    Barrows

This happens to everybody. Be patient and don't whine to us about it. I've killed thousands of metal dragons and NEVER got a visage, but am I complaining? No. That's just a part of the game and the way life is.
  2. There are very few people I talk to, and it's because I feel that the players as a whole have become more mean spirited and brash. You can play the way you want but please don't try to bring people down when they're vulnerable. I meet friendly players every now and then, but I don't appreciate stuck up kids who feel that they have to bring pain to others.

    Hatred towards birthdays

Well one problem is that this topic is full of trolls itself... Just let it go guys. I happen to think that most of you are only contributing to the problem, NOT adding any sympathy.
  4. You have wealth that I only dream of having. I thought Crafting costs a lot more than that. Surely I can probably get 99 with little to no problems. Any tips on how I should level from 77?
  5. I'm glad you posted the Adventurer's Log. Keeps track of how you progress. I'm planning to get a Dragon Pickaxe drop too. Is it particularly rare?
  6. I really should be doing that. I hope Cavefish will be alright because I have 86 Fishing.
  7. Appreciate what he had gotten you low life idiot.
  8. You had the complete benefit of having the Grand Exchange, Stealing Creation mini-game, and the skills overall being a lot easier. I started this account in 2003. I took a 3 year break. I don't play every day. I recall the fastest skillers back then only gaining 30-50k xp per hour. It is now what, 300-700k xp per hour? That's insane.
  9. Crap, you beat me to it. I do remember you in Classic having rank 1 in either Woodcutting or Firemaking. Not too sure, but I'm pretty sure that 200M xp in Fletching, Cooking and Firemaking would drive anyone crazy. Congratulations though.
  10. Cooking and Fletching top the list. Firemaking to a certain extent is not that admirable because it is cheap and easy to level, so long as you can concentrate. Runecrafting and Slayer are the most admirable because both take a lot of time to get.
  11. This update FAILS... for now. But so were Slayer, Farming, Construction, Hunter and Summoning when they first came out. We'll just have to wait and see.
  12. I need to try this out. How do we forget?
  13. That's just the kind of attitude that limits those who live in rural areas to NOT have Internet access. So if I played for over eight years on Runescape living on a Dial-Up connection while somebody else got the same stats that I did in a much shorter time period because he lived in a more populated area with fast Internet, would you consider that fair? The answer is no. That's just how I feel about the situation today as I'm seeing players who live out in Europe to have the best computers running Runescape in Full HD while sipping a Coke. I don't have that luxury. I appreciate that I got to where I am today and I get ticked off when people who have better service than I do take it for granted. So out in the more rural areas, people are living in the past. I don't exactly have the money to go move to a place where I can actually get fiber optics in a good sized town or city. I didn't like Dial-Up from time to time, but I felt happier with it moreso than Satellite, which had ridiculously high Ping rates. With Satellite I had gotten 500-1000 Ping, and that was on the servers that were close to home. I was paying over $50 a month for a service that had a lot of downtime. It's NOT recommended for Runescape. I've tried it, didn't work out in the end. Normally, rural areas get services that cities got decades ago. If such a economic bubble didn't burst to the point where the majority of middle class citizens would suffer, then surely, I would probably be somewhere else by now. Keep in mind that I've had Dial-Up for nearly 15 years. I gained Internet access before a lot of people even knew how to work it. Now I am on the short end of the stick while others out there are getting the best deals at a low cost. That is not fair, in any sense. I can relate to anyone who has slow Dial-Up or no Internet to finally move on to something better when they later realize they can't get better services. Only complaining because I am fed up.
  14. I see this all the time. I think once I actually got a message from Jagex saying that I was reported for being brash to someone who kept shutting the door on me when I was training Cooking. This kind of behavior is bullying. On many occasions you will never see 'said' player again, so afterwards you realize that the situation wasn't worth getting all worked up in.
  15. So says everyone else.

    shattered heart

You my friend, hit the nail on the head. What he said.
  17. I see what you are saying. Recently I've ran across a lot of players who have developed the attitude standard that you explained. I blame today's generation. They want and ask for a lot of things that they really don't deserve. I just go for a 99 because it was either a goal or it was something I wanted. I never forced myself to do anything on Runescape. These newer players try to fit in to be 'cool' and when they become more mature they realize how they made a fool of themselves.
  18. I just kill Armored Zombies for my essence. Got 20k or so over the past month. Sold for profit.
  19. I did whatever I could to get to where I could make Oak Larders. Then just go on from there to 50 Construction. Very easy actually.
  20. I am upset that they have been rising at a constant pace over the past half year or so. I was fine with them being 2.5-3k each, but now they are over 5k each. Not good if you were planning to train Prayer in the near future.
  21. I could say Ivy ruined Woodcutting, but I think I'll stop there. Also, I'm thinking of getting 99 Fishing in the future. I'm not looking for a way to profit, but a way to speed train. Barbarian Fishing I hear is still one of the fastest. So I have two options: Shilo Village or Barb Fishing?
  22. A lot of people associate Stealing Creation to speed training. Crafting, Construction and Smithing are now viewed as SC skills because by using SC you'll be saving money. What better way to save money than to purchase a new armor set or weapon?
  23. do unstrung ruby ammys sell? Unstrung amulets are bought by those who String Jewelery their way to 99 Magic. I don't know a lot of cheap methods, only the more expensive. Crafting Air Battlestaffs was a good way to level Crafting back on the old Runescape. Don't know if it's that good anymore.
  24. No, I'm just saying that as general information. I have played in the past, I have pictures to prove it. Thousands of players have gotten 99 Mining and 99 Fishing as a result of Living Rock Caverns. You kids have it much easier than we did. Yay for easier 99's lol  Of course, everyone wants easy 99s. But look at Cooking and Fletching. They are viewed as nothing more than a joke because they are ridiculously easy.
  25. That is basically saying you're better off burning Maple Logs over Magic (Firemaking) because you'll be saving a lot of money in the process. If you are rich enough you can make Mahogany Tables starting at level 52 while having a Demon Butler grab the planks for you (paying him 10k each hour). Of course, a lot of players don't have 150-300 mil gp to spend so more of them use oak planks to save money. Construction is a very fast skill to train if you are reasonably wealthy and have money to burn. It is a money drain skill and those who grind their levels end up losing money than making a profit. The method you put down is slower but more profitable. If my opinion, profiting your way to a level is not the same as power training.
