  1. Would it be possible to have buttons for the launchers as a toolbar on the bottom of firefox? I don't like using Runescape on Firefox (I prefer the client), but these tools are still really handy.
  2. That's 3.6 million dollars a year they lost. They will be profiting by 7.6m when people have to pay the new rate, but A) American dollar sucks B) People will have to be cahrged the new rate gradually, over time. 3.6mil a year is pretty small in comparison to an overall of at least 60 mil, more counting those who can't pay by credit card and have to pay more for different services. I highly doubt Jagex is putting all of their revenue back into the company.
  3. If you hadn't noticed, there's more than 500 music pieces now
  4. I don't think any skill is necessarily easy. They all take a lot of time and a lot of patience to go through. The way I see it, they can only be compared to each other in terms of ease of obtaining. The skills that are considered easier, such as cooking, fletching, and skills where you do little clicking, are supplemented by the mind-numbing bore of powerleveling that skill. Otherwise everyone and their sister would have 99s in these levels. 50k exp per hour is still 260 hours of leveling to get to the 13 mil for 99 prayer.
  5. It's only a dollar more. With all the recent updates, it's worth it. I'll have to do this in 2010 when my credit card expires, though.
  6. I'd also like to mention that when you alienate the entire RSOF (99.9% of which are the children you want to have set to quickchat only until they turn 13 in 5-6 years), you're certainly going to get a lot of angry responses. Just defending their own interests. And there wouldn't be twenty threads daily on the future updates forum saying "lolz, I want horsies pl0x jadax. iz least u cn do aftger taking aaway pking an runing the game"
  7. That lemon slice alone is bigger than his entire head. Wow.

No, but I'm not hired to do that. I disagree, there's everything funny about laughing at Engrish (Look it up, it's a real word). If you ever visit a country that doesn't speak English (Preferrably Japan or China where they try to translate everything into English. Mexico doesn't count), you'll understand. It's funny seeing a gate with a sign that says "Caution! Don't lean on the gate. The gate would fall down when lean on it. It occurs you Trouble." Search "Engrish" in google images, you'll see what I mean. Gold Farmers are also too lazy to find a real job. I saw an interview someone did quite a while ago of a WOW goldfarming company, most of the people were making money to pay for college, they're not all poor and destitute as you would suggest. Either way, they're still criminals and a lot of them steal accounts and credit card information (Exhibit A: http://whaticall.wordpress.com/2008/06/30/epic-fail-2-spy-sapping-my-account/ Exhibit B: http://whaticall.wordpress.com/2008/06/ ... ape-story/) Saying Goldfarmers should be left alone because they're making a living is like saying credit card theives should be left alone. Wahh, they're only making five dollars selling your identity on the internet for someone else to ransack your credit and destroy your personal and financial life! And speaking of stolen credit cards, where does the legality and ethics of using so many stolen credit cards that the company you're leeching off of for cash ends up almost getting shut down? Gold farmers were an annoyance that many of us could deal with, yes, but last I checked a lot of pkers I spoke to years ago said they would only start caring about gold farmers when they had an effect on the game. Well here you have it. Your manner of painting a pretty face on a criminal corporation is akin to the Dark Knight movie, the Joker having a permanant smile carved into his face because "why so serious?". Hey, the goldfarmers are good people, just like you and me! Well, as long as you don't pay attention to the fact that they're practically hiding in third world countries to get away from the arm of the law, they're stealing credit cards and using stolen credit cards, and scamming quite a few of their own customers. What? No, don't pay attention to that! Look at the kittens! LOOK AT THE KITTENS!!!!!
  9. What's to say Jagex doesn't set up a few accounts to slowly pump party hats into the game when the supplies run low? There can only be, I'd say, a few thousand of each rare left. People get banned, easter eggs and pumpkins accidentally get eaten (Dunno why you would have it out of the bank without it being noted, but whatever). But the introduction of third age and god wars certainly made a few people sell their rares to buy the new armors and weapons.
  10. The riots were nothing, they were only on a few worlds and nobody really cared. What really annoyed me was the christmas poem they all started copy-pasting on every single thread.
  11. No he didn't. He had a different hat before the bank robbery.
  12. There is no cash reward, period. It was explicitly said by Mod Ash that there would be no reward, period. Rarex is just pulling things out of thin air to call them facts.
  13. Daggers are well known in fantasy settings to be the prime melee weapon of mages (They're perfect for, say, extracting blood, and carrying around in robes), and a backup for rangers. It's not really that odd. Here's an oddity: The rubber chicken has -100 stab and slash attack. If that's negative, wouldn't that make you more likely to hurt yourself when fighting with it?

You're fine having hundreds of chinchompas in your backpack (Can't be too comfy) next to food they can't eat and sharp weapons and items, then throwing them at creatures to make them explode, or selling them to another person who will do such a thing, yet you're disgusted by the morality of being able to kill them uncaptured. That's called a double standard, or in this case, just a bait and switch spam thread.
  15. Also like to point out: That's not clan wars, it's a separate pvp area coming out. It will have the same "dangerous" effect as clan wars. Drop your items, but no looting. There will be rewards for this, as far as I know.
  16. I smell sarcasm or he bought his account/got it off a friend who quit. Leaning more towards got it off a friend who quit.
  17. But that is the spirit of the game. Everything he's suggested is already in the game. The more experienced in skills you are, the more you can do. The longer you've been playing the game, the more items you have to show for it. I don't really understand the purpose of this thread. It's asking to improve runescape by making it just like itself?
  18. No way, Dae. Would make Runescapers on laptops (without usb mice) at a disadvantage.
  19. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed. The quest cape doesn't look as white anymore, it looks...dirty and grey.
  20. I can't say I'm surprised. The RSOF is the sewage tank of the MMO forums, and a LOT of the forum mods have no idea what is and is not against the rules when it comes to the actual game, and usually even the forums. I used to make a thread every now and then in the future updates forum discussing the player owned stores that Jagex announced in 2004. I used the behind the scenes as evidence, and every time the same mod would close it and tell me to use the suggestions forum. You'll find a lot of people no longer use the RSOF, especially now that the marketplace forum is more or less useless thanks to the Grand Exchange.
  21. Yea, that's why Jagex isn't giving a reward at all for winning clan wars.
  22. Wrong. I took the libery of moving to one of the other threads I frequent, a comprehensive list of the plans listed until that thread was un-stickied and drifted off to die. I took out the parts for item lending because it's already been released. Clan Wars -There will be an option in Clan Wars to drop items upon death. Other players will NOT be able to loot your body however. -The ability to end the game when the opposing team is under 5 live players -Block Melee/Range/Mage/Summoning options as well as blocking certain spell books -No Food/Prayer/Potions options also available -New arenas to fight in. -Clan members will get the option to either join or watch the match when the challenge is made. Random Events -Random Events will not be removed, they will be "retired". The Drunk Dwarf is planned to wander around Runescape as a static NPC like Bob the Cat, handing out kebabs and beer. Jagex doesn't want to just "remove" them from the game. -The kept randoms will offer a choice of rewards, with possibly new outfits. Other -The graphics update to the friends list IS COMING. The graphics team is very busy with the aforementioned updates, especially with the new detail level. -There are two new free for all areas coming out, one that is drop on death and one that is safe. Think Fight Pits but not having to wait for the round to end. No rounds, no rules, and clans will rule it. We're not going to see it -Clan rewards: Clan Wars will not give decent rewards, as confirmed by Mod Ash, due to the threat of Real World Trading. -Registered Clans: There isn't going to be a highscores or official clan list. The game engine, website, and other systems cannot handle such a load, or the complexity of a clan database at this time. No. It was specifically said by Mod Ash in the thread that there would be no prize for winning Clan Wars, and that players should not expect it. Anything dropped on death will be gone forever, unless the rules allow for players to come back in.
  23. A concept such as even teams is something that should've in the first concept stage. Every other team-based mini-game has forced equal numbers on teams. Wow, I believe this is the first time to disagree with Omali. You don't have to be even for clan wars. Agh, forgot about clan wars #-o I was referring more to the paired-with-random-partners mini-games. Castle wars, trouble brewing, those kind of mini-games.
  24. So buy pure ess now, and sell it when the price skyrockets. I fail to see how this will become an epic fail, aside from prices rising. So more people are runecrafting now, big whoop. That will all end once people get bored of training and go back to their normal tasks in a week.
