  1. Ehm... what's there to discuss here? It's all common knowledge about the boss monsters, that doesn't need another thread to clarify. Besides, if you bother to post a topic, at least make it readable, and not oozing of dyslexic issues. Fail.
  2. An old one, from almost like 3 years ago!!! http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=308888&start=0 Nothing has changed :D
  3. 99 MAGIC!!! Took about a month to journey from 96 to 99, in F2P, doing 100k xp worth of alchs every day. While getting bugged for free money, laundry and whatever one's mind can conjure. Thankfully, it's over now :D ~v
  4. 18th June, I achieved my 5th 99 - MAGIC!!! Some facts: From 1-82 magic I cast all kinds of spells in F2P, this took approx 4 years (from 2002-2006) 82-96 was done in members, mostly high alchemy and bolts/blasts. From 2006 - april 2008 96-99 in f2p again. After retiring for 1.5 months, I had the urge to play a bit again, but was'nt keen to getting members back. Decided I'd get 99 mage in f2p then. For about the next month, from mid-may til now, I high alched. XP average for every day was ~100k, which doesn't seem like much, but I kept this speed 'til the end. Alched mainly green d'hide bodies and adamant plates. The GE was my best friend and so were my friends who bought me additional alchs Special thanks to: Dragon312 and Leedragon8 for always giving a helpful hand. Total cost: immeasurable, but I believe it was quite a lot cheaper than 99 crafting was. Thanks to the few who were online and were'nt busy to come and gratz. Now as for what the future brings, idk what I'll do next. I'll probably get members back, but the question is when. July maybe, new graphical update seems like a fine wakeup call. Until then, Comment please :D ~v
  5. Most of them are for nuisance purposes only. I'd much like those to be removed first. Leave the good randoms like the maze, school, genie and the cloth-givers. Remove all the rest. I hope no new ones will be added.
  6. Your stats are low'ish, and your total is even worse. The range level is somewhat decent though. Nothing too great about the bank either. Making a pure nowadays is not worth the time and effort. Should have trained your main further. 3/10.
  7. Heh, gratz on 99 farm. I want that cape too, someday. Just plain Murphy's law for the nublet in the ham hood next to you. As in, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Nevertheless, an awesome achievement. =D> What's next on your to-do list?
  8. Oh noes, my thieving level going down! Good luck beating that in 3 days, which is insanely fast. And good luck with 99. If you can get 1m xp so quick, what's stopping you to land the other 12m? Nothing.
  9. Ok you wanted suggestions? Here's mine: 1. Sell the dragon 2h, chain, legs, keep the boots 2. FORGET about third age plate and legs, they're too hyped up and overrated! Be glad you got the melee helm... 3. Get this outfit instead: Replace the bandos boots with dragon boots maybe. Higher rates are guaranteed then I'm sure, and it doubles as a useful setup for training aswell.
  10. I'm a bit of both. For cooking, even though I did most of it prior to Cook-X and even prior to RS2, I bought most of my lobsters. It was definitely faster than fishing your own, and why bother if you're rich enough to buy your way to the top. I even made a profit, since back then, a raw fish was cheaper than a cooked one. With farming however, I've never bought seeds to train the skill with. Always used MTK, thieved them or got them from nests while chopping trees. Yes, that's self-sufficient, and I'm proud of my level 80 farming. The reason people choose the faster, sometimes easier path instead of the self-sufficient way, all comes down to the amount of money they can spend on it. If you can buy all the seeds for 99 farming or all the planks for 99 construction, and not go bankrupt after doing so, you're good to go. And there's a simple obstacle to self-suffience aswell - time. If it takes a longer time to make the item yourself, and making it costs more money than you'd spend by just buying the item from the market, the question arises - why would you waste time on this. Time is money, never forget that. So therefore, self sufficience is not always good. This is the reason I never went dragon-killing to obtain the 100k+ green hides for my 99 crafting goal. Time.
  11. Lol, your bank is so unorganised. How long does it take to find a random item in there? :o 9/10 for stats. Nice ranged and slayer. 7/10 for bank. I suggest doing a bit of tidying there. It's a mess. ;)
  12. The helm doesn't look right with the dragon, at all. Should have gone for the DFH instead. Or you can just replace the dragon with a set of bandos. It'll look far nicer then. :) 6/10.
  13. I don't think it takes any longer to get a quest cape than an easy 99 (ex: cooking or fletching). I accumulated ~200 quest points by the end of my first month in members, for example. Now, if you have multiple 99s, you won't care about whether the quest cape is trimmed or not, chances are you won't wear it that often anyway. So ideally the only players who will actually benefit from a trimmed quest cape are those with a single skill at level 99. I personally don't support the trimmable quest cape idea. It'll just add to the already excessive amount of capes we can obtain. To be honest, players don't need it that badly, they just want an easier/alternative way to add a trim to their skillcapes. As for people whining about the high requirements, I don't understand why! Alot of players want a hard quest every once in awhile, and when Jagex finally gives us that, the whining starts, that the requirements are too high, the quest takes too long to complete, there's too much walking.... etc. For god sakes, why can't they just go and do the damn quest, or if the requirements are too high, train their skills to the point where they can attempt the quest. If it takes too long to complete, don't attempt to do it in one day. If there's too much walking, just run. It's what they wanted, afterall.
  14. I put 27 in my name because that's the day I was born on. Lack of creativity or something else... doesn't matter, can't change it anyway, even if I wanted to.
  15. Heh, a friend of mine got a visage off a wyvern yesterday, too. Only he killed 4 of them icy beasts. Luck is so strange. Anyways, gratz. 8-)
  16. Was going to post this earlier, but since TIF was down then, here it is now... :) 1 more alchemist level to go :P
  17. Monkeys groom your hair while you alch. Medieval shampoo.
  18. Everything looks great now, except for the stats page. The scrollbar there... why oh why? They could have just cropped a few pixels off every skill tab and be done, with no need for a scrollbar. Typical Jagex, in a sense that, like all their interface experiments before, the one now is ambitious, but once again, rubbish. Imho, scrollbar has to go. Logout button should be more visible too.
  19. Nice. Where did you get so many charms at such little time?
  20. This "blog" reaks of fakely fakeness. You're not zezima, don't keep telling yourself you are. Oh and... :shame:
  21. Very nice crafting. That being as your first 99 is even greater. 70 rc... man, I need that for all stats 70+ too, but too lazy to train that skill. 8/10 for stats. : Oh and... get something like 99 thieving or hunter to trim that crafting cape
  22. Ketchup, mayo and mustard exploded out from a broken vending machine to completely color you in white, red and yucky yellow? :-k Sorry, I don't like it, it may be somewhat original, but it's ugly. 1/10.
  23. *curses his own luck in 12 different languages* Very nice. :P Sell it/keep it?
  24. Some of these autoer's accounts are now being powertrained on request to be sold. Don't think for a minute that RWT is extinct. Rest of them are inactive until jagex makes a fatal mistake. Knowing them, it won't be too far in the future. I don't certainly hope for it, but due to general resource economy taking a painful hit in the form of skyrocketed prices, I'm kind of sad that they're gone from the scene.
