Seems like I've missed the selection process for early beta access...again...ahh the disappointment of EoC and TU all over again...how bittersweet. On a positive note congratulations to all selected, post lots of screenshots! :P

gold/silver members are already technically getting the beta early, because not everyone is guaranteed beta access tomorrow still. On that note, hope jagex pick me for early beta for once unlike eoc beta.

Oo fun :) another beta i can get refused early access for along with EOC and TU..signed up though hopefully third times the charm.

In my experience, pokemon games all the way. Completed pearl, soul silver and black all while semi-afking runescape. Other than that on a DS theme, FF games are good to play while afking rs, completed FF3 and FF4 similarly to pokemon.

I 'd be surprised if any of the top 15 have kept qp up to date. Isn't it considered an xp waste?

Sounds a good deal for new players, but i've already paid for and own AoE+Rise of Rome, AoE2+expansion(forgot name) and AoE3+Asian Dynasties & Warchiefs. Amazing game series, one of the true timeless classics.

I found the easiest way to beat Enakra was to never heal, and just let her lock on and do her heal spell. With protect from mage in full melee gear I beat her with 100-300 lp, eventually she was healing for 10s and 20s and I was hitting 600-1000s with abilities, that being said I did get unlucky and she reset her heal spell once hitting me for higher damage than 10s & 20s and killed me when I was 100lp and lower.

Wouldn't the word "God" imply that Bandos is male? Otherwise, the word "Goddess" would most likely have been used instead. That is, unless the Goblins didn't know Bandos' gender themselves/were too stupid to know the difference between the two. Is there any references to Goddess' in RS, or are they all refered to as God regardless of gender? Isn't Seren referred to as a Goddess at some point? other than that maybe Bandos is called a God regardless because no-one we spoke to yet has seen him/her 'in person' and everyone has stereotyped Bandos as being male because of the Big High War God mantle they hold? As far as I recall Bandos has only ever been referred to as Bandos or Big High War God in lore.

Kharshai. Would be a good laugh if they made him the child of Guthix and Seren :P If it had to be an NPC it would have to be Hans imo. he was the first NPC ingame and it would just feel fitting to have him be the descendant of Guthix and Seren.

So you're saying the player is the descendant of the daughter/son Guthix and Seren assumedly had? That... makes a lot of sense actually. Either a decendant, or Guthix and Seren's actual child. Who knows how long there child could live for being born from two God's union, we'd pretty much be immortal/ageless. Perhaps our destiny is to complete the work that our father started, banish all God's from runescape with new edicts, but because we don't know we're Gods no-one would follow us blindly and therefore worship us thus ending the reign of 'God's' in runescape. The 'God's' is in reference to the type that are worshipped, which we wouldn't be. Even though we'd have Godly dormant powers to protect runescape for future ages. I went with descendant mostly because the player it's stated to be mortal (and even human)... Also because the player's conception would have to happen relatively soon when compared to 5 ages (now 6), and that doesn't seem possible when one of the parents is well... sleeping. I highly doubt the player would've survived thousands of year keeping his godhood unnoticed, especially if you're the son/daugther of Guthix and Seren. HOWEVER, the player's origin has always been a vague topic. We just know that the player is relatively young, but still older than characters who appear to be in their early 20s; some people say the player is 25, others go as high as 30. At least we now know that the player has some connection with Guthix, and that he's basically a godslayer now. Perhaps the final revelation would be that the player is indeed a god with no memory of his/her past, and he/she must leave Gielenor eventually. Perhaps Seren wiped our memories of our heritage when Guthix fell into his slumber and set up the edicts, to protect us from the rest of Runescape, a lot of people would've been pissed at us considering our father single handedly destroyed the northern plains and banished all there God's. Our amnesia could've been permanent? or maybe we'll regain our memories when/if we meet Seren ingame. Pure speculation can be interesting sometimes. I get where your coming from Muggi, but it's been pretty obvious from the start our character has some significant role in the future of runescape, that is the one downside to an MMORPG I suppose, if runescape was single player RPG they could have molded our behaviour/acts ingame to be more believable.

A possibility for the Guthix/Seren lovers scenerio, what if they did have a child, and it was us, but neither Guthix or Seren have any memories of it? It could explain how only we could open the doors in his resting place, and the fact how God's magic doesn't affect us anymore, what if when Guthix shared his power it awoke the dormant God DNA (for lack of a better term) within us, without anyone even noticing. Probably completely incorrect prediction, but it could be possible.

By the sounds of the notes posted on this page, it seems they are more than likely lovers, but maybe they do have a child, could explain why people think Seren never left possibly (to care and shield their daughter from being discovered.)

I have the solution..but people aren't going to like it... Go back in time, stop the 07 servers returning, ???, profit.

wow..not played mechwarrior game since playstation 1 game release (the nostalgia!!)..the game does look good I admit. Assuming this game is an MOBA, if TU fails will definitely be an alternative game to consider.

I am sure I read somewhere here that this thread wasn't just about who was the first to get 200mil all (this was obviously going to Suomi) but a place to discuss strategies and training methods for players to achieve 200mil and how well the other top 14 fared in there goal. That being said it's sad to see such a thread seemingly die out, just because Suomi is practically 100% there -1xp, was always an intriguing read especially the weekly recaps/reviews and time calcs. Gl to all the players still striving for 200mil all.

"God against God" And his belt has Bandos' symbol... I think we can be reasonably certain that that's him, since he is fighting Saradomin... I know its a reasonably assumption given the context but since we have no prior confirmation of such an event occurring we cannot 100% say that it is Bandos - only that it is certainly someone on the Bandos team. I mean we only can say Guthix is Guthix because he is literally introduced as Guthix and shown doing the things Guthix is doing. Zamorak we only know because he is shown doing something we know happened. Saradomin we only know because we've seen him before. Nothing in the video or in other lore give us a 100% confirmation that the pig-faced guy is Bandos himself. But at the time that clip was shown it said God vs God, then went to two followers with the line follower vs follower or something along those lines, then the line about fighting there own masters and the clip of Zamorak stabbing Zaros. So based on this evidence it seems that we did indeed see Bandos. But nothing is for sure until we see it in-game.

People still seem unhappy on rsof, Jagex did a typical half ass effort of PR, simply apologizing for a delay was not enough this time. There is still no word on what caused this delay, at least have the balls to be honest Jagex, was it delayed so you could prioritise your nostalgia servers or genuine issues with the quest? That is the question that everyone cares about and until they come clean it's just going to rub players up the wrong way and no matter how many 'extra-cool surprises' you throw our way won't take away from the disappointment and anger players are feeling towards the company and these 07 servers. In all honesty this quest excited me enough to come back and maintain my QP cape, now all the excitement and hype for this seems to be dwindling away, I just hope JAgex make this quest as good as they're promising to make it worthwhile after such delays and false hope. EDIT: if this is precedent for future updates, Jagex better get there act together and learn to prioritise updates correctly.

I don't see how this is causing an issue, Jagex clearly stated in the poll that anything under 500k votes would incur an additional $5 on top of current rs membership. If 500k votes were reached though the additional fee would be scrapped and membership to 07 servers would be inclusive with runescape membership. It really is that simple... :?

Would you be surprised to learn that grimy herbs were added in 2007? There was a lot of scamming done with unids back when we had free trade... :razz: Unids were released late 07. After this supposed build. grimy herbs were released september 07, this game is supposed to be from the august 10th back up..so should have unids ingame tbh..basically what jay said.

Early cash will be from stronghold (one off 10k) monster drops, selling items & thieving I'm guessing, be a while before anyone can high alch, considering the fact no runes will be mass buyable until people rc and sell on. Also runes will be very expensive for a while, so will probably lose cash high alching items, just my opinion anyway.

Ah fair enough when you said state of the art I though you meant a brand new windows 8 pc that cost like £800-£1000, my mistake. It can run most latest games on max settings. Runescape itself runs at max settings, everything enabled, at a consistent 45+ FPS. The problem isn't that my PC can't run it, it's that I simply can't access the content as it shows up as "Enable Local Storage" even though it IS enabled and my graphics cards IS up to date (NVIDIA GeForce 660 Ti, released last September, so it shouldn't be too outdated) and my Chrome IS the latest version. I seriously don't know what the problem here is, but I'm quite sure it's Jagex's fault. If your using chrome have you got any extensions that could be stopping access to your local storage? or other than that maybe your internet security software is causing an issue?
