Random event npc are conspiring against me
Maybe they're setting up a background for the "If you complete it a lot, you don't get it as much in the future" thing

Tip.It Times: 15 Feb 2009 "Mark Gerhard & Scams Addressed"
I don't wanna sound rude or anything but... who are you? You always post a bunch of inside facts about Jagex as a company, so do you work there, or are you just resourceful? :-# In any case I liked all the articles this week, but my favorite one was the invisible History Article written by yours truly. He runs Mechscape world, but the "Jagex phoned me up" thing is an extension of his ego. Jagex doesn't "phone people up", otherwise Tip.It would be phoned up every week.

Frustrations of a regular miner...
sadism (noun) - perversion in which gratification is obtained by the infliction of physical or mental pain on others If you get mental pain because someone stole your spot on Runescape, that wasn't actually your spot, that wasn't actually stolen, I suggest a psychiatrist. Meet Doctor Hammer. As for physical pain, I suggest you take a look at the angry german kid. If that's you, I'll give you Doctor Hammer's card.

Ever been muted for something so dumb...
Troll gets muted, the system works. People care. I mean, they're glad your immaturity inevitably got your proverbial [wagon] handed to you.

Lol, get a life noob I'm off to arma gws now If you even know whats kreearra lol *logs out* #-o #-o Don't fret. Chances are he bought that account and just learned about the GWD the other day.

Human-Interface out of RS
Nostalgic? Yes. Fun? Hardly. If I had to choose between now and then, then being: Me: I need a gout tuber to do this achievement diary *Ten hours later* Me: OMFG SOMEONE MUST BE SELLING A [bleep]ING GOUT TUBER and now: Me: I need a gout tuber to do this achievement diary *One hour later* Me: Woot I would take now. It's fun to look back on those days and realize how much more accessible the game is now, but go back and go through it again? I'll pass. While I enjoy reminding people of the times when we had to walk sixteen miles through the snow (of which there wasn't any snow because the best Runescape could do with weather was white tiles) to Edgeville, which was actually an abandoned village, I'd rather not have to deal with it again. Then again, if we did still live in those days, we'd be complaining about how much of a pain in the [wagon] they are, not reminiscing. Looking back through rose tinted glasses.

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
That's because this thread comes down to nothing more than "I don't think rares are fair so they should be removed and I should get all the nontradeables", then throwing in some irrelevant comparisons to pking, the wilderness, and other unrelated events or items.

Abyss RCing
You have to turn a good profit for super energy pots to be worth using. Alternatives are Spirit terrorbird/Bull Ant Salt Water bath from "As a first resort" gives you unlimited run for a certain amount of time. Could invest in dueling rings to get you close.

Human-Interface out of RS
Now banks are just filled with "pc" "pc" "pc" "pc" "pc" "pc" "pc" "pc" "pc" "pc" When the self price check tool comes out, banks will finally be quiet.

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
I thought it was feasible. In fact, I saw it coming, around the time Mod Mark said they were going to deal a blow to real world trading "in the coming months", and that their method would not be a wildly popular one, but necessary, and that players would have to choose between one less way to make money, and less rulebreakers. As for this idea: No. Sounds like the whinging you'd normally hear on the RSOF from the "i dint git eester egg, i want know, wah". The untradeable rares are supposed to be a sign of how long you've been playing, that's a blatant statement by Jagex that's been reiterated by the company multiple times in the past. They're not going to retract that because of some kid and his uneducated view on what's fair.

Has jagex just destroyed the most succesfull minigame in rs?
Coughremovaloffreetradestakingandpkingcoughhack WHEEZE... That said, this guy is wrong. none of those were removed, just limited. I don't remember anyone predicting that they'd be limited, just outright removed. So the doomsayers continue to be wrong.

date is...2007?!? what the hell???
Threads on the rants forum may or may not be being bumped by someone who may or may not be named 8112204, who may or may not be bumping up threads from october 2008, and back. Allegedly.

We don't need ":)".
Someone call the local nurseries, it appears they've misplaced another baby. Now now, don't cry. We know where your mommy and daddy are, we're just trying to get the RSOF on the phone so they can come pick you up.

Runescape Patch Notes - 10-February-2009
 I never heard one. Perhaps I should have my ears examined... :? You have to have music on to hear it, that's probably why you've never heard it.

Has jagex just destroyed the most succesfull minigame in rs?
I'm going to go out on a limb here and use logic: Doomsayers = always wrong Doom predictions = never happen Therefore the OP is wrong and this will never happen, like the thousands of "OMG WILL DIS BE DESTUCSHINED?" threads that came before.

+1. In fact, I would love to have an audio cue added to the slayer message, like the ticking clock for the despawn message. There is an audio cue when you finish a slayer task.

No more video adverts?
ITT: Crybaby members are about a month or two behind, the video adverts have been gone for quite a while without any effect. ITT: Crybaby member complains about Jagex's new plan on listening to f2p'ers ITT: Crybaby members whine about f2p not paying ITT: Crybaby members cry about not getting anymore updates (Because those f2p videos totally fund your updates) ITT: Crybaby members contradict complaints about Jagex caring only about money, by bringing up the lack of money ITT: Crybaby members compare Runescape to other MMOs, despite a drastic difference in marketing strategies, despite Runescape being "free with members benefits" and other MMOs just being "paid with a demo" Since the OP is clearly a member, he can post this on the RSOF where the rest of the 10 year olds bash f2p on a daily basis and talk about how their e-junk is bigger because they've got five bucks. There wouldn't be such a problem with this thread if half of you complaining about this didn't whine about how Jagex cares about nothing but money, and now when they're doing something that lowers income slightly for the benefit of the players, suddenly we're in defcon 4.

Magic Level for WGS
There's a door you have to get through that requires a certain rune. Other than that, i don't remember anything that required magic.
-
im thinkin about returning
1 1/2 years huh? Well there's pvp worlds, where you can pk anywhere (and I do mean anywhere). The drop system isn't what your enemy was wearing, it's a bit more complicated. Other than that, i suggest you read the news archives to find out what's new. Too much to go through and detail.

Wow, cool username! game
Clamato Can. Because you'll never enjoy Runescape unless you're enjoying it with a nice can of Clamato.

Multiple Accounts (Multi's)
I have a couple of f2p noobs I spend some time on. Spac The Wax: Defense Pure (currently at adamant armor, level....15 I think) Gen British: I have no idea anymore, but kudos if you get the reference Clamato Can: Will be a hitpoints pure when Jagex releases a way to raise hp on f2p without combat. It's just something to do when you don't want to do anything on your main.
