I was extremely impressed when Halo Combat Evolved came out. I was used to playing on the PS1 and N64 at the time. Co-op Halo was probably my favorite old school gaming experience.

I was 11 or 12 years old and some kids were playing this new computer game in comp class. So I gave it a try and was hooked.... and thus my downfall into obsessive runescaping began.

Whoa! I didn't know so many games were 2D! Way back when, me and my brother created a WoS world called WaR. It had a lot of dark humor, and original writing. Its still on my Dads computer and isn't quite finished. We have like 20 different character classes such as Demon Knight or Holy Knight. We also wrote a different story for each class, with ultimate equipment for each class.

And whats with the combat system? Swing sword 3 different ways? Running and attacks cause large fatigue losses?

Beautiful! Still theres a lot of running around searching for a monster to kill. That wouldn't happen in a much funner to play game like Diablo III where the whole game is power leveling, dead demonic monsters by the 50s.

Ok.... Character profiles should show your PKs, Deaths and Death by PK. The world should have PKing zones just like the wildy. Aw shucks, Im burnt.
