I've got two slate hulls, a rudder and a few more morale/combat clansmen to unlock then going back for gunpowder/bamboo and sirens voyage, hopefully get chimera voyage before I unlock next region too.

I am pretty certain it is based on the date you sign up for Loyalty Program, not the 30th. I didn't mean the date the 30th, I meant my DD goes out on my 27th day of membership, and my LP's get awarded on the 30th day of membership, that being said my DD could be the 24th September making my LPs the 27th September as an example. Sorry for any confusion in my first post

All this really confirms is your existing days of paid membership will be stored until you use up the years membership from the package, nothing about cost of membership. Gold package sounds amazing but i'm still dubious until I know 100% that my old rate will be honoured.

I remember reading losing your old rate if you lost membership for more than 2 weeks, so on that basis your old rate should be protected as long as you buy monthly membership back as soon as your years subscription ends, or within a 2 week period. Would be good to know 100% though, i don't want to lose my £3.20 rate either.

Loyalty points are awarded to me 3 days after my direct debit when my 30th day of membership comes around, DD takes payment on the 27th day. LP should theoretically be awarded every 30th day your a member. it has nothing to do with payment date.

Unlikely, from a 200mil'er view it will offer nothing that help get them to 5bil xp faster. PoP will have more impact on completionists seeing as story progression is a trim req.

Not happy with my barmaid's tip voyage, a charms and bamboo with 800 reqs across the board, very underwhelming, on a plus side my 4th scroll voyage, a plate voyage and a bounty voyage all from whaler, finally going to unlock vampirism scrimshaw.

Lol'd. Back on topic, I haven't done a festive event in years, and despite the free 200k hunter xp, I can't see myself doing this either. This is definitely a step up from recycled penguin hunt d&d's though. Glad to see Jagex returning to there seasonal quest events. If you can call this a quest. It was literally just go to 4 places, click on something, go back to start point, click 4 more times, talk to the imp and quest complete. More of a quest than find 5 hidden eggs/ghosts/*random seasonal crap* in 2 hours then repeat 'x' amount of times for a item that is not worth the time or hassle. Granted this isn't on par with previous years quest type events but sure as hell beats hunting D&D styled events.

her gossip/voyage may last all week, if you don't ask her about it thursday, it seems a weekly deal.

I'm looking into the scrimshaws over armour, armour looks a pain in the rear end to earn/upkeep. Scrimshaws seem more useful in day to day usage i.e. skilling/slayer

Considering that new mage armour requires 100 chi for one part, and most people have just received there 3rd scroll voyage and each set requires 12 in total (3 items requiring 4 scrolls each) I doubt we'll see full armours for a while still.

3rd scroll voyage, seems to happen every two days for me with only 2 heroes whaler and occultist. also finally got a musketeer 3 days late but still... :D So far I have all gun powder ship upgrades, warehouse upgrade and 5 guides, 3 bannermen, 2 overseers, 1 musketeer & 2 cyclops as my main crew, planning on updating some pirates with musketeers when I get lucky again.

How do you get siren mission? only had cyclops so far :/ almost 80% of skull done too...

i have 2 bannermen, 2 guides and 1 overseer, only saw musketeer on my roster first day when I couldn't afford and now I have spare gun powder I can't seem to get one at all. So stuck for combat relying on my two cyclops and brimhaven pirates...talk about bad luck.

Could be worse could've been during a ToG run instead of a port mini-game.

I only have fishing and rc reqs. and I am so far not limited at all in what I can do, other than expanding on the stories of the other heroes which isn't really an issue for me.

Second scroll voyage completed, and it seems scrolls go onto whatever your focusing on, seeing as I now have 2/4 on vampirism. Or i'm just really lucky (which I never am, so it's unlikely) I think ship upgrades > crew so far, now I have golden hull, reinforced figurehead (combat based one) and all gunpowder upgrades for deck I have nearly 50% of the skull reqs. before I add any crew onto ship. And i'm still completing some voyages with 60% success sometimes even 50% on multiple 3ks.

I was focused on vampirism, and my first scroll voyage earnt me 1/4 on vampirism, the real test will be if next scroll voyage gives me 2/4 on vampirism I guess

I sent my whaler on a scroll voyage and he left port after voyage removing his higher bounty voyage and his story progression voyage completely. On a similar note I did my occultist's story progression and she left port after to, removing her higher bounty voyage. Basically if you see a scroll voyage, do it first as you may risk losing your chance at a scroll if you a story or bounty voyage first.
