It would help if you posted what program(s) you are using. As was already mentioned if you have a version of Adobe photoshop you can select save for web and in that window there will be usually next to the preset area (under the save cancel done spot) a small right facing arrow in a circle. Click on it and select optimize to file size (I use 29 kb) it will then compress the image to meet those limits. As a general rule of thumb to minimize filesize use less colors. Good Luck ~Alduron
  11. Modified it a little :) No sweat if its not what you are looking for :D It may help everyone out a bit more if you can give some ideas of colors you like or don't like :) ~Alduron
  12. Sorry this forum is for art/images that you create not re-posting of images you find on the net ;) Locked. ~Alduron

Those turned out nice the only thing i would say is add like a 1 pixel border to them to give them a finished appearance other than that good work :) ~Alduron

  17. Ooh a siggy for Jeppe :P can't wait to see what folks come up with :D ~Alduron
  18. Thats a real good start. I would suggest you take a look at the FAQ & Resources sticky as it has many good tutorials including ones on shading. Good Luck ~Alduron
  19. Not bad :) The writing is a bit hard to read (blends too well with the background) and there is a lot of empty space perhaps you could do something with that. Good Luck ~Alduron
  20. Alduron replied to Flamer's topic in Art and Media
The general look is not bad... however, I would agree with other folks that you could have a much better result if you did not use vector "type" brushes... it is also more fun and rewarding to create your own images from scratch ;) ~Alduron
  21. Let's keep out of this thread if you have nothing constructive to say pertaining to it... flaming buddies etc. is not constructive and no one asked for an opinion (translation - do not post). ~Alduron
  22. Looks good for a first, very nice work on the shading :) ~Alduron
