead (Pre EoC, it was about his 200lp vs my 600) went to go and make a cup of tea, came back to me dieing with him on redbar. Even with his bs comeback, I'd have probably won if I'd carried on switching.

Dh with momentum works just fine. Still 1 hitting hellhounds, abyssals etc. and you still get insanely fast slay xp/hr. I don't like abilities so I interact with them as little as possible. But I can see why it'd be good with that whirlwind one.

1005s 1095s 1295b 1425b 1906s 3000-3100 Those are the official prices, although the blue range hasn't moved for a while and 3075 is the lowest reported transaction in a while, so that's more likely to be 3050-3150 now. People probably don't like to look at it this way, but other than small daily fluctuations, the long term price of rares and the price of RSGP are correlated very strongly. The lack of any noticeable action against bots, combined with the higher than normal number of hosts giving up and selling GP recently, has driven the price of gp down. That increases the demand for rares. There's also the self fulfilling prophecy aspect to it: most wealthy merchants know the above is true. So they stock rares early, leading to fewer hats on the market and a smaller supply, which drives the price up even more :P I doubt jagex have anything planned against bots until at least the new year (if ever -.-) so I'm betting on a nice rise for now. Hopefully we'll see 2b+ whites again by the end of the month.

I was simply stating my opinion, I am well aware it's considered a skill by most runescapers and most definately considered a skill by all maxed players and the 200mil 'scapers. I just really hope the new skills are nothing like dg. Which i'm very hopeful they won't be considering they're gathering and processing skills which pretty much rules out any possibility of it being like dg. Dg is a skill. It takes longer to learn, but once you have done it's just as much about repetition as all other skills.

Whoever is banning Fishy's fc's, their time would be far better spent banning the dozens, if not hundreds, of bots with 200m hunter xp. 90% of their betters are addicts and know all the hosts anyway, so they aren't really hurting the fc at all. Whereas the hunter hiscores are just a joke at the moment. Jagex need to get their priorities sorted out.

It's blatantly obvious that it's not going to last another 10 years. 60k players online, between 20k and 25k of whom are powerbot users. Still means a majority of players are actually players, but I don't see any MMO surviving for a decade with such a small player base.

You think you've seen it all, but then they bring something else out which stuns you with just how ignorant they are of their own game. Dual rune longswords is just... apparently they can afford to use a virtus wand though.

Disjointed mess with a disappointingly simple yet tedious 'boss' fight. And to think I had hope after the Rune Mysteries reworks. Use a maul, ignore everything other than the boss and the first ranger. Use meteor strike ultimate when he's around half hp to completely ignore the entire point of the boss fight. (That you need to use stuns)

Does no one else think it's a bit dodgy that Skiller was told Fishy and Starry were going to be banned shortly? So much for a player's account status being between them and Jagex eh. There's also the question of whether or not they would have done detectable RWT if it wasn't for being told that. I mean we know now that he was using rank fees and weeklies for undetectable RWT, but that's besides the point. If JMods hadn't leaked information about his account status to other players, they wouldn't have any evidence RWT was occurring.

Either way, this glitch is now patched. A quick warning for anyone who does stake however: Since boxes take so long now, the majority of stakes are weapon stakes. Rapier is most commonly used. However, the whip and vine whip are both now 1 tick faster than the rapier, meaning someone can gain a significant advantage by using the vine whip to gain a high enough tick advantage to essentially get a free hit. Also, the Statius Warhammer is superior in stats to the rapier/cls, and is one handed, so people often use the vine whip on the penultimate hit to gain a 1 tick advantage then switch to the hammer, giving them a higher chance of a KO, and if not you'll still be hitting on the same tick due to the use of the whip. (The average damage of vine whip+hammer is greater than that of a rapier). The tl;dr is that if you aren't comfortable counting ticks and using each of the 3 weapons, you should always do an inventory check when weapon staking.

A friend of mine was the one posting it on the HLF several times over, eventually he got forumbanned with no reason why. Of course, it's kind of obvious why. They must really not like this site or something. "Posting it [..] several times over" -- sounds like spamming. Not really surprising that he was banned for it. It wasn't spam. He posted one thread, it got hidden with no reason given. He posted another thread and it got completely deleted, again with no reason. He wasn't creating several threads at once, just continuing the discussion.

A lot of the complaints seen in those reviews do make sense when you look at what's been going on in the game. It's not all bad either; the impression most of them seem to give is that it used to be a fun, quirky place to work with the regular staff jollies and the like, but poor management and people getting laid off so easily are starting to take their toll. The thread about this was hidden several times on the RSOF, with no reason given as to why. If those reviews were fake, surely the JMod hiding the thread would have said so.
