Did we forget that there is a new skill coming out later this year? Did we forget about the raw footage we saw in a video on the Runescape's Youtube Channel? Did we forget about the likely new Fairy quest with new graphic additions? Did we forget that these updates will come out this year? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Come up to me and tell me those are not REAL updates. Get a grip you guys. You people favor radical change, but when it comes, you same people complain how it has affected the game and how you want it back like the 'Old Days' were.

Autoing is illegal, of any kind. Botting is simply asking yourself for easy levels only to find out the next day that Jagex permantantly banned your account. Just play legitimately and follow the rules. I don't know what else to tell you guys. General information.

First off, you need to say up front, why you are grinding this minigame to gain up ranks. Do you want to become a member of the Front Page? What is it man, because by the looks of it, you are forcing yourself to play to grind, thus not really enjoying the game. You are making yourself sick of a minigame that was supposed to be there for fun. Maybe Jagex removed chatting in the minigame because too many people were saying to others how "They are better than you." Whatever the reason, it is probably for the better. Who wants to be playing a game only to be insulted all the time? Would you go through a lot just to get insulted? So you feel lonely by not speaking? You don't have to play Mobilizing Armies. I only see your greed and selfishness to gain a high rank just to make yourself on the front page.

Please, you people are making mountains out of moleholes. If you want the statue, then I suggest you do training methods that earn you the stones as stated by Jagex. If you don't want to be hesitated by them, you can TURN THEM OFF at the Varrock Museum. It's that simple. We don't even know the entire story behind this, and this is a relatively recent update that needs a chance to stretch it's legs. So what if you don't get all the pieces in a preferred time limit? It's a part of having a challenge and adventure in this game. Those are two values that this game was built on. Don't try to tell me that is not true.

What the flying bullcrap does this have to do with Agility? Either post what that skill has in connection with these useless weapons, or GTFO.

Jagex made them untradable for a reason. If Extremes were to suddenly become tradeable, then Super Attack, Super Strength, etc. potions would be deemed as weak and feeble in comparison. If you want to argue that BoB should bank Extremes for faster kills at TDs or God Wars, then you might find yourself on the winning side. I feel that Supers are good enough, whether people on here think so or not. Think of the untradeable holiday rares. If Jagex made the Bunny Ears and Scyte tradeable then that would just be another way for people to gain ridiculous amounts of money based on luck (where you had to be there when they were dropped). They quit doing the tradeable holiday rares, and I'm not going to write an entire essay of it here. My view on this is that Jagex will eventually allow Extremes to be bankable for BoBs. It will be introduced in a major update that will be included with other tweaks/minor updates. Extreme potions will make killing monsters faster and easier than what Super potions did. There is a difference. Thus, the game has to be BALANCED. Making Extremes tradeable and possibly bankable in BoBs will make the game easier. Just admit it. I don't support.

Aragorn, if you want to quit, do it quietly. Doing this on Rants is the worst way to have others support you. Feel free to use the back door. Countless players, including veterans, have used that door to announce their retirement. Yet they did not make a scene out of it because they were smart enough not to threaten themselves to quit or complain how Runescape has gone downhill, blah blah blah. Goodbye and good riddance.

Polo, do you want to feel free and tell us if you miss your childhood? Because that is what I am seeing on here. Personally, I miss the 1980s and early 1990s. Anything I see from those times is pure nostalgia. Your entire post on "OLD SCHOOL" is pretty much nostalgia, but unfortunately you fail to provide evidence. Old School is NOT 2004. Old School was the years 2000 to early 2004. RS2 was and shouldn't be considered old school. I'm not seeing middle-aged people in here dwelling on the past. I'm seeing young kids that are dwelling on the past. Shouldn't you guys be out having a goodtime at parties and making friends that actually matter?

There is NOTHING in society that is flawless. Manipulation Clans, yes, they ruin the game. They gain profit for their benefit, not investment. But what do you expect any of us to do? Knock on Jagex's polished door and demand that all of them "Be Taken Out!?" I think all of you need to realize that Jagex is well aware of the issue. If Manipulation Clans pose a bigger threat to the point where they leave a permanant mark for the future of the game, then Jagex SHOULD address the problem not only to their own staff, but also to the every-day players of Runescape. We've already discussed how the RWT updates had to be done, and how the Grand Exchange presents it's own problems. That gave birth to the Manipulation Clans we see today. I have not joined any of those clans, and in my personal view Jagex should state they take away a lot of the excitement that goes with playing the game. Everybody will in sometime in their lives be a bit greedy and want a bit of a boost. It doesn't matter if they regret the decision, there will always be people who want to be a part of the Manipulation. When the era is over and the clans collapse, something new will start off and a new generation emerges. It happens both in real life and on the Internet. I played Runescape to have a bit of fun and escape from reality. Such debates like this one are trying to bring Reality into the Gaming World, and considering the tough times we live in, that is NOT what I want to see. And please do not put REAL LIFE ISSUES into a game that only a select few play. You're basically comparing apples to oranges. I understand some of the issues that manipulation has put on people in the past. If you want to compare petty distractions at the Grand Exchange to problems that affected the real life world, then feel free. None of us should have to sit and feel that we're taking ECONOMICS right on Runescape just for being at the Grand Exchange.

So TC, what are you asking for, another Bonus Weekend? Do you want those skills you listed to have 99 on your account just instantly? They present a bit of a challenge and that's how they should be. You should realize that the game itself is already pretty easy even if you are slightly experienced. But obviously, you like things to be given to you on a silver platter.

Repeat topic here, about how someone's luck is down and can't obtain all the pieces. I've sat for weeks at Metals, days at Tormented Demons, and countless hours of Cyclops. I never had a Visage drop, a Dragon Claws drop, or even a Rune Defender drop. Yet am I complaining? No, I move on and realise that the game has always built those things as Chance. You want those four pieces? Would you rather buy them on the Grand Exchange instead and not work for it? This is more whining than it is a legitimate rant.

I've had ping rates in the 800s-900s.

This generation has lost it.

Javelins were bad weapons to begin with. I can only see them being improved if Jagex tweaks them to give out better accuracy and a higher damage rate. Those two factors would convince more people to use them. It took me quite a while to sell the rune javelins I collected from slayer drops on the Grand Exchange. Throwing Weapons and Darts are bad as well. The Dragon Longsword and 2-Hander certainly aren't given respect either. It's all about the Whip and the God Swords these days.

Old School is those people who played Classic and prefer to train with ways that were more popular years ago. Skill Capes have definitely put an effect on the game, meaning that more players are going to show them off to prove that they achieved a high level. That's why so many own a Strength, Cooking, and a Fletching cape because those are the ones that are easier to get 99. Before, it was more of a decision to get to 99, rather than get it to look cool.

MMORPGs are highly competitive games that people from all around the world play. But simply asking for your account to be deleted just puts to waste everything you achieved when you started Runescape in the first place. Quitting is fine. Your account won't be active, but at least it had work put into it, even if you are in the low ranks. Why should people who play this game to be popular a major concern? You are going to find those people everywhere, not just on Runescape. Clearly, at this point in time we should know that every MMORPG out there is going to have a fair share of idiots. It's your choice whether you want to quit a game and fondly remember it, or force Jagex to delete your account putting to waste all that time you've invested in your character. I highly suggest you rethink your decision before one day you will stumble on a game you used to play many years ago that you want to try out. Your likely to forget your old account, but whether you want to get back on it or start from scratch is up to you. You are only repeating what people have said in the past for years now. I agree that Runescape has gotten somewhat pathetic in recent years, but that doesn't mean that Jagex won't help get the game back going to where it used to stand. But since you are an idiot for putting this up in the first place who won't be responding, say congratulations, you just wasted my time and others. Good riddance to an [wagon].

The ones who are complaining, are the ones who want every piece without having to work for it. You can always turn the stones off if you obtained one. Just go to the Varrock Museum. They are optional, not a requirement.

Nobody is forcing. Nobody is forcing you to even play Runescape. You play for your own enjoyment, not for others. I see nothing wrong with this update. It provides a bit of Adventure.

You should do what's best for you, not others of whom you don't even know that try to bring you down.
