  1. Sorry for your loss. You've been credited.
  2. You are correct, added and credited.
  3. The purpose of the New Members guide is to help someone coming from F2P to expand their access to the other 3/4 of the Runescape world. The quests listed open up an entire region, not just one town, and allow access to multiple new quests. Obviously more quests unlock more cities/islands, but those quests become more and more advanced, requiring more skills and many quest prerequisites. (For example: Monkey Madness requires previous Gnome quests which are recommended in the Getting Around Guide to unlock Spirit Trees and Gliders.) We have to limit the guide somehow, or it would list everything on the site. That's just how the guideline was drawn.
  4. Wow nice start of a guide. I hope you wouldn't mind me sharing a partial list showing some of the inventory pics that Tip.It current has in the items database. The Crew would LOVE for users to post more of the colour variations with a view to adding them to the site. I can see from your list that we are missing many colours. Any variation that we do not have would be credited to the poster! [hide=these aren't in the format you've requested, as they are "inventory" only - perhaps they can serve as examples] Baby Chameleon Baby Dragons (need red :o ) Baby gecko (animated) Baby giant crab (animated) Baby monkey (missing variants) Baby penguin (missing variants) Baby platypus (missing variants) Baby raccoon (missing variants) Baby squirrel (missing variants) Black dragon egg (need 3 others) . . (I got tired here :P ) . Hatchling dragons (need red)[/hide] Again, any inventory pictures that we do not already have will be happily credited to the poster!
  5. [hide=DONE]Le Fay, magelord or anyone with a phoenix eggling - we need the examine when it's in inventory. We also need an inventory pic of the mean one (just like the top left of Le Fay's pic http://i41.tinypic.com/11trexk.png ). If you can provide an inventory pic of the mean one, please make it a PNG for clarity purposes. Thanks to anyone who can help, you will get credit on the site![/hide]
  6. aw, thank you. we would have used this in the Bestiary, but unfortunately we uploaded a Phoenix boss picture a night ago. http://tip.it/runescape/mon2/Phoenix.gif Thanks very much for wanting to help though.
  7. I am having no problem searching a new monster after an old one. Please be sure you have the latest version of the microhelper. Please post more details about the bestiary problem (like what your search terms are) if it continues. I had this also, and here are two things that worked: One was shutting down Firefox and then restarting. Today it wasn't happy even after the restart. So I just keep reloading the page - and it did finally load up without the error message after several tries. I'm not saying this is ideal but it *does* work for me. This is my fault personally, lol. This specific item record has links in the Use field, which isn't part of our items database protocol to start with. So the link you clicked wasn't expected and the software didn't like it. We can see if Errdoth wants to write in exceptions for this, or if I should just go clean up my links.
  8. You are my hero, when I noticed my attack was 45 instead of 89 I didn't know how the heck it happened. Did not realise it went back up on its own, I used restore in my panic.
  9. pokemama replied to vaneck's topic in General Guides
Moving this to Player Made Guides so that other Forum Users will know where to look for it. We (the Crew) ALWAYS check there for user guides. Thanks for writing it, we need more quest guide help from users!
  10. That would be great. The pic quality is unimportant, because pics of chats would never go on the site. They only need to be clear enough for us to read them for reference purposes. :P
  11. It's understandable that you'd want to improve the picture in the Skill Guide. However, there are a couple of reasons not to use this picture. First, it is 80Kb. We are asked to keep our web page file size down as much as we can. I realise that high def images are appealing, but the files are large. While the file size can be reduced, it will still be much bigger than the current image. This will increase loading times, especially for people using slower connections. I realise the existing JPG isn't as crisp as it could be. But someone reduced the file size as much as possible to get it to 15Kb. The content of the picture is the other reason for not using it. A still picture of a tree plot does not have the visual appeal of a busy allotment thronging with excited players, which was taken on the first day farming was released in 2005. I hope this helps explain some of our decisions regarding pictures. Thanks for wanting to help.
  12. Thanks for wanting to provide pictures for the quests. However, Tip.It has a policy concerning such pictures. The policy is that the picture must help the quester in some way. This usually means that they should show where to find something (a minimap), or how to solve a puzzle, etc. When you have found the Draugen (or Koschei, or the Fossegrimen, shown in your pictures above), you will know exactly what they look like. So a picture, at that point, is moot. This is the same reason we do not include the "quest complete" pictures in our guides. The rewards and quest points are clearly laid out, and including a picture of something you will see yourself just isn't needed. Thanks for wanting to help.
  13. Thanks, I believe they modified it when the skill first came out. This has been fixed. If anyone has the smithing xp for the other armours please post a new topic and we'll fix those up as well.
  14. I guess in theory we could show 2/3 of the xp for the regular potion, and then the fishy mix xp added. So every 2 regular potions you make would allow for 3 fishy potions (six regular potion doses make three 2-dose fishies). Up to calculator guy.
  15. I've confirmed your info, just one more thing and I'll be able to release it. Thanks for your patience!
  16. Awesome guys!! Have begun a list at the top and added to the Crew database! Thanks!
  17. Found a minor coding error that may have been causing the image not to display for some people. Fixed it. Please post again if this did not work, and let us know what browser you are using?
  18. Yep, it should have been double. Fixed, thanks!
  19. I admit the vid looks good - just hope it wasn't from the old days before Jagex adjusted the room. Did you use this technique yourself, and recently? Or are you just reporting the video? Although his posting date was recent, you'll notice most of the vids date from the release, and Jagex nerfed the hally potential shortly afterwards. I've added a note that some players report luck. Then folks can find out for themselves, eh? Per your note I did not credit you, but could not credit extremeotank since he did not post here himself. :( I hope some people can post confirming or denying using the technique recently.
  20. I've added weapons and armour to the suggested items, and also renumbered the quest steps. I removed the plank since you get it during the quest. I did not add energy potions, because running in there will likely get you into a trap situation. I also could not add the suggestions for the fight. It has been so long since the quest came out and many people posted about the final fight at the time. It's very difficult to adjust without information from a LOT of people. We must ensure that any advice in our guide works for ALL questers. Thanks for posting. If you find I've created any errors in the guide with my edits, please make a new topic to let me know.
  21. Did you actually do this yourself in game? We'd need someone else to confirm. It's certainly an intriguing idea.
  22. The pic shows the puzzle incomplete. If you would like to provide a pic of it complete, please do ...
