  1. Robert Douglas from the books of elita series by Kate Jacoby - extremely powerful sorcerer (most powerful of his generation) and skilled swordsman. Gambit from marvel/x-men - for his hypnotic charm, thieving skills and his ability to make any item deadly with his charged kinect energy. Plus he's just badass. Ghost Rider from marvel - nearly limitless energy, ability to create/wield hell fire, that bike, shotgun & chain and the Penance stare for particularly difficult opponents. Utterly invaluable ally for any adventures the other side of river Salve. Plus he's tied as my favourite marvel hero with Gambit.
  2. It's already been mentioned few pages ago, sinkholes are monsters the Goroja race fought before. That twitter post all but confirms it's something monster related not gambling related. Went to the FGU subforum on the RSOF and found some pretty interesting stuff It didn't occur to me until I read it that the NPC is actually a Gorajo, and a conversation you can have with a Sachem Deathslinger in Daemonheim states the following: [hide] [/hide] Additionally, watching the BTS video with French subtitles reveals that the Sink Hole is a new D&D. Interested now in how that will turn out - update teaser pics for this one should be interesting.
  3. A statue would be pretty cool. :thumbup: Giving Suomi a statue in-game would just make people complain that their favourite famous RSers weren't given a statue. But their favourite famous runescape players haven't maxed xp in every single skill have they? So that arguement wouldn't work at all, at least it would give the ranters something to rage quit about until new skils are released and 'ruin runescape' again.
  4. Most people who "find" bugs get bans or other harsh penalties. Why should Woox16 be any different? Because he told MMG that he was pretty or something? Maybe because he's consistently finding bugs in new content, and not spamming a single bug for say 200mil construct xp or massive amounts of money. But as with anything to do with Jagex..I doubt even they know in all honestly.
  5. She is still an important part of RFD, though, isn't she? Yeah I just meant it does alter her position slightly as it removes any canonical confirmation of foresight powers she had; instead leaving her just with the big spell she managed to cast. So sort of slightly lost the possible 'Guardian of Future' angle since her remaining powers are simply 'time' and as far as we know Death already guards that. Total sidebar: But talking of time, wonder if the key from Meeting History is the Elder Artefact Osbourne was alluding to being in our hands? It's very possible I mean what other item do we actually own that has the power to time travel (or anything that even comes close to that sort of power). Albeit a rather limited & crude time travel, it must have been forged by someone with substantial power i.e. a God at least, so why not make it an Elder God.
  6. Well seeing as 'Demon flash mobs' are on the Jan D&D... But 8th one certainly looks a bit out of place, I wonder if it has anything to do with the Demon Slayer remake mentioned briefly in a recent bts video; would make sense to bundle demon stuff together and if it follows remake trend thus far it'd included a new noob quest too. Ahh that does make sense then, not saw/read the January BTS yet, will definitely look it over once I get five minutes. ON a plus note, not a bad prediction for me considering i've not read BTS yet, flash mobs and quest, if that is indeed correct. A combination of me and Sy as far as I can tell
  7. Just watched the BTS, looks a fun thing to try, new armour looks really nice, really hope it's not too rare to acquire, and the crossbows are decent. Something I do find hilarious though, Jagex are continually pushing dual wielding yet have not fixed the flaws with dual wield + abilities, firstly KK with off-hand drygore and now a offhand c'bow over a shield for demon hunter armour. Also what the hell happened to the old lore that states demons have weakness to magic for unknown reasons or have Jagex forgot that little gem of information scholars discovered years ago.

  9. The first 7 pictures made me think some time of flash mob style D&D like goblins. The 8th picture makes me think it maybe part of a quest or something along those lines...time will tell I guess...
  10. I'd be more inclined to go with enter the last room of PP, giving elite task a level 91 req. Other than that maybe enter the KQ and KK lairs (possibly kill one of them?) Kill all slayer bosses in slayer well? Complete scarabas research? Speak with the 3 wise monkeys at monkey colony?

  13. mainly 3 games for me, kind of 4 depending on how you classify it. I am playing a lot of AoE3 and Hitman Blood Money at this moment, been playing runescape on and off after 99 fletch (currently 97) and still got a pokemon black run going on my ds that I started 2 years ago and not touched within 6 months roughly,(if that counts as a current game) So at most about 2-4 games. Normally I limit myself to 3 max, including runescape.

Jmods confirmed it was them way back when, but this has since kinda been retconed. 1) We have no evidence Saradomin can shapeshift and he looks entirely different in ROTM cutscene 2) Mahjaratt form got changed away from human which kinda overrides Zamorak 3) Guthix slumber being reinforced retcons Guthix being there 4) That particular easter egg dates from a time in lore when it was the old trio of gods being 'brothers' and being equal It's probably also worth mentioning that the Gods appearance in the old letters has been retconned too. Rather than discuss who Mark is referring too (as its highly likely to be Guthix) it would be more interesting to discuss WHY they are after him. My guess is they want him out of the way so he can't stop them from returning and whooping their asses. Maybe if they can somehow 'remove' Guthix and his influence from the world, the edicts will cease to exist giving them free reign to make there return and resume there war against each other. My question would be where would Zaros fit in here, he isn't bound by the edicts seeing as he was already banished before they came into effect. If he is indeed the equal of Guthix as Juna implies doing a Tears of Guthix story dialogue (something about his return truly restoring balance to the world). There is very strong evidence he is on the verge of making his return but will Zaros ally himself with Guthix to prevent any other gods returning to question his superiority as the only true God remaining in the world or help remove his presence for Runescape.
  15. I'm finally getting the complete collection edition of AoE3 sometime this week, absolutely loved the AoE series (owned AoE gold version and AoE2 + conquerors expansion) and star wars galactic battlegrounds based on AoE2 engine. What's the multiplayer like on AoE3 is it still active?
  16. But the dwarves are becoming more social, and sharing there technology eventually it'll have to be able to be player made.
  17. But engineering could enhance our use of gunpowder from clunky hand cannons/multi cannons to maybe muskets, small pistols & small thrown explosives similar to fishing explosives. Also the guns could have a slower reload rate to bows to make it realistic to real muskets too maybe half the speed of bows but deals 1.5x the damage of bows (say a musket can hit for 200, a bow of same tier would hit for 150) We can't stay in the swords and bows age forever can we? Also we could get partly mechanised pickaxes or hatchets for faster skilling/gathering. Possibilities would be near endless without pushing runescape too modern to lose it's current feel. That's my take on engineering anyway. EDIT: think i've been playing too much age of empires 3 with the whole muskets idea :?

  19. If your awaiting a call up, it just means you haven;t been selected for the first stage of closed beta (which makes sense seeing as closed beta started over 3 weeks ago nearly now). I wouldn't wait on that to change, just when you get an email from Jagex telling you you have beta access, sure open beta goes live early 2013.
  20. Finally got myself 6 combat clansmen, 5 seafaring clansmen and 4 morale clansmen, 2 overseers and all but 1 hull and 1 rudder upgrade to buy. then back to arc and skull for supplies to upgrade my buildings before I hit scythe region.
  21. Archaeology wouldn't make the items as such though, you could find say ancient warriors bones that are usable in the pocket slot to say boost your melee stats by 'x' amount. Or some idol that grants prayer bonus such as increased prayer points or reduced prayer drain when put in pocket slot.

  23. Something like this could be possible, jagex have already confirmed we will be able to add buffs etc. to our armours in 2013. A finishing skill could prove to be the missing link. As for the production skill my money is on archaeology, it's gathering, lore related, can be tied into other skills and most likely used with the pocket slot (trinkets/mystical items or bones etc.).

  25. I'm sure someone made up lore/guides before now for archaeology and another skill linked to it, gather and processing skills. It would be feasible. Rewards could be incorporated across rs as well i.e. temp boosts to xp in other skills, such as extra hunter xp if you discover an ancient snare/net trap etc. make it work like the xmas event bonus xp but on a smaller scale maybe 3-5k?
