I'd say firemaking is far and away worse than mining, mining is super profitable. That being said, mining needs more updates (new mining locations, quests, ores :thumbsup: )

Your rune rock respawn rates are off, i find that worlds spawn at around 22 minutes when there's around 200 people.

I'm the type of player that wants to find the balance between speed and profit, I hate overspending to buy my skills, so I don't like powertraining.

If you're fighting NPC's and you're working on strength, dragon scimitar would be the better choice. If you're in PvP, think about getting a longsword. In any other situation, or if you want to go into PvP with a whip, get a whip, it's faster and stronger than the longsword.

Way to immediately try to start an f2p v p2p debate. Let people stay f2p if they want.. On topic: I do think Jagex should release some more treasure trail armor for rangers and mages, with the function equal to that of the highest existing armor, with stats equal to for example FoG mage robes, or green d-hide. There is gold trimmed green d-hide, but rune armor also has more possible trims. Sara trimmed d-hide armor would definitely see a huge market in f2p.

I think that certain worlds should be available for players who can verify their age, whether it be 16+ or 18+ or whatever.

If you're talking a set of items like Guthans, I would say that is pretty high up there, but if you're talking a single useful item, a huge number of people would be pretty upset if whips didn't exist anymore.

How is this easier to time the sounds to than the old mining animation? It was just like a normal cadence, instead of the two quick scratches and the bigger swings.
