Gone for 6 months. What's new?
Bots disappeared for a good while so all the previously botted resources shot up in price, leaving the none botted items to crash down due to over supply. I hate to agree with pro-bots, but without them all the fun stuff like PVM becomes less profitable as more people wish to do it over mining iron ore. But bots are back now... So... Yay?

Does box staking always end in getting cleaned long term?
I ran some numbers on the first hit thing and you could technically safely make trillions by staking 1/100th of your bank everytime, with only a 3% advantage. I think the main problem is having the patience to continue small stakes and not be tempted to gamble. I'm somewhat tempted to try it when I'm max combat + wealthy enough for the 1/100th of my bank to add up fast enough to warrant the time wasting to ensure first hits :P But please do. Because that would be awesome. Maybe I'll become more addicted to the simulator and stop playing runescape.

Well statistically it's you VS every other staker. You have >0.001% of the total wealth involved, total loss is almost inevitable if you don't stop. (The alternative being every other staker loses to you or stops staking) If you have better odds (first hit, perfect style switches, never lag) and do (relative to your bank) small stakes, you can make a consistent profit that while technically won't go forever, will seem like it. But consistently getting these better odds isn't always under your control.

Money Making 2m+/hr
Got yak? Frosts are like 3m/hour with yak and you don't need expensive gear at all. I agree that "farming is 2m/hour" is a poor way to put it. If i needed 10m in 5 hours, i could not get it by farming. It's much like saying that MTK is 20b/hour as it takes 1 second to click "collect" after a few months of managing it. Or corp is 500m/second if you only count the time it takes to die as it drops a divine sigil.

Double drops
It's not until the weekend. Saturday.

Thinking about trading up.
Vengeance alone makes the 2-3 combat levels well worth it for 40 defense. The dhide/rune/mystic are just the icing on the cake. 60 attack is great. Low level pking is all about special attacks for the KO power, and the 3 best, dds/gmaul/claws all happen to be under 60 attack. Scimmy has the advantage of not being threatening enough for your enemy to safe on, unlike rapier for example, which just makes switching to a special and killing them easier. If you want to increase combat level i do recommend getting attack before defense, though, increased accuracy and relatively low defense makes veng combos a lot more reliable. The main reason people get 45 defense isn't for the berserker helm, but the shadow silk hood. If you use chaotics or do a lot of high risk hybridding (arcane streams) then it's very useful to have a hood... But sacrificing your convenience outside of the wilderness for the optimal build inside the wilderness is what a pure is all about, so it seems quite backwards to do the opposite in this case. If you're a real high risker, you'll probably be leeching dung anyway.

[15-May-2012] Stomp the Bosses!
I wonder if charms are also doubled. I'll be camping glacors, if they are. :P (Hell i might even do chaos tunnel waterfiends)

Summoning
Summoning is awesome. You do not train summoning by having a summoning... Summoned. You get xp by converting charms (Those things almost all P2P monsters drop) into pouches. Because of the slow speed of collecting charms it can be a very difficult skill to train, but just do whatever combat you feel like doing and remember to pick up all the charms you see and you won't have to go out of your way to train it. The quest required to unlock summoning is a good tutorial on how you create pouches. So i won't bore you with the details, go do the quest! http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Summoning_familiars is a good page as you can see all the different summonings you can get, what level is needed to use them, and what they do for you.

Best location/world for bonfires?
The things children will do for some attention. But thanks, I'll check that world out.

Best location/world for bonfires?
I want a place where theres a constant fire with 5+ people on it for the best xp rate. Does this exist?

2 people monster to kill?
You're a little low for GWD, sadly. Maybe both train till all melee stats are 85+ and 70 prayer, then you can do bandos. Getting a good summoning level (52/67/88/96) would be great for the useful familiars at those levels. At the moment the best boss you can reasonably do is the giant mole. But he's kinda lame. If you wanna scape with your friend maybe you should do dungeoneering. You can train melee in there and also get the best weapons in the game, chaotics, which will make bossing much better in the future.

What to wear?
You would be better off finishing off more of rfd to get better gloves then. They're still the best practical all around gloves in game and much better than the regent bracelet. They're outclassed by goliath gloves in every stat. But you need the quests to unlock goliaths :3

What's The Best Bow?
I meant for slayer as a whole, i was deliberately trying to say something that isn't worth doing for the hypothetical. SoA won't save you anywhere near 25 minutes on hellhounds, for example. Buuutttt.... Runescape is similar to real life in a way, once you get to the "1%", you can make crazy money through merching or hosting where the difference between 5m and 30m becomes meaningless. You practically have to be in the 1% to make a consistent 4.8m/hour, unless you live in the fight kiln or have a constant stream of leechers awaiting your service.

Double/increased boss drops, hopefully.

What's The Best Bow?
Cost is a good point. I was just giving the best weapon. Much like you'd say SoA is better than rapier for slayer. Doesn't mean it's ever sensible to use it. I'd like to reiterate that you should never be using range anyway. Use chins to train, use CCB for nex. No other reason to use it, unless you want to use dark bow/handcannon's potential KO power in PVP. (1/250 chance of Hitting 990+ with darkbow can be better than 1/25 chance of hitting 800+ with claws, depending on the situation.)

Is there a God?
As an atheist, i hate the "I'm an atheist because god is a jerk" reasoning. All the seemingly evil things god has done is only evil based on our morals we have built in our >100 years on earth. He created everything and you will have an eternity to see things his way, any opinions you formed during your life on earth is literally nothing in comparison. I'm merely playing devil's advocate here, though. There is plenty of good reasoning not to believe in god, and under the assumption of his none existence, you can point out the things that make the fictional god of X religion a jerk using your own mind, as that's the highest source of authority in this godless reality. (Not to mention that not believing because you don't want it to be true is just as pointless as believing because you do want it to be true.)

What's The Best Bow?
When was handcannon nerfed? How does it work now? Nope. They give 60 range strength when used with mage shortbow, and the special effect occurs 1/10 hits (opposed to 1/5 hits with the relevant god bow)
-
Is there a God?
If that's the case, why not take the sensible step towards taking none of it as truth? I can't get around the idea of ignoring obvious impossibilities for the sake of not being wrong about a decision your parents made for you before you were knowledgeable enough to decide based on your own common sense. That's also a bad way to look at it, just because most of it is fiction doesn't mean all of it's teachings should be avoided and ignored.
-
What's The Best Bow?
False. Magic short can fire god arrows which have a higher range strength AND have an effect that deals extra damage. Much higher base damage, but karils is slightly more accurate. I think you're right about handcannon, you fire 5 arrows for every 3 cannonshots, arrows hit just above 320, cannon hits about 620. Note that's without the potential extra damage from god arrow effect, though. But handcannon isn't a bow. :P

Is there a God?
Just out of curiosity, because you said you were a literalist earlier, do you believe that the people that have their ages listed were actually that old? Methuselah being 965 years old, for example.

Is there a God?
I've never got over the fact that it was a required subject to take in my none Christian school in England, for GCSEs. "History" wasn't. In fact, we had to choose from separate sections and i had to choose biology/chemistry/physics over history, incapable of doing all of them. Yet Religious Education was mandatory. It's only now i look back as an adult that i realize A). How meaningless it all was in the first place and B). Meaningless aside, what a truly awful system we were forced to use.
-
What's The Best Bow?
Ermm... Sighted magic longbow has the best accuracy. Magic shortbow has the best damage/time on all enemies that don't have crazy high defense. Dark Bow can hit the highest.

Corporeal Beast defence level?
I could record my accuracy on corp on my next few trips w/o using defense decreases. I would use turmoil but just not record the first hit. Seeing as corp takes several 100 hits i don't foresee it being a big problem, not enough to limit myself to not having soulsplit or no damage boost at all, anyway. Probably won't go for a few days but i should get a few 1000 hits when i do. I will have 112 stab bonus (119 str) and use defensive style. Overloaded at all times and will only heal with sharks (no brews). Convincing my friends to not use defense decreases will be the hardest part :P

Realistically..
Slayer is bad money and mediocre combat xp. If you care about slayer/max cape then you definitely should do slayer as you'll only have to do it later, when the combat xp you get will be useless to you. But if you don't, then you should avoid it like the plague as it unlocks nothing worth having* and there are better alternatives for both money and exp. (Keep in mind the QBD update is bringing another slayer related dungeon soon, so that may make it useful to have in future.) * Level 35 + 300 slay points unlocks ability to make broad arrows. A fast but expensive way to train fletching. Level 55 unlocks broad bolts which are good if you want to do cheap crossbowing... But why would you do that? Chin for xp, use rune or better for PVM/PVP. Level 95 unlocks gano beasts which are quite good money. But there are better ways to make money that don't require slayer so they're obsolete. Level 99 makes running into soulgazers in dungeoneering much more common, which means you can get a hex much easier... But the slayer requirement isn't needed to wield the bow. You can just go on a team with someone else with 99 slayer and get one in a relatively short amount of time. Plus you don't really need to worry about getting a hex until you're max combat and 100+ dungeoneering. The only real useful one is the broad arrows, but that's only useful to near maxed players that value their time too much to train fletching more slowly for less cost. It's also not even the fastest way to train.

How's Runescape these days?
It's good. Lots of great updates this year along with a few shameless money grabbing ones. If you care about what other players do with their IRL money then maybe not, but why on earth would you concern yourself with that? Some of the money grabbing updates have been pretty lame, such as taking f2p highscores down in an attempt to get more members, so i can't view your stats to tell you which specific updates will interest you <.< ... But theres been a lot of high level content, which is what runescape really needed, imo. Theres also a new boss coming out this month (i think) which is always good! Oh. They also raised the membership fee by about 50% of what it was. Which sucks, but compared to other games is still pretty damn cheap :D
