I think we lost communication somewhere. By luring, I mean bringing someone to a dangerous area under false pretences to get them killed. That is, and always will be, against the rules as item scamming. Bringing the DK's around to kill someone isn't luring, it's kiting the monster over to where it normally wouldn't go in order to get it to attack other people. Kiting is not luring, and I haven't seen any games where that'll get you banned. Survival of the fittest indeed, I regularly knock people off of the world who want to "share" as a pretence to "I'm going to take advantage of you maybe being generous". When it comes to competition, I'm not generous.

Don't start this stupid debate again, it was confirmed a good long time ago (last year) that luring is against the rules and can get you banned. Why do you think the wilderness has a physical barrier around it now?

I don't want a definite range of hits. What I want is more consistency. At level 106, now 107, a monster shouldn't be going agro on me and suddenly hit a consisten 140+ damage over 15 or 16 consecutive hits, when the same monster would normally hit maybe once or twice.

Um...No, I said they should make it more consistent. A black demon suddely going agro and hitting: all in a row is not consistent when 99% of the time it never hits that hard, that fast.

Safety Gloves are for new players, IE: F2P'ers that don't have 40 range. Obviously it's not going to be the best of its kind considering how easy it is to get.

I don't use them personally in the duel arena, but that's just a choice not to use my pots there. But yes, there are a lot of hypocrites in this game. Best thing to do is just lay back and laugh at their naive idiocy.

At the time of this writing, I have 80 defense. My latest slayer task was Black Demons, of which I can usually kill 1-2 per monkfish. Just now I was finishing up the task and both of us hit 3 0's in a row. Then the Black Demon barraged me: 7-9-14-10-12-14-16-12-5-8-3-6-12-10-0 That's almost 140 damage done, all in a row. Instead of using one monkfish per demon, I ended up using twelve monkfish overall because, after this, I was hit for another 40 damage over the course of the fight. I understand there's a random number generator deciding hits, but it needs to be more consistent. The fact that, at 106 combat, I also hit 4 0's in a row (with a whip) against a level 2 man just goes to show that this system needs to be reworked. Armor protection needs to be consistent, and weapons need to be consistent. And that goes for Mage and Range as well.

I was in Clan Wars free for all, safe area. Just fought a level 108 (I'm 106 p2p), and had 6 health left. Then a level 80 comes up with a dds, says "gf nub" and uses all four specs: hitting 0's each time. I kill him, him having full health, hitting me once for 5 damage. Amazingly, didn't die until after the matter. Thank you having private chat on friends.

Oh absolutely. The last time Jagex announced a sequel coming out soon after the previous in the series, it was Contact and that was over a year after the previous quest had come out. The Summer's End/Spirit of Summer series made it clear that they do have the ability to pump out a quest, and its sequel only a month or two apart, and this update has been in preparation for over a year now (longer than Recipe for Disaster), which means spirit of summer may have been in just as long if it is related.
