Thanks for nothing" was nothing more than a big tantrum as to why you couldn't do massive stakes, so Jagex shouldn't have put it in in the first place, while at the same time f2p seems completely contempt with being able to safely fight one another without the chance of losing items. It's just you whining about it. You also brought in NO valid backup for your points, and how it's suddenly worthless because not every feature was brought over to f2p (the tournaments). Isn't it weird how people take rumors and turn them into facts, almost like magic? The god pages are still listed in the knowledge base for treasure trail rewards, I'm going to take Jagex's word over your rumors.

We all know that updates such as Summoning and Construction were withheld because of limits to the engine, as Runescape went through several engine updates usually before these updates were put in, and Runescape2 came from a need for more freedom in upgrading. Anyway, I was thinking: What if some updates are being withheld until the graphics update next month? We know that Jagex found the Java engine to be mature enough "two years ago" which means they've been considering it for even longer. I'm talking about the mahjarrat quests, the endings to some of these great series that have been going on for years and are bound to end in epic battles, such as the fighting up north. Why have it shown on the old runescape graphics when you can use these amazing quests to show off the new hardware rendering? I'll bet you anything that some quest is going to come out next month to showcase the amazing new graphics, something that's been in the works for a long time.

I have some ideas that will cause a lot more people to shut up on forums (I'm not referring to this thread, you'll see what I mean) 1. Anytime you report someone for offensive language, encouraging others to break rules, scamming, or anything to do with speech or trade, they are put on ignore automatically and cannot be removed for at least a day. This will stop someone reporting the same person multiple times and also fix those with no common sense to put the person on ignore. 2. As for the limit on reporting someone, it should be rule based. Each rule would have its own time limit. 3. I dunno about 5 reports per week, it should start at 5 and go up or down based on your report history. 4. I love the idea about the stronghold of player reporting. Maybe release the final Stronghold of ___ and make it a requirement to finish all 3 before you can report? Those can be easily done by a level 3. 5. Instead of the chances, Jagex should just roll out blackmarks for misusing the report system, it's already on the rule list. 6. Absolutely to D

That's why I've always loved Jagex. They have the ability to put in an update to the game after months-years of it being consistently addressed, and then when it is added, they make a comment like "Thanks for bringing it up". Sometimes I think Jagex may have a quota of players that need to bring up an issue no matter how big or small before they'll fix it. :geek: Edit: Then again, they probably needed to fix the shape so when textures are released next month, the square shield halves will actually look more convincing.

Of course riots work. The longer people riot in members worlds is longer Jagex is getting paid for it.
