Mage Staking
You don't need it on to cast Charge, but the bonus damage won't take effect unless you wear the cape. Huh... I guess the one time i ever used it, i happened to be using the cape for the magic bonus anyway. :D Ahh well. If you can persuade someone to use both staff and cape in a high risk duel, I'm pretty sure they're gullible to fall for far less elaborate, less risky and easier scams :P I guess it still applies for full armour mage duels w/o pots, but i personally never see anyone doing those anyway.

Questions about corrupt dragon scimitar think i made a mistake.
Don't alch it... Use it! :D If you're f2p it should be a lot of fun to use the best DPS weapon in the f2p game. If you're p2p, idk, you may enjoy owning f2p noobs and won't really care if you die as it's "value" to you is about 60k. (Could also be used in fist of guthix if you care about getting tokens.)

Your average non-afk nolifer
I understand some people just aren't capable of the highly skill oriented tasks, and appreciate the updates to make things easier for those that can't or choose not to, but i still think there should be "twitch"ier alternatives for those that are skilled enough to do them, as it's a game at the end of the day and they should be rewarded for their interaction in it moreso than those clicking "add logs" and waiting 2 minutes to repeat the action. Just FYI, you don't need to prayer switch on jad anymore. Just tank him in ganodermic, deflect range, with storm of armadyl. :)

Your average non-afk nolifer
I personally agree that the high concentration things, like PVP, should be the best ways to train. AFK methods should be offered as a lazy mans alternative and never the best way. (Ivy VS teaks is a good example of this done right.) I love to AFK occasionally but don't think people should be forced to, to attain the best xp/hour.

do any boots provide range defence?
Well of course dragon boots give rang...*looks it up*... Well I'll be damned. That's strange. I'd recommend just sticking to the best offensive boots for whatever attack style you're using. The ones that do give defense are tiny and offense is the best defense!

How many hours does it take to get all 99's
It would depend really. In game time could be ridiculously low, less than a day, if you just logged on to do real time limited things such as JoT and troll invasion. Actual time doing this would of course be huge. It's sad that SoF has ruined any type of record a player could aim for, as even if you didn't purchase spins 1). People will in order to beat you and 2). Everyone will think you did.

Mage Staking
I don't think you need the godcape on to cast charge... So it hits 300.

How do you find out what email you gave jagex?
I change my password occasionally and i tried to do it today and they've suddenly made it all done by email (fixing things that aren't broken is jagex's specialty apparently) But i can't remember which one i gave them 5+ years ago and can't see it anywhere so I'm kinda screwed. Edit: yay i found the one i gave jagex... But still for other people i guess, can someone tell us where you can find that information?

DDOSing in runescape
I can change my IP by contacting my ISP providers and requesting it, i believe they ask you for a reason, but being attacked by DDOSers should be reason enough. Every site that you visit has the potential to see your IP, so unless you use a proxy for everything but runescape, you really can't hide it.

Is there a God?
I see nobody has mentioned that the average atheist knows a lot more about Christianity than the average Christian, as proven by several polls. I think that speaks a lot for the WANTING god to be real and actually BELIEVING that god is real, especially when you're talking about specific gods and not the notion of a god. Also speaks for the "god is a lazy way to avoid finding real answers" theory, in my opinion.

Mage Staking
Wouldn't Flames of Zamorak completely destroy SoA users? 1 hit and SoA turns into 85-245. 2 and it's 60-225. (FoZ has higher DPS at this point) 3 and it's 35-195. 4 and it's 10-170. FoZ has much higher DPS at this point, with staves. Then you can conveniently use SoA on them as it's in the same spellbook. Oh wait. You need the staff. Huh. I guess you could sweet talk them into bringing their Arma Battlestaff vs your "Poly/Chaotic staff barrage" and do it, making them think you're easy money.

how to actually train herblore?
Make all extremes. In fact, use spicy stews and the logout trick to make all extremes from as low as 83 herblore. The whole point of training herblore is to have access to the untradable potions, and you'll go through them a lot faster than you think, and having 1000s before you're technically at the level to create them will save you a ton of cash in the long run. Also make a few 1000 special recover potions. With that said, i also recommend stopping at 91 and saving to afford the torstols to get 93+ in one boost using all the extremes you have. This makes future boosting a lot easier. Then you'll just very slowly and comfortably get 99 herblore over the years of needing more untradable potions when you finally run out.

Vine Whip worth it?
+4 slash, +2 strength, poison damage. Good for killing things fast for money, not as good for training as poison damage doesn't give you exp. Berserker ring (+4 strength) is a better upgrade for a similar cost. BCP (+4 strength) better upgrade but more expensive. Fury (+2 strength over glory) may be better for training as the accuracy isn't very important when training on low defense creatures such as slayer, and the lack of poison means you get more combat xp per kill. Also gives a nice prayer and defense boost. Tassets (+2 strength) Better upgrade for pure xp but expensive. Worse for pure kill speed. Another valuable note about the armour opposed to the weapon is that they will obviously effect the strength of your special weapon (dds/claws) and increase the damage of their multiple hit low base strength quite significantly.

Is there a God?
When you're choosing which teaching to follow from the bible, can you really claim that it is the source of your morals? Surely you're using your own morals to choose which you will follow, rendering the bible completely useless in that regard. I don't think that religion is to blame for all the worlds problems, but it's a great excuse for people to hate and murder one another. An excuse that could be removed. (Not necessarily by removing religion or the idea of god, but removing all of the "treat people that are not the same as you differently" stuff, of which theres a LOT.) I think it says a lot for my point that religion generally has a "they're different than me so treat them differently" by the fact the overwhelming majority of these bigots happen to be religious.

Is there a God?
At what point did i stereotype all Christians? I deliberately tried to avoid that. Edit: I'll try stay on topic.
-
Is there a God?
That's really not what most religious people think at all - not those who are true to the teachings and aware of their respective scriptures. That viewpoint seems every bit as arrogant as the vilified theists this topic is portraying. so many =/= most. Besides. It's in the bible. Not sure what you mean by true to the teachings.

Is there a God?
Yep. But there is no current reason to believe that god exists at all, and there is no need to disprove something that there is no inclination that is true. The person claiming he does exist, without any evidence, has the burden of proof before we even consider trying to disprove it. The fact it's impossible to disprove and would be very easy to prove should also play a part into this equation. The same can be said of SquiggleGravity or mindreading. If you read my first post on this thread, you will see i am also an agnostic, in the sense that gods existence is in the realm of possibility, it would be incredibly arrogant to assume otherwise, but i don't believe it's likely, as i have no reason to. As i said above, there is no reason to believe god does exist so to assume that he does not is only logical, we can't be certain about it, yet. And that's just a classic case of the bible being an outdated work of fiction written over 1500 years ago. I assume the idea is that all humans would die. I think it's funny how so many theists still believe that humans are god's prized creation and the billions of other life forms (and trillions of other planets that likely have live on them) are just here for the humans amusement.

Is there a God?
Conveniently, that philosophy was held by Blaise Pascal (a Catholic). Theists refer to that as Pascal's Wager. The problem with that, though, is that any monotheistic religion could be correct and you may have picked the wrong one. Ahhh thank you, I've never researched it before, just thought about it in the shower :P. Yep, any religion can be correct. I'd start out by looking at religions that actively claim to be "correct" and then research each and decide which one is right. There are several problems, though. First of all, you're taking a stab in the dark for whatever rewards said religion gives, i assume the god wouldn't take kindly to that. Secondly, theres no reason to believe that any specific religion is correct. There could even be a quite twisted god that only allows atheists into his good afterlife. Or one that awards critical thinking over pot luck. For every positive point about your choice, you can think of a negative that wouldn't be in place if you made no choice at all. I only ever see it when a theist demands an atheist to disprove god, knowing full well that they don't have the knowledge to do that with absolute certainty yet. It's like asking a doctor to disprove that crystals have healing powers. If he could, he certainly would, but he can't, at least not in terms agreeable with the desperate delusional crystal healer, so he shouldn't be put into the position of disproving it. The same applies to atheists.

Is there a God?
I could say the same about the flying spaghetti monster. You can't disprove that I'm a frog that can type. It's still not logical to assume i am.

Mining Help
Oh. I thought it was better, but i still recommend it as the "best" way, as it's so much less effort.

Want comp cape. What should i do?
Because i feel like training something right now at optimal speed, while I'm low on cash, and in between training i can do PVM whenever i want to, and make the cash for the buyables. Money makes money and if i train prayer for 170m I'll struggle to merch and PVM for more money with my limited bank. I'm not looking for a way to train crafting at 1m profit an hour with 30k xp an hour in place of 300k xp an hour for 1m loss... I'm looking to train fishing at 400k profit an hour 110k xp an hour compared to 0 profit and 115k xp an hour, for example. All that said, i bought the runes for livid farm, until the group veng spell. I can live with losing 10m, and the spells/xp will be quite handy. :D

Is there a God?
Well actually, religion is often used to create answers. While science is used to find answers. The very idea of "faith" is the exact opposite of science. They can only co-exist until science disproves an "answer" religion makes up. The tribe thing would actually be powerful evidence if they followed the game god, to very specific details, as Christianity, or any other religion. But to believe that there is an omniscient being that made everything is one of the most likely steps for someone ignorant of the truth to take. Humans are a curious lot and will always look for answers, it's a shame that this thirst for knowledge is impeded by con artists and attention seekers falsely claiming to have the answers.
