And if you'd paid attention, the farming poll was released at a stupid time, when most people who said they didn't like it probably hadn't even tried it, or were higher than level 3 in it. OMG cart000ns! Noobs! Children! Did you notice it's only angsty 12 year olds that whine about the cartoons being kiddy? Get over it, it's a Java game in a fantasy setting, and you're crying about cartoons in a development diary. Guess what, most other popular MMO's use cartoons to! What a stupid and baseless argument. You can? Please tell me this secret to dying by yourself in a remote location and getting back in time to pick up your stuff! Especially if you lose connection and your stuff automatically gets deleted, yea, that makes the game way easy! And obviously not smart enough to quit. People have been saying that for years, it's never proven to be true. Why do we correct you? Because you're an idiot, and bringing your half-assed comments to light is not only hilarious, but shows the true immature children that populate Runescape. What does Jagex give you for obsessively crying, pissing, and moaning all the time? Nothing, so why are you still on Tip.It? Are you that stupid that you haven't figured out how to quit a game you obviously hate? I bet Jagex could come to your house, punch you in the gut, smear feces all over your door and porch, and light your mailbox on fire, and you'd still continue to play their game (albeit more pissing and moaning). You're like if someone built a machine to spit out random complaints. They're not witty, they're not original, and most of all you have no ability to take in criticism without pulling the "jagex puppet" routine, a copout for lack of intellect. The game is going to end one day, and your work will be for waste either way. If you're not going to enjoy a game you play and just play it for the sake of it, then you're doing it wrong. I've been playing Runescape since 2003, but if they pulled an update that made me not enjoy the game anymore, I would drop it like a sack of bricks in an instant. It's called having common sense. I used to love this game's community, but players like yourself are making a free-fall drop in quality and intelligence.

How is this hijacking your thread? Aren't we still posting pictures of fake skills we made in mspaint using youtube videos that don't even show the outline of a sailboat? Hold on, there are rocks on the island! bricklaying skill? The cape looks kinda like an arrow pointing down, as in PUTTING DOWN BRICKS. No wait! There's an ocean. Do I smell pulling salt from said ocean and selling it on the market? The cape does look kinda like a sieve. No wait! I can't believe any of you daft noobs didn't think about this. Dragon, Island, Boat, Player, Staff, Cape, Ocean. Clearly it's Player Owned Islands that you receive by reclaiming them from dragons via boats that are filled with horse riding and sailing skill capes, where you leave the boat to come across the staff with unlimited runes in it but you're in 55 wilderness with other players, and the dragon drops the mythical Dragon platebody, but only once you figure out how to train your uncooking level.

For those of you too young to remember, there's this thing called broadcast television. Companies pay the broadcasting studios to play television shows FOR FREE for viewers across the country. In exchange, the companies are allowed to show their advertisements during the broadcast. The more popular the show, the more the studios could charge the companies for showing the advertisements because more people would see them. So, while F2P may not be paying directly to play, someone is paying for them, much like some of your moms and dads are paying for you to play Runescape. You get a hell of a lot more money for television advertisements (millions) than internet banners. Take the super bowl for instance. It costs millions of dollars just for an ad to appear for 30 seconds.

If you don't want the risk, make a noob account and level him up enough to be up to standards with someone who would date on Runescape. What I don't understand is how you could mooch off of someone this way now. Most of this happens in f2p, and the most you can get is 3k every 15 minutes. Hardly the "Let me wear your santa hat, I'll look cute in it" that we once knew.

You see a post, all I see is nonsensical, barely coherent or literate, drivel. As for the customer support in WOW, it's a lot easier to hire customer support (in India, I may add) when you have 10 million players paying 15 dollars a month as opposed to over 1 million paying 5-9 dollars a month. Andrew isn't pocketing the money, and it's not Jagex being cheap. Maybe if Runescape wasn't so populated with idiots such as yourself with nothing interesting or intelligent to say, Andrew would be able to listen to his community more without suffering a stroke every time from the blatant crybaby tactics you use in all of your threads.

Because it's true. What's with all the f2p *crybabies* such as yourself thinking they're entitled to whatever they want, without actually paying for the game? What a surprise, haven't been playing long enough. F2p has a lot of things presented that they can't do. The start of the Lost City quest, HAM entrance, the skill cape emote. If Jagex follows their business plan with Funorb, which is to make fullscreen a members only device, then they will do so with Runescape, and probably mechscape as well. Or, if anything, f2p will receive a scaled down full screen with an ad at the top of the page. It could go either way.

It's like a kid getting a free ice cream cone and then throwing a temper tantrum because it's too small and there aren't sprinkles on it. I mean that in that both are complaining about something they should appreciate is free to begin with, and both are children prone to crying tantrums.

I don't mind when someone says "let's share them", assuming I'm in the mood to share, but if someone starts out making demands or saying something is theirs, you can bet that I'll be forcing them off the world, be in dragons or hunter spots. Nice story though, what an idiot.

If that's what you report for, you should've been banned a long time ago for abusing the report system. Maybe they accepted it because they felt bad for you, in a "look, he probably doesn't have a life outside runescape, let's give the kid a break". I sure do. I've never had a problem with Jagex's customer service. I've only been given a blackmark once, but that was from a whoopsee on Jagex's part (put in my name, not the person I was reporting) and it was removed almost immediately (like 30 minutes later, didn't appeal or anything) with an apology. Thus I can still conclude that you were guilty to begin with and deserved whatever punishment you were going to receive.

Fake pictures go in a fake pictures thread, not in General Discussion. And as for people taking the piss, ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.

You gloating about your runescape girlfriend you'll never meet is like gloating about that shape you carved into your leg with a pen knife. It's disgusting and pathetic, and nothing to boast about.

It's people like Chaos that remind us that a couple of years of playing Runescape does not guarantee you won't waltz into the forums and make an idiotic thread proving you have no idea what you're talking about, much like this one.

If you're getting achievements solely for the "I have it you don't" effect, you're going to be solely disappoint after a while when everyone starts catching up.

Or because a large portion of the Runescape forums that vocalize their opinions are whiny crybabies who throw tantrums every time Jagex as much as fixes a bug in the game. You'll find players like that in every MMO that's ever existed, does that mean that it's never been done right? Urrr, no. Only a tiny amount of players dislike every update jagex does, and the fact that they're still here after all this time shows that they don't really hate it as much as they claim, otherwise they would've quit and gotten a life a long long time ago.
