I'm wondering how much cash and exp people can make an hour with tanking. I've got: 84 range 72 defence (will be a little higher) 86 hitpoints I can afford all the best items and blah blah blah. I've read a bunch of guides, but as far as I know all of them just measure the profit per 'trip'. None of them really mention cash and exp per hour... Thanks ;)

I'd say no new skills... Why does everyone want new skills all the time? (Rhetorical question). RS is fine how it is, and there's already too much to do for how much time anyone should have (if you feel otherwise, maybe try accomplishing something IRL for once).

How are they supposed to make quest much harder? It has crazy skill requirements, takes a ton of time, etc. Remember when Mourning's Ends II came out, and how Jagex asked fansites not to release guides right away? Well the reason is that it's hard to make something that a quest guide can't tell you how to do. Let's look at the huge extremes: If a quest is too hard (practically impossible), eventually a guide will be made and then EVERYONE will use it, and complain that it was too hard. If a quest is too easy, everyone will complain that it's too easy. You can't please anyone... -.- (Although I'm glad WGS was found easy by you, going for the quest cape myself, hearing that is a bit of a relief)

I play basically the same way as you do. I've played for 5 years now, rarely post, etc. I actually said to my brother (Elferin, played the same time as me) that I almost think of all the other people on RS as one big NPC. It's strange you said the same thing... I think part of the reason this is, is that veteran players are usually older in real life than someone new to the game. When people are in their younger teenage years they tend to want to fit in and be accepted. As you get older, this acceptance is no longer as important, and now I currently play RS just because I like to see my character grow and improve. I had a really weird experience one day though: I saw my cousin's friend (both of them are around 13) who plays RS playing a hockey game. I saw a real person who I had talked to and associated with on RS, who I had previously thought of as part of the huge NPC that I considered the general population as. When he saw me by my cousin, I bet he didn't even know that the 18 year old guy watching the game was the Killordie18 he'd pmed in RS a couple times. It was weird, I can't even describe it well.

Well, since I've never really bothered to sink a whole bunch of money into either of these skills, I'm looking for someone who has =) I'm wondering how much exp you get and how much it costs to: - Do dragon bones in Yanille at gilded alter vs - Constructing whatever it is you construct at 50-60 construction to train 8-) Basically I want to know which of these skills is easier/faster/cheaper to train, so I can train that skill normally and use all my books of knowledge, genie lamps, quest rewards, etc. on the harder/slower/more expensive one. Anyone who has any idea and contributes is a superstar in my books. \

I'm just wondering which fairy ring is closest to a bank... Normally I do CW and run around south because it's really easy but I'm wondering if there is one spot that is a lot better than any others. Duz any1 no? ;)

Runescape isn't my life, sorry. To be honest I'd rather read about real life history, like about the Cold War or something. While neither is very interesting, one makes you sound smarter and less nerdy while one makes you sound dumber and more nerdy. I play the game for recreation, not to immerse my life into it. Besides, 90% of teenagers probably don't read anything they don't have to (school work). For the Runescape population it's probably like 60% don't. Jagex makes their money on memberships because we like to play Runescape. They shouldn't try to do the same for all of the reading-for-recreation people and hardcore RS players who read and know everything.

The new graphical update better be P2P only. And almost all of you F2Pers represent all of the beggars out there. You expect that the graphical update which will have no advertisements or anything on it will be given to you for free. Well guess what? If you want something, you gotta buy it; consider yourself lucky you can even play. If you want updates and stuff, start forking over some money. Besides, Runescape membership is practically free. It costs somewhere between 16-17 cents a day if you use a monthly subscription. So don't buy a pop (soda for you Yankees) or something like twice a month and that'll pay for your membership. Or if you actually got a job you wouldn't have to work one full hour to get membership for that month. And not only that, but there's a million ways to pay, and they're all safe and secure.

I do them mostly because I'm scared of what I could have got had I done the clue. I'm still always disappointed though.

My one friend(s) got a red and blue mask off of me from me trusting them too much... I've earned the red back, which was all I really cared about.

Jagex making another game means less time will be spent on Runescape.

You know, I hadn't ever really paid attention to the part about banning members. It is a good thing that they are banning bot members at their expense. Thanks Jagex!

Personally, I can't stand the quest guides that Tip.It makes. I prefer quest guides in single, step-by-step instructions. For me, I love the calculators. I picked that because it is really what makes Tip.It a good place to visit. They're so easy and helpful to use. I especially like the max hit calculator and combat calculator. It surprises me how many people voted quest guides to be honest. I don't like having one sentence take five minutes of game-time to complete. I prefer: 1. Talk to some guy 2. Go to this place 3. Talk to this guy guy here etc. etc. etc. etc. Tip.It's version would be: Talk to some guy and he'll tell you to go to some place where you'll talk to another guy. I know that this is just my opinion, but to me this is Tip.Its weak spot. I also know that it would be way to much work to rewrite them into a more user friendly (in my opinion) format.
