Void Knights Are Guthix Followers... Or Are They?
Headnazgul replied to Headnazgul's topic in General Discussion
Quite random but at least my randomness has some stuff supporting it :P. The Void Knight armor has the symbol of their flag on it, the sideways S, not a cross. -
It's "Totzk-Ket-Xil" I believe... Stop owning me. :uhh: Use a Rune Defender! Wrong yet again... sigh. Toktz-Ket-Xil = Obsidian shield. Tztok-Jad = lvl 702. If you spend even a few days at Tzhaars you will most likely memorize the names well enough to easily pick out a scam like this.

Void Knights Are Guthix Followers... Or Are They?
Headnazgul replied to Headnazgul's topic in General Discussion
Wrong. Staff of Guthix has same mage attack bonus as mage defense bonus, but in your defense, so do all of the God staves. You are right tohugh, it is quite possible the reason the Void Knight Mace has no defense bonuses is because it's not only meant for magic but also for melee, and normal maces don't give defense bonuses. -
Void Knights Are Guthix Followers... Or Are They?
Headnazgul replied to Headnazgul's topic in General Discussion
Jagex has been known to throw us some curve balls in the past. What about the "plague" in West Ardougne? Not gonna give it away but if you've completed that series up through Mourning's End Part 1, you will know what I mean. If you don't care then don't post. Simple as that. -
Most of you who have heard of the Void Knights who run Pest Control probably realize they are followers of Guthix, the God of Balance. But my question is this... what if they're not? What if they are in fact not followers of Guthix at all, but are instead followers of Zamorak, the God of Chaos? This post is not to prove or disprove this, but to put it to you to come up with your own conclusion based on a few facts I have come across. First off, the symbols. At first glance, nothing out of the ordinary: Void Knight: Zamorak: Different colors and seemingly unique shapes. But let's look at this again. Based on the Unholy Symbol of Zamorak's design (), we can create a uniform symbol of Zamorak with which to compare to the Void Knight symbol: If you notice, there is one single line that differentiates the symbol of Zamorak from the symbol of the Void Knights. This was shocking when I noticed it, considering the massive differences between many of the other symbols throughout Runescape. Moreover, the Void Knight Mace has a few intriguing features of its own. It is true, it can auto-cast Claws of Guthix, but if you've ever looked at its stats, you will notice it doesn't give any defense bonuses, and as most of you have probably come to realize through the use of Guthix Books and what not, most items used in the name of Guthix have practically identical attack and defense bonuses where as most items used in the name of Zamorak have zero defense bonuses and only attack bonuses. This is also particularly strange considering that it is practically the only weapon intended for magic that doesn't give any magic defense bonuses at all. If this Void Knight Mace was indeed intended for use in Guthix' name, then you would think it would be a "balanced" weapon, but it's not. Furthermore, nowhere on the entire island does there exist a single depiction of the actual symbol of Guthix or even his color (green) which can be found on decorative banners and armor throughout places of the world. You would think an order truly devoted to Guthix would at least have a shrine or a statue or even a little painting that could fit in your pocket, but they don't. Lastly, not once do they tell you who is actually sending these monsters through the portals. For all we know, they could be allies of Saradomin being sent to Runescape to conquer the Zamorakians. They could even be the minions of Zaros the God of Evil himself being sent from the realm in which he now resides, trying to reclaim the position which is rightfully his from Zamorak. However, as far-fetched as it may be, (what in this thread isn't far-fetched anyway?) the monsters could just be misunderstood creatures that have been mistakenly tele-othered into the islands of the south by powerful intoxicated mages. If you got tele-othered by a wizard under the influence and wound up a thousand miles away from where you were, I'm sure you'd attack the first thing you see as well. Anyway, I started to ramble into randomness but those are the ideas and facts that I propose to you. This is meant as a debate, but keep it clean, no flaming. Yes you will most likely think I am crazy, and yes, I am indeed a follower of Zaros. Are Void Knights followers of Guthix or followers of Zamorak?

Do you think anybody will ever get all skills to 200mil xp?
Headnazgul replied to Guthix_Girl's topic in General Discussion
It would take like 10 years for someone to simply max out slayer (but by doing so they would almost certainly max out attack strength defense\range\magic and most likely hitpoints). Also among the most challenging would be fishing, mining, woodcutting, and agility. Skills like that, where you can't just buy your way out, would take a truly enormous amount of time to reach 200m xp. However, I think it's safe to say that within the next few years we will see most skills hit 200m xp, but not by the same person. I'd honestly bet a year's pay that within 10 years the people who even had the tiniest chance of maxing out all skills will have quit, ruining the chances of anyone ever maxing out them all. PS: I'm unemployed, so sucks to be you if you win that bet. -
I have 4519 chompy kills and I can say with pretty high certainty that it's not the same feeling as completely maxing out your experience in a skill :\. I vote for 200M xp, that's just crazy.

Need quick answer - Skele wyverns, melee or mage?
Headnazgul replied to headshot007111's topic in Help and Advice
Melee protect works better. If you try mage protect, somehow they know your protecting from magic and just melee the hell out of you. It's odd but I've experimented with it quite a bit. Use initiate and whip. Don't forget super sets and prayer pots of course. They have high defense so supers are necessary. They are hard to kill but I find them entertaining. Btw, if you do manage to get granite legs, they do sell pretty well, like 300 to 500k depending on how many people are wanting your pair. They are hard to find when you're buying them so price can vary a lot depending on how desperate they are. -
I have close to 800 castlewars tickets, fire cape, and over 4500 chompy kills. I personally hate the combination of those colors. I don't like the so-called "gold" of the castlewars armor as it is, it's a very ugly color. The gold chompy hat doesn't really go with much besides Blue robes (g), gilded, and initiate. I prefer the black 5 feathered by far. Just based on looks I'd vote for chompy hat, as I just can't stand those cwars colors. Also, wearing my black hat around a lot, some people do ask about it, but most people who comment on it give a compliment because they know what it is, or at least know what it resembles, making it easy to guess that it's a chompy hat. I tend not to wear the gold hat very often though because I get way too much attention when I do. In my opinion though, I think the gold cwars armor is less seen than the chompy hat, but most everyone knows what it probably looks like because you can see it in the castlewars shop.

That's not the glitch, it's supposed to be that way. As someone said earlier, the glitch Mod Ash mentioned was them giving the wrong amount of xp.

Why would it be? It's not near varrock, it's not a dragon, it's not a giant :P

I honestly don't think they will ever release it if it's not a typo. Reason being is pretty simple, the saw is a tool, you can't wield it as a weapon. The axe is a tool as well, however, it can be wielded, making it quite different from a simple saw. Plus I mean what kind of stats would it have? Dragon axe alone isn't all that bad. A crystal one would probably be pretty similar to a Dragon Longsword, but being crystal, would almost certainly require 70 attack. So I ask you, why would Jagex release an item which requires recharging and 70 attack to use, when we can simply use a Dragon Longsword with similar stats at 60 attack that doesn't require recharging?

What's with all the scratched out ones?

Meleeing Iron\Steel Dragons (Aug2006)(AoW)
Headnazgul replied to Headnazgul's topic in General Guides
It also says that in the guide... Warrior is a better choice because of the increased accuracy. -
Meleeing Iron\Steel Dragons (Aug2006)(AoW)
Headnazgul replied to Headnazgul's topic in General Guides
It says in the guide yes they attack with melee, so you have to use Protect From Melee prayer while fighting them. It would take you about 2 doses of Prayer Potion to kill an Iron Dragon I'd imagine, that's why I recommended higher stats, so you don't have to drink as much Prayer Potion per dragon. -
If you wanna waste thousands more than you should, use magic. Otherwise read my guide to meleeing them for far less cost.
-
Cannon works alright against Bronze Dragons as they have relatively low defense. If you try it on a Steel Dragon, however, you will quickly find that the cannon is rendered useless against their massive defense. PS: If you want the d drops, go for Steels :P

Meleeing Iron\Steel Dragons (Aug2006)(AoW)
Headnazgul replied to Headnazgul's topic in General Guides
Yeah you could probably do bronze drags with 60+ ASD and around 50 prayer. I can't stand Bronze though. They're swarming in Wild Dogs and Black Demons. -
Gah... it's pretty obvious he is not talking about enchanted bolts people. He's talking about conventional ammo, like arrows, crystal bow, and bolt-racks.

Nice Guide, I've read it on the RS Item Discussion forum quite a bit when I got tired of babying people who didn't listen to my answers :P. But I do have a suggestion to make it more appealing, more pictures please :$. Like a picture of each kind of cat, and the cat training medal would be nice.
-
Not that hard to figure out your answer. Just base it off what you already know. Range Potion: Increases level, therefore increases damage and accuracy of your arrows\bolts. Magic Potion: Increases level, raises accuracy but does not increase damage.

I just tried it, it does still work \

768, always has been.

You don't need to use your own though, if you know someone who has one, you may use theirs if they allow it. But please don't follow someone and beg to use theirs... can't stand those people.

Well that's what I mean, hallying them from a safespot. I remember you could stand in the doorway and they couldn't reach you, and also behind the stone table. Wondering if those spots are still safe.
