Thats your excuse for anything skill related. I think even though you wont get as much if you sell the second Items from a gathering based skill like woodcutting, you still get rewarded with EXP and can use that high level to make more money back. Thats why I've been farming for my Herblore...only problem is I keep forgetting to go and harvest my herbs 80% of the time :wall: PS: on a side note, I thought you were talking about XP Operating System, then I looked at the top f the boards saying rants and had a facepalm moment. #-o That is the reason for everything skill related. I mean, look at what we were doing with skilling before skillcapes: Curing diabetes with herblore, ending world hunger with fishing and cooking, tearing down the rainforest with woodcutting, building homeless shelters with construction, hunting dangerous beasts with hunter and slayer, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor with theiving, and making kickass parkour videos with agility. Now Runescape isn't doing those great things irl. We just want skill capes. I'm not going to make any for-sure accusations, but for someone with as many 99's as you have, why do I get the feeling that account used to belong to someone else? There's a reason blogscape has maybe four people browsing it at any given time; After the first one, they're incredibly boring. It's usually not read so much because people care about someone else's progress towards max combat, but if they're looking for tips on how the person is going about their work. We think that because it's been two months since the removal of behind the scenes, and in that time only one of the 130 odd Runescape developers has anything to say, and it's "hey guys. Quest. Dwarf. Proceed with speculation, gotta go". As for several per month, I'll believe it when I see it. I'm still saying; the Behind the Scenes are coming back. They've done this before, they'll do it again.

Apparently you haven't read any of the development diaries. I suggest you take a look at the Runescape vs rwt, the summoning dev diaries, impetuous impulses diary, etc. If Jagex is going to continue to pump out one dev diary every 4-6 months, they should at least have taken longer than ten minutes to write up, and have more content than "sup, gonna start this content now, brb" As I've said before, the meaning of the Dev Diaries being a blog thing where devs say what's on their mind is fruitless when Jagex continues to have nothing to say. They'd be better off posting Mod MMG's clan chat logs, he gives out more information in a single day than three months to make a new dev diary.

I would much rather know what they're working on and have it delayed, than be kept in the dark other than a bi-monthly "sup guys, check me out being personal and stuff, oh by the way this isn't anywhere near completion so uh...bye" I can see this going the same way as the last three times Jagex said they were getting rid of the Behind The Scenes. Expect a Behind The Scenes June.

In normal Jagex cryptic fashion, I have the feeling this has a lot more meaning than they're revealing right now. Speculators, we all know I normally don't trust you enough to get my morning coffee without screaming bloody murder about some hint or another, but I think this merits some investigation. I'm going to look into what areas the gnome copters traveled to to see what exactly Jagex doesn't want advertised to nonmembers, maybe one of these areas is going to be axed/updated. It was never a game of skill. Clicking more does not equate to skill, skilling in Runescape has ALWAYS been a game of who can play longer.

I was. It was a jab that any time Jagex updates ANYTHING, someone is bound to say it's ruined. And they always end it with "gf" and "guna go play wow" So there you are, several things that are ruined all in one update.

Well he does have a lot to do with the direction of the company in regards to its overall goals, and he's doing a lot better of a job than Geoff Iddison, especially in regards to the community and f2p. Mark Gerhard wants to make the game more fun for both sides, Iddison just wanted publicity.
