  1. I stopped bothering with PVP and the wilderness because of the attitudes of most of the people. I've never bounty hunter'ed and I plan on using the no-drop free for all update this month, assuming there are rewards for it. If you hate something in the game, only use it when you absolutely must. For example, in the old wilderness, doing the mage arena was extremely annoying because of the people who would camp the bank teleport.
  2. Wrong. Every player sees the screen before they opt to join or observe the game, so someone is bound to see the change. That being said, if you can con an entire clan into clan-warring with drop loot on, you may just be playing a clan of complete morons.
  3. Ok, let's overlook the content of the game, but because a number of players have bad attitudes or don't let you get phree expee in FOG, the game is a piece of crap and Jagex hates their players. Right, call us back when you stop pounding your fists on the floor and wipe the little tears from your face, and finish your world class hissy fit. It's not the game that is pathetic, it's you and the fact that you're responding to this like a 5 year old complaining to mommy that the kids across the street called him a poopoo face. If you can't handle some stranger over the internet not playing by your rules, then not only is Runescape not for your, the internet may not be for you either.
  4. Everything is bad for you if not taken in moderation. Even water can kill you if you drink too much of it, or if the air you breath has too much oxygen in it. This topic has been talked to death, do we really need another "omg runescape can ruin ur lyfe?" thread?
  5. I never said it was fake, just that's the reason it looks fake. As for it being real, Nukearcher would've deserved it if he'd been banned, considering he used it several times to kill people at Bounty Hunter.
  6. Question answered.
  7. LOL, people on your video comments said you were using a private server. That's because DDS speccing a 53-53 is impossible. Even if you were to find a glitch that gave the DDS +100000 damage, the most you could ever hit on a player is how much health they have left, as the system will never have you hit more than the person has left in HP.
  8. One year teasers? How long have you been playing? Runescape has 3+ year teasers.

Yea, those idiots! How dare they enforce the rules on a game they own!!! Oh wait.
  10. I just had a thought: Jagex doesn't allow appeals for most temporary mutes because they're temporary, right? So if the blackmarks become temporary, and I hope you see where I'm going for here, then they may be removing the appeal section as there won't be a need for it as they'll either be degradable or impossible to defend against anyway. Blackmarks will be temporary, the bad rules will stay permanent, and if you keep your nose clean you won't have to worry about appealing anyway.

Wahh Jagex ruined the game and Runescape sucks now so instead of crying like an 8 year old, I'm going to go back to my life- :-# Oh wait. We hit this exact hitch every time.
  12. Banned accounts, that's the keyword. I don't think they're doing it for other accounts, just banned.
  13. Exactly. I am 19, and when I joined a Garrys Mod clan two years ago (They had a ventrilo server), they thought I was 30-odd from the sound of my voice. Generall when I type on the RSOF or other places, I'll get a response like "What are you, 40? Get a life, dude" from the people flaming me.

Guess what, you and your little band of "Those who DK frequently"? The rest of us could care less about what you agree on. Funny how your post goes from "Most DK'ers" to "Most DK'ers who go frequently", and I'm assuming that if I press you again on, once again, giving me proof of this agreement, you'll make the number to an even smaller "Those who DK frequently in my clan chat", all 10 of them. Your word alone is not the will of God, neither is whatever your little group agrees on. You have your little elitist group that considers yourself above everyone else because you play a video game more than they do and thus have PHD's in the art of monster drops and can tell everyone else what is and isn't good enough to be on your forums because, as you love to bring attention to, they are your forums where your opinions rule as universal and all must follow them. You're entitled to your opinion, yet you're not entitled to tell Tip.It to stop people from posting their drops just because you and your rag tag team of kiddies don't think they're up to your standards. And if you're not actively seeking to make them feel bad, why are you supporting a thread with the exact purpose to tell people that if they put up 1 item drops, they're apparently some sort of sub-human filth not fit to use these forums?
  15. More people will whine and complain that there are too many kids in the game and addictinggames product will join the line of X Products, such as miniclip products, rs2 products, pc products, and products in your grocer's freezer.
  16. Yea, why should Jagex make players strain themselves to type in all 2 of those extra letters to get a proper word. What country does Jagex work from? Pretty sure we're sending our money to aid in the new Soviet Regime.

I'm not condoning world crashing, but look at it this way: At any given time, there is only room for 82 single players or groups to be at the DK's without "world crashing", and even less for lootshare worlds, and as a result you'll find only a small fraction of members will fill up all 82 members worlds at the DK's. World crashing may be looked down upon, but as long as there's no chance of you intervening physically, most players could care less what a small group of anonymous people over the internet think about them. Unless you can get me a signed affidavit from "most" of the dkers (note, your list must include those who disagree), I'm going to call bull on your statement of "most dk'ers agreeing", as this flux of threads in the forums and world crashers would suggest otherwise. You are not, as you suggest, "entitled" to do anything on these forums, once again you are not the owner nor the admin, you are entitled to absolute zilch. It is not up to you to decide what happens to threads that are perfectly in the rules, just because they don't impress you enough. I called you an elitist because you set the standard based around your own experience. If it's not good to you, it's not good at all, and that is not how these forums work. The Forum is called "Rate This!", not "Rate This! If you can't buy a party hat with your drops, don't bother posting, lulz".
  18. Probably a conspiracy by the other fansites. They realised that Tip.It is way more awesome than they are and our community is much better so they formed an alliance to try and take us down! :ohnoes: Joining forces to take down one opponent better than all of them combined? Reminds me of... I had to do it.

You did? You'll have to point it out to me where you said that. All I see is you agreeing that welfare dk'ers are taking up, ahem, your space, and then you clarify by saying it's not an exclusive problem to DK's. I also couldn't help but laugh at the last part "which we shouldn't encourage", as if anyone here had actually spoken out in support of griefing at the DK's or any other spot for that matter. "However these people are taking up worlds for those who actually dk for a living, it is unfair on a higher level to be crashed by a trio of inexperienced people, especially when it happens on a non-ls world." Yea, that's the problem when what you say is down in writing, people will actually see it, read it, and might even take what you say at face value. And as for making you seem like a "douchebag", you did it yourself with this: "People don't post every single Barrows item so I agree people shouldn't post what they think are "amazing trips" Once again, the forums do not revolve around your definition of what is an "amazing trip", and if you want higher standards then set up your own forum. If it isn't about crashers, then it's against players you don't like posting their drops. That is called being an elitist, I suggest you look it up.

That's called the "I have nothing to back this up, so I'm going to pretend to not care so I don't have to admit I was in the wrong"
  21. From the Herblore Guide: Weapon poison (p) Weapon poison+ (p+) Karambwan paste: Can only be applied to spears (kp) Weapon poison++ (p++) It's not Jagex's fault you can't pay attention to the game.

I can tell you in my 5 years of playing, at 107 combat, I have never gotten a drop better than a Dragon Dagger (p) (When they were around 65k). Even at my level, were I to receive anything worth over 1m as a drop, I would probably flip [cabbage] and post it on the ratings forum as well. If you don't want to look at them, the answer is simple: Don't look at them. Last time I checked, this is the Tip.It forum, not the Skully_Sc.IT forums. You don't have an admin priviledge, and you're not Andrew Gower, so it's not up to you to decide what is or isn't a 10/10 achievement. If players decide to rate it 10 to be nice to the kid, so be it, and last time I checked there wasn't an asterisk on the membership benefits saying *Note: Your ability to enjoy certain members benefits may change based on how other player's perceive you as 'wasting their time'" Of course, if you can point that out to me, it'd be grand. It's elitists like you that take your own accomplishments and set it as a universal standard for others to follow. It is elitists like you who have contributed to this game's player base being seen as nothing but arrogant children. And to SirHartlar, once again, If it took them two hours to kill one single Rex, they would still have just as much of a right to be there as you had. They pay their 5-7 dollars a month, and I doubt they paid to deal with other player's problems. And to be honest, if someone fought for 20 minutes straight and got an expensive item out of it, I'd like to think they were working very hard at their goal. If anything, they deserve it more than someone who can just rush in and say "Hey, DK? Bam, dead. Number 2? Bam, dead. Number 3? Bam, dead" and so on and so forth. Like I already said, even at 107 combat and 71 slayer, a dragon dagger (p) is still a great trip. A 600k piece? A godsend. 1.7m piece of armor? Don't bother putting it in my account, i'm already dead from shock.
  23. It depends on my mood. On one side, I'm a complete nerd and just love crunching numbers to get the answer I'm looking for (For example, I have to kill 150 black demons, how much slayer exp will that get me, as well as combat and hp exp) and on the other hand, I hate looking at video games from a "businessy" standpoint. It didn't really bother me when the wilderness ditch came out, nor other mini-games and updates that allegedly made certain skills to easy, harder, or slower. In my 5 years of playing Runescape, I can say I've never done any mindless grinding to get my levels (Highest right now being Fishing), which is probably why I don't have any 99's. I go by more of a slow and steady, quick enough that I'm not still training on Goblins several years later, but not so hard that I burn out my interest in the game becaue I'm so terribly bored with it. Keep everything fresh. I can't tell you how much exp you might get fishing monkfish per hour, but I can answer any question about any area in the game. I'm more interested in the lore and story, not the grinding.
  24. Did you give those fire watcher weenies 5 logs to look after the fire? I did the first time, hardly did a scrap of difference. I'm going for my 2nd attempt now, if I fail i'm never trying again unless they make it easier. Definitely not going for the gloves and the highest one considering how hard it is already. It's sad coz those gloves look hawt... another couple items i'll never have  Try explaining that to the people who can do the mini-game fine with maples.
  25. They never called me to an interview... You all know full-well I'd of made RS a hell of a better place. For about 6 months until Jagex goes out of business, or all the employees mutiny to keep the company afloat. Whatever happens first.
