GE Express 0.6 Beta - Runescape GE Client
I love this program! Edit: Although it does have some bugs where prices just randomly won't show.

blessed with a curse
Yea, because buying membership only during the summer obviously means that's all you do, all summer is play runescape. Some kids are only allowed membership during the summer because their parents want them to focus on schoolwork during the school year. Others are college kids who need all the cash they can get to pay their tuition.

What next for G.E? Prevent manipulation?
Yew Longbows probably weren't the best example, but still: Kudos said you should just buy an item because you actually want it whether or not it goes down, not to merchant with it. My example with the unstrung yew longbow is that the grand majority of raw materials are not bought by people who are looking to turn it into a finished product and keep it and use it to train, with the possible exception of cannonballs. Instead, such as with the unstrung yew longbow, they are turned into yew longs, and either sold back onto the market or high alched, but either way the factor of cost and plays a big part in it, and it is sensible to speculate whether or not the prices will drop overnight.

Jagex final blow to free air running
Ok, adding in law and nature runners, so it's made .05% of the skill less convenient. Also: Jagex's rules > Player's rules. I'm not condoning it, but there's no way Jagex can make lying about your skills against the rules without this popping up all over runescape: Player(quickchat): My Fishing level is: 68 Player 2: My fishing level is: 999 lolz Player: OMG REPORTED 4 IT3M SC4MEENG Player 2:

warhammers and maces shouldnt be counted out all the time!
Since you've made it painfully obvious that your knowledge of warhammers and maces spans 2 seconds of reading the Runescape dragon weapons page in the knowledge base, I don't think we'll be needing your enlightening services.

What next for G.E? Prevent manipulation?
If it gets to the point where the whole economy is being fubar'd by a small group of players, and that is what is necessary, then so be it. Yea, because I'm sure the main market for unstrung yew longs is people who are buying one of them to string and keep. #-o

No cape for pures?
99 attack pures are neither a skill, nor an achievement, so putting it in the Warrior's Guild doesn't inconvenience anyone.
-
What next for G.E? Prevent manipulation?
I think they need to lower the limits on some of the items. Is it really plausible that someone will need 5k gems in the span of four hours? Or some of the other limits far too high for their actual use?

God Affinity and RS PKing Worlds
Why does something have to happen to Varrock this month? It's a quest, you're blowing it way out of proportion.

Jagex final blow to free air running
This game has people complaining that the HD requirements are too high. Never underestimate how many people probably still run off of a computer that can't run multiple applications, let alone multiple tabs. It'd be easier just to program quickchat to put that little bubble next to your name when you quickchat your level, so you know who's telling the truth.

Jagex final blow to free air running
The easiest thing Jagex can do is allow players to advertise a level above their heads (except in pvp areas) for assisting. It is virtually impossible to make lying about your levels against the rules without pissing off a whole lot of people.

Lack of Tree spots? ;S
I could find an empty location for every tree in the game, most of them are close to a bank. Do you think all 2000 players are going to be chopping yews at the same time? Assuming the server is even full, I doubt much more than 1% will be chopping yews.

Jagex final blow to free air running
This could be a good rant if you weren't wrong on practically every single point you've made. The December updates didn't kill Runecrafting, it made running harder. Boohoo, Jagex made .01% of the skill less convenient, they're clearly out to destroy runescape! Or should I say, RUINEDSCAPE lolZ. The fact that Jagex limited it to 30k daily tells you what they think about running as a way of training. Wow! More players runecrafting causes ess prices to rise? It's as if you have no idea how basic economics work! Jagex changed the air prices? Can you prove this? Last I checked, the players buying and selling set the price on the grand exchange. The way you say it, it's as if some Jagex employee said "Hey, look, Air Runes. 14gp? Pffft, 10gp MOTHA[bLEEP] HOW U LIEK DAT?" Please, let's stop with the omg-jagex-conspiraceee, it drives your argument into the ground about as violently as a plane crash. It's not Jagex's job to make sure people aren't lying about their runecrafting skillz. Last I checked, inflating your e-peen wasn't against the rules I don't see anything about lying about your skills. To your "I hate the idiot" thing, ha. Because I"m sure Jagex stood around a table and said "Hey, we all hate runecrafters (especially mauranius. Really, what a crybaby), let's figure out a way to ruin the skill! I know it's our game and therefore our passion, but let's ruin it. Why? So some kiddy can tell everyone else that we're ruining it, that's why!" And to retort your suggestion, I hope your next plan of action is to clean up your tears before they short circuit your keyboard and do some research into your argument rather than play the anti-fanboy (The opposite of a fanboy who praises everything, the anti complains about every little thing) We don't need more of Jagex's updates? Who is this "we"? Stop including myself and the other players into your barely intelligible drivel. We don't agree with you because none of your points are valid, they just come back to "omg Jadax hats us! RIOT IN FALADOR, N00BS JAGX FANBOIS"

Runescape : good for you ? or bad for health ??
Get a laptop with a screen that doesn't create glare. My laptop doesn't.

Fair enough if you have all 99's, but you only have one 99. I mean, come on, I'd be ashamed. Since the message didn't sink in the first time: It's not up to you to set the standards for the TIF and what other players consider an achievement. Also, if your biggest concern of the day is what anonymous people you don't know are considering achievements, you have all the concern and responsibilities to worry about of an 8 year old.

I could care less about your stats, so why bother even having them? I hope you see what I did there. If I remember correctly, a signature is meant to be your name. So putting your runescape name and stats is pretty understandable on a runescape forum... :? There's a spot underneath your name for your RSN. Posting your Runescape achieveements in a Runescape forums seems just as understandable.

Returning, what's new?
You misunderstood. Every item now has a market value. What that means is that you can't go above or below 3k of the item's worth. On the Grand Exchange it works 5% above or below, but you never know who you'll be selling to or buying from and nobody's really sure how priority and pricing works.

We dont need circus (closed)
This isn't constructive criticism, it is whining that the update wasn't for the grand exchange or the pvp update, and therefore should never have been put in and runescape is going to crash. Typical whiny doomsayer. Um sure, just keep telling yourself that it's me and I'm here to make sure no one is committing a thought crime.

This update isn't "low quality", it's just considered low quality by the same group who whine over everything that isn't an uber-quest with uber-whip player killing wilderness free trade pk lulz NOOBS update. His sentiments are shared by many others? Well news flash; although your head is far too inflated with your own ego, there are a lot more players who are content with the update and enjoying it. Free players don't count, as they can't use the updates, so that leaves members. The people who have expressed their contempt for this update add up to a whole .01% of the entire membership base. You need to get over yourselves and realize that not every update is directly intending on pleasing you personally, and that there are over a million paying members and several million f2p'ers who also play this game. Just because you don't like an update or don't want to use it, doesn't mean Jagex should scrap months of development to satisfy your whining. Really? Remove it from the game? Are you that daft that you think they're going to remove or cancel an update just because a small amount of vocal children will [bleep] and cry about something that has no detriment on how they play the game? And don't start on the "they should listen to the community", because most of the updates today came from them listening to the community. If the game is going the way I think it is, Distractions should be updated several times and may eventually replace random events alltogether with something more voluntary for players to indulge themselves in for useful rewards. The restrictions are to keep people from getting all the rewards in one day and then not bothering, as well as to keep the exp rewards from being overpowered. Finding the penguins, doing the game show, and watching out for the odd star won't top the list as the most exciting update of the year (I'll reserve that spot for the uber quest), but they are certainly a welcomed additon and a change every few days from the monotony of skilling. When more Distractions come out, they'll be able to span an even longer range of time, and you'll have various activities to do every day for a bit of exp here and there.

This looks like it was written by a 5 year old. Wahh, da update not pee vee pee, wahh!!!! The game isn't going to crash and neither is the economy. You doomsayers need to get over yourself and your "I'm right, you're wrong, because I can make spooky and cryptic messages of DOOM" mentality. "The clock starts and Runescape had its days numbered" ooo spooky, almost out of a fairy tale. Ungrateful child.

Runescape is dying. Topic is back after a few months -LooK-
I have, and I want you to quit too. And it was at this point that, to anyone who had their doubts, Rarex proved himself to be a troll and a crybaby. You're not going to influence people to quit with your immature drivel, you couldn't influence your way out of a cardboard box full of your tears over runescape.

Inapropriate ads
Jagex doesn't choose what ads they put up, their advertising agency is basically thrown several hundred various ads based on their preferences. Some ads get through the barrier though. There's nothing Jagex can do about this other than pick them off as they come, and they're not doing it intentionally. /thread.
