You have a fine start there, remember shading and texturing you did a great job on our project apply those skills here :) For the back wall try a rough texture like old stucco some cracks in the wall maybe etc. Good Luck :) ~Alduron

just let you know noob...your allowed to used images like scooby doo in sigs Looks up wonders why someone is throwing the word noob around especially when they are in the wrong :roll: All images are protected by copyright law and it is illegal to use them... the only images that one is by law permitted to use are ones you create yourself and royalty free stock images... @the author of this thread... as you have already been informed you cannot sell your images here but are welcome to give them away. You are welcome to give away images of any size but only images meeting our forum rules may be used here. I like what you have done, great job so far :D For the orb I would say if it is clear glass give it a slight blue hue with some lighter blue reflective markings... if that makes sense.. if not let me know and I will try to show ya a sample tomorrow. I am going to lock this... In my opinion the person that heads up such a project should: 1. keep it updated to avoid confusion. 2. appoint someone in his/her absence to update it (preferably someone in the 2nd post for ease of use). 3. not be abusive toward participants (especially when issues are created through his/her negligence :?) 4. never use offensive language and/or censor evade. Yup heard about it yesterday on the local news (I am from Phoenix, AZ) this guy is getting a house thats in phoenix. I think thats a very cool deal, lol. Calling all pixel artists, your talents and kindness are needed on the Gallery Pixel Sig Project. I cannot promise you fame or fortune but I am certain that completing these projects will be fun for anyone that is game, not to mention that warm and fuzzy feeling we get from helping others :). If you are willing to contribute please post your name on the posted link and feel free to tackle the linework (or start of linework for the first project)... if we get enough volunteers I could post two projects and we could setup teams...have a friendly competition with the winning team perhaps getting a banner to use under their sig as pixel sig champions or something along those lines :) Thanks for your time folks ~Alduron

Not to be picky here... but no you did not say you were new to photoshop...you said you have not used it in years... big difference. Had you said you have never used photoshop you may have had a slightly different response from these individuals... they are quite aware of photoshop being a powerful program that in the right hands is capable of producing amazing images. I would suggest you take a look at our faq & resources sticky and try out or at least look at some tutorials. For this particular image I have no suggestion on improvement as it appears to be just a cropped screenshot saved in a poor or low quality file format. My suggestion would just be to create your own image rather than relying on something you can just copy and crop. Good Luck ~Alduron
