  1. Good god. This topic is still going? I thought it died several months ago.
  2. How do we know if these are actually bots? I thought Jagex took care of the majority a few years ago, but obviously from what I'm hearing, they are still around. Jagex can detect bots now a lot better than they could a few years ago. Now sure where I'm going with this, but I'll wait for a reply.
  3. Crap, and here I was going to buy 2k Dragon bones for 81 prayer. So much for getting bones at good deals.
  4. Update: 133 days 4 hours playing 1999 total 108,530,555 total exp Average: A little under 34k xp/hr
  5. Because I have watched these players grow and retire, I have seen my fair share of famous players that come-and-go. 6. If memory serves me correctly, I usually get around 100-120k xp per hour at 88 Thieving doing Pyramid Plunder, but I heard that people can get 200-300k per hour if they are at least 91 Thieving doing Pyramid Plunder. Is this true?
  7. This looks like this is for a bit of fun. I'm only average, but for the heck of it, I want to be on the list. What was your previous RuneScape name that you are listed under on the highscores?: Don the Weak What is your current RuneScape display name?: Snake Slith What Tip.it highscore list(s) are you currently added to?: P2P Best of luck to the rest of you in the rankings. =)
  8. Well, this certainly brings some memories back. A lot of those people don't even play Runescape anymore, which is a shame.
  9. You know, Jagex really did sneak this in after I was expecting them to release possibly a new quest or a bug fix update. It's strange too, because I've had this account since early 2003 (I own a pair of Bunny Ears), so my total playing time is only 130 Days 15 Hours. I just surpassed the 100 million experience mark, and it turns out my experience per hour is 32,257. Not bad, but not great either. What I'm wondering is how some of you manage to complete every quest, max every skill, and still manage to rake in 50k-100k per hour. To me that's pretty amazing, since not every skill lets you get massive amounts of experience (Runecrafting for instance). But my first year was spent on Runescape Classic, where it was harder to level stats and complete quests. It is much easier now to level stats to 99 than it was on Classic, so for those of you who already maxed out (look at N0valyfe), I appreciate the hard, grueling work you've done. High levels tend to gain 2-3 million experience per day, because of the higher frequency and better options they receive. Maybe someday my total experience will surpass the number of days I've played, in terms of ratio. But then, of course, I sadly had to quit in June of 2006 due to personal problems I won't mention. I've come back this March, and I felt left behind (I didn't even know where the Grand Exchange was). Now, only moments away from getting 2000 total level, I feel that I'm making decent progress, and a little bit of a comeback. If I didn't quit during that three year gap, I probably would have somewhere around 2250 total by now. By the way, here's my log.
  10. Very good. I don't have patience for 90 slayer, so. :(
  11. Two Dragon Claws? You are very lucky.
  12. Pretty good. I was going to level Herblore but then I found that the herbs I was using doubled in price.
  13. I'm only going to say one sentence to you. You have no life.
  14. Good good. Get everything else to 99 when you can.
  15. Very nice stats. Certainly beats mine. You should tell me how to raise magic up quickly since I have neglected that skill for so long. Go for 2100. =)
  16. Pretty good if you ask me. Getting 80+ would be a real achievement, but will take some time. By all means go for it. =)
  17. Add me when Grand Exchange was already out for over a year and I didn't even know about it.
  18. Television has entertained a great number of people since the technology was first put into use in the 1940s and not into full gear until the 1950s. It has went through many changes, starting with the simple, black-and-white TV set that only had 2-3 channels. Those who were lucky enough to have seen all changes should be proud of them. So before we step back and announce our favorite Television Shows, please note that any show that began in the 2000s (21st Century) does not qualify. Remember that it has to be a show that countless millions have enjoyed over the years, and ones that kids will enjoy watching in the future. That being said, the limit I will allow is up through the late 1990s. Anything else beyond that isn't eligible for being a classic show. After that, just feel free to post any favorite classic show that you enjoyed, starting from the Golden Age of Television to the Bill Clinton era. I'll post mine: I Love Lucy (1951-1957) The Honeymooners (1955-1956) Leave it to Beaver (1957-1963) The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968) I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970) All in the Family (1971-1979) Sanford & Son (1972-1977) Saturday Night Live (1975-present) Diff'rent Strokes (1978-1986) Taxi (1978-1983) The Cosby Show (1984-1992) Duck Tales (1987-1990) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987-1996) Family Matters (1989-1998) Seinfeld (1989-1998) The Simpsons (1989-present) The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990-1996) Tale Spin (1990-1991) Ren & Stimpy (1991-1994) Beavis & Butthead (1993-1998) Gargoyles (1994-1997) I will add more shows to this once I think about them...
  19. I want to hear people's opinion concerning the state of Reality Television, how you've enjoyed it, how you hated it, etc. Any comments are welcome. Please discuss how it has entertained you, how it has ruined television, or how it has influenced you for future notices. Once I hear a few words going, I will add my own personal opinion.
  20. Please refer to the Rant topic I made here a while ago. The sad thing is, I started on Runescape Classic. I own a pair of Bunny Ears, and there are already thousands of players who have achieved higher lvls in half the time that I was around to see the game evolve to where it is today. I guess I'm not that fast at skilling.
  21. Let me say this.... after last logging in on January 22, 2008, some things have changed around here. This is perhaps the longest time I went without logging in. If anyone wants to continue this thread, then go ahead. I may keep the sig as I just started Runescape up again in March 11, 2009 and quit on June 2006. Wow, how time flies. Welcome back parties anyone? :
  22. Wow, a bunch of kids ranting about how bad Runescape is. I know it's bad now but cmon, there are better and more efficent ways to deal with things than to simply charge at them like a baboon. I'm glad I'm over 20.
  23. I can help you out with the famous players bit. Cowchicken was one of the first to reach 99 firemaking. Also had 99 woodcutting and was once ranked #1 on both skills. Thehate was formally a player with the most 99 skills. Also the first person to reach 99 agility. M Oldfield was a high ranked player for a long time. Truly one of the first pioneers in overall skilling. I don't know if he ever got #1 overall. L6vi is a former number 1 player, and was high ranked for a long time. This was however, before Tks took over. Ltangel, although still playing, was the first to reach 99 crafting. What's amazing is that even a year later no one else had that high of lvl after she accomplished her goal. Swedemike (I believe) is one of the first to reach 99 thieving. Don't know about the rest of them. It's been too long since I've stepped into Classic. I can name a few pkers that were famous (and some are probably banned) but I'm too tired right now. Going to go to bed in a few min. :?
  24. It's gonna be a very dreadful Christmas for this year on Runescape. Or should I say, Black Christmas.
  25. CaJ replied to Shazarabbit's topic in Rants
I quit a long time ago my friend (Summer of 2006 to be exact). I tried coming back to play Runescape, and now it's never going to happen because of the direction Jagex wanted to go. Looks like this will be a Black Christmas for this year. No Party Hats, no Santa Hats, no Yo-Yos, nothing.
